He has always been so cool to me! Such a fun conversation with a lot of laughs. He first came on the channel when there were only about 200,000 subscribers.
Wow, Drowning Pool was my first ever gig in London Feb. 2002, I was 15. I saw Slipknot for the first time at Reading Festival 2002, Dave Williams died less than two weeks before the festival. I never knew that relationship existed!!!! Thank you Rock Feed. I’ve got that warm nostalgia feeling ❤
I saw one of Drowning Pool's last performances at Ozzfest 02. Good god that was a hot day, I didn't even put any sun tan lotion on and had damn near scabs on my back from the intensity of the burns. I've since NEVER forgot to put any on. They played on the main stage (after second stage was done) and everyone was dead freakin tired. It's a shame cause they seemed really dope. Good times regardless. Plus Ozzy announced Sharon's cancer was in remission IIRC. Really hyped the last performance up.
What a great moment for the channel. 👏 Corey looks a little rough, the dude is sooooo busy with different projects... I hope he's better rested/feeling better soon
Watching this interview, I can see another reason that Slipknot is falling apart, because Corey always wants to do his own thing, and his heart just isn't in Slipknot anymore
@@jefflewis4126 I can see why you’re saying that but I disagree. Okay last album was meh, but I believe they’ve got some great stuff ahead. Also, Knotfest is a great platform for new bands ..so I think Slipknot are still leaders in the metal scene. As for replacing members, they have zero tolerance for drug use ever since losing Paul.
Just saw his solo show 2 days ago in jersey. Ive seen slipknot a billion times in the past 25 years...stone sour a bunch of times but i honestly felt he was having the most fun just being himself on tour. Played a bunch of stuff from knot to stone sour to his stuff and covers and it did not disappoint whatsoever. Guys a legend.
Brilliant interview. I love the fact even after all this time you can still see the fire in Coreys eyes. The interviewer deserves kudos for engaging so well, and not just going through motions.
I first heard about Slipknot listening to an interview with Spider One from Powerman 5000 and they asked him what he was currently listening to and he said Slipknot. I thought they were great but I didn't really get in to them until I saw them at Ozfest 2002.I was right up front and holy shit it was amazing!
That is the longest I’ve listened to Corey, and he seems like a very genuine and cool person. Really nice interview, respectful questions too staying clear of any band friction etc over the years. It’s was also comforting in a way to hear that also on the Slipknot level, soggy sandwiches are a thing.
I will never stop buying physical copies of music I love and supporting the artists I love. It’s important for me to have the ability to hold art in my hand
This is such a fantastic interview, as always. Corey is a hero of mine and I'm so envious that you've been able to spend the time with him! Congrats man.
Corey just seems like the coolest guy in the world to hang out with. So chill and humble, really down to earth. Great interview. You must still be stoked to get this interview.
Corey is my favourite male vocalist and musician from the last 20 years! I just love how he keeps it real all the time! He has huge respect for the fans that made him who he is today! Much love and respect! Can't wait to check Taylors new album! I've seen Stone Sour live but Slipknot has always been a bucket list band for me. Hopefully I will get to see them before they stop!

Speaking of him acting, Corey should be the villain in a horror movie. He's got a good creepy laugh and he does really well at taking himself to a dark place. I've heard it on the Slipknot albums. He could even be a villain on an episode of Scooby-Doo. That would be awesome. Great interview too! \m/
