We took our picture and had a nice chat, then he moved down the line. My wife, unbeknownst to me, took her Meet and Greet time to tell Corey what he means to me. It's one of the most beautiful things she ever did for me. After listening to my wife, Corey turned and walked back to me. He gave me a giant bearhug and whispered "it's people & fans like you that help keep me going when times are rough. Thank you", and he walked away. Slipknot is bigger then all the members. I found Slipknot in 2002 After my father died. Was my first Dive into rock/Metal. i was 12 when he passed. 10 days after my birthday. Im a bit choked up saying this but i dont think i would be here if it wasn't for them and their music. I was able to vent out so much with Iowa and Subliminal through music that i couldn't voice. I cried when Paul died. And All Maggots old and new. Its special because we are a family, we may never have met, but i feel like if i see someone make a slipknot post and im feeling down i could message them and they would give a fuck because they are also a maggot. Slipknot is more then just Music in a way. My gram passed 3-4 months ago and slipknot is my Bandage SLipknot is what gets me through it. from falling to deep in the dark to those spaces where you could make a permanent choice for temp problems. They are my Absolute Favorite band and always will be.

It just still blows me away that he is from Iowa. I live in Iowa. After listening to him, I love him that much more. And after listening to him, he has that mid-west laid back attitude. Wonder what he is like if you meet him on the street.
he was super polite and thankful for us all being there at a meet-and-greet the other day! i know that's not 'on the street', but he spent a lot of time talking with everybody about how he's missed playing shows in our area (Huntington, WV) and wants to come back with Slipknot (he last played here with Stone Sour about 12 years ago, and has never played with Slipknot).
I can tell you why us maggots come to shows. Slipknot, iowa, and vol.3. I was 9 years old when I herd slipknot. I was up way to late, and I saw the video for my plauge. Those albums did something for so many people. Thats why we still show up.
I just wish things get better in our country and Slipknot tours Pakistan. I have been listening to Slipknot since I was 13-14 years old. I am 32 now. I just wish I could meet him one day.
Corey man im proud from hungary. You give me fkn gas. You are the reason for im an honest man. Not rude but honest. Greatings from hungary. I hope you come here for a show like in London. We and my friends would like it a lot. Thank you everything you do. Egészségedre.

For 21 years I've listened to Slipknot Daily or every other day. I have never met them. Ive seen them live with all OG members, But never met them but through their music i feel like they are family.
Corey with the AIC FACELIFT T-Shirt! Didn’t think I could line this dude more than I already did! Good shit brother! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Good to see thee ol' NECK still kickin it!
I love Corey Taylor one for slipknot and for being homble. Much love corey you got me through some super hard times, and you were the one person not to judge me. Love you even if you never read this. Bless you and your family. Much love ❤
46:57 how we all would feel meeting Corey
I actually met Corey Taylor at a Southwest terminal at Dallas Love Field. He was very cool and took a pic with me.
This is a great interview!
From being abused to rising and being the person that is today (with its downs); amazing
Good to see a podcast interview with everyone's head's screwed on. Great job. 9 for life!
This was such a good podcast I'm such a Corey fan and him and nergal omg i could die happy 😂
I can tell you why us maggots come to shows. Slipknot, iowa, and vol.3. I was 9 years old when I herd slipknot. I was up way to late, and I saw the video for my plauge. Those albums did something for so many people. Thats why we still show up.
You can often tell a good singer by their speaking voice.
I just wish things get better in our country and Slipknot tours Pakistan. I have been listening to Slipknot since I was 13-14 years old. I am 32 now. I just wish I could meet him one day.
“Some people aren’t worth the skin they’re printed on” fuck man that’s a good line!
I was at that Birmingham show in the UK - great show!

Icon on a budget.. 🤣🤣 Corey is so funny and down to earth 😊
Good questions, guys. Much love from a maggot. 🤘🏻
I’m from Iowa and love Slipknot!!
My fave moment related to Corey and my sons will forever be when they realized the "spongebob dude" was ALSO the singer for Slipknot hahahahaha
I wonder how Corey Taylor would feel like collaborating with M shadows or Avenged Sevenfold as a whole, it would be so dope.
Amazing interview! Love Corey 🤘👏👏👏🥰
