之前去菲律賓馬尼拉旅遊個陣，系馬尼拉一個小靶場遇到過兩支Model10-7 RHKP 8325/9043，後面問過一個收藏家，佢話港警淘汰10-7之後第一站就係賣去菲律賓，系菲律賓見到反而是最正常的。用佐成三十年
當時香港警察好多有槍牌嘅, 都想買返呢一批警槍, 作為收藏及留念, 但卒之賣咗畀菲律賓.

CID用Colt .38 Special時，有12發子彈(6粒後備)，軍裝警員只有6粒子彈在槍內，用S&W後期，軍裝警員有另外6粒後備子彈在speed loader內！在80年代中期，PTU既Company S/Sgt 仍然用Sterling submachine gun，水警亦有用，後來不知何時全部取消使用！
It is Colt Detective Special not .38 special, .38 special is the name of a Cartridge called .38 s&w special.

I was under the impression that most of the rifles carried by the HKPF EU units were M-16 style semi auto AR-15's
I am not 100% sure what model la they are using. They can change handguards, stocks and barrels
Not the true. During the British period, EU patrol car equipped the Remington model 870 shotgun and not the AR 15 riffle. EU armory and all police station armory got AR 15 riffles for "attack on station" and anti-roit platoon formation purposes. Now, all EU cars get MP 5 (semi-auto) as a standard equipment.
In 2019, H&K stopped supplied any MP 5 and parts to HKPF and the SDU changed to used the SIG MPX. But I don't know whether EU car changed the MP 5 to MPX or not.

有時候他們也會自己換槍管。Positive 本身都有幾種口徑。槍管換了，準星和其他positive 就不一樣
想問下第二把 .38s&w 係咪 s&w 1905 victory model? 原本諗住買model 10 結果買咗呢把，如果香港警察以前都有用過嘅話咁我就唔退貨啦
是victory. 製造日期應該不是1905
Victory 是英軍打完二戰帶到香港，給了警察用。所以數量比model 10 少很多
香港警隊如果係E U用AR15，至於CTRU用 SIG516，至於Glock 17 ASU CTRU同G4重用緊
SIG 516 停產了. 冇零件了。
Glock 和 AR 零件深圳有。哈哈。
就算冇停產，禁運都死，似乎以後用92式吧

EU 除咗Colt AR15, 仲會用MP5, 不過係MP5SFA2 (SF=single fire單發版, A2係無得伸縮固定托)

聽說是警隊退回原廠回收。主要原因可能是警隊想換新槍吧。
60'年代, 警隊肯定用過colt police positive 0.38 S&W revolver, 但唔肯定有冇用過colt pp 0.38sp!?

他們只有四十米。
手槍有效射程，一般在5O米，約一個標準游泳池長度，稍後彈頭無力，或不可傷人體。盒子炮則可達1OO米，因子彈不同。
仲未賣翻把左輪COLT DETECTIVE SPECIAL? 我第一把槍就急不及待買左把。價錢唔平，但係睇港產警匪片睇得多，一直都好想要。系美國仲可以隨身攜帶。出街扮下CID都好LOL。
我想等到HKP marking 的。但係機會很渺茫
