Sometime around 2010 I used to pretty regularly dive into wormholes with my Tengu. What I liked most about the Tengu was how I could refit it to completely change the role it was performing. I would carry two fits in the cargohold with me: a cloaky setup that was fit out for salvaging and probe scanning, and the main combat setup. All needed subsystems to use both fits were carried as well. I would scan down a wormhole and then scope it out. If it seemed relatively quiet in terms of player activity and there were sites abound, I'd bookmark all the sites then leave. Dock at the nearest station, refit for combat, and return to the wormhole. Run all the sites, leave, dock and refit for the cloaky scanning/salvaging, and return. Of course, I would have to keep a probe launcher on the fit at all times, so the combat setup wasn't 100% optimal (this was waaaaay before CCP reworked T3 strategic cruisers so they all have a default bonus and guaranteed slot for probe launchers). I made quite a lot of money doing this, and it didn't require an overly expensive or shiny fit for the tank either. I think the most expensive module I had was a Pithi C-Type small shield booster for the tank. I made quite a lot of ISK ninja running C1 and C2 sites. One day, I figured I'd try a C3. My Tengu absolutely had enough tank and spank to do C3s, so I figured the increase in payout from loot and salvage would be worth going after. After a few hours, I had accumulated probably 500 or 600mil in loot and salvage. However, the wormhole exit had destabilized. I was in my cloaky setup so I started scanning down a new one. The one I found went deeper into wormhole space. I knew I had to GTFO as quickly as possible, so I just hopped through. This was mistake number one. Instead of going deeper I should have tried to locate the static. When I got through to the other side, I saw a small gang of battlecruisers on the other side, camping the wormhole. They saw the wormhole activate, they knew someone was there sitting right near them. I knew I couldn't just double back and burn through the wormhole, they would catch me. I decided to warp off to a random celestial, but cloak as soon as possible. The cat was already out of the bag, they knew I was there. Exposing myself for a single server tick would not be that big of a deal. So I went for it. I slipped away from them. My plan was banking on the hope that they would scramble and try to track me down. I was hoping to get them off of the wormhole and pull them somewhere else so I could just go back through and try to scan down the static. This was mistake number two. Obviously they would not attempt to do this, I was cloaked. I warped back to the wormhole I entered through, they were gone. I thought I was free and clear. Oh boy, I was wrong. They did the only thing they could have done to catch me, and I played right into their hand. I went through the wormhole and went back to where I came from. And guess what? There they were, waiting for me once again. However, this time they had a tackler much closer to the wormhole. I tried to do the same trick, pick a celestial and cloak up as fast as possible. It didn't work. The tackler was close enough to get in decloaking range very quickly. My cloak failed and he locked me up. In the span of 2 or 3 seconds I was locked down. The others came through and started blasting me, and my Tengu was reduced to space dust, along with all of that lucrative, delicious Sleeper loot. Despite my dumb and stupid mistakes, it was still a lot of fun. Pillaging wormholes is probably the most fun I've ever had in EVE and I've done lots of stuff. Even lived in a wormhole for awhile, although that got quite boring. I imagine this sort of thing is even easier to do now with T3 cruisers, we have mobile depots now, and every T3 cruiser has a guaranteed slot and trait for fitting probe launchers. Instead of having to leave and refit multiple times, you can just deploy a depot and do it all right there. You wouldn't have to sacrifice DPS either, because you've got a guaranteed slot for a probe launcher, always. I may consider pillaging wormholes again.
A similar story happened to me, in my Tengu as well. The only difference is that I jumped out of the WH in low sec. As soon as I was through the WH, a gang of 3 players was waiting for me on the other side. So there I was, still cloaked after the jump thinking: “Now what?”. I was very close to jumping distance to get back in the WH so I went for it. I made the jump and 1 guy followed me. But it was too late, I aligned to a celestial and immediately warped. Sure enough this guy followed. As soon as I exited warp I aligned to the next celestial and while I was entering warp the other guy was just about to exit warping. When I was at the second celestial, I selected a random bookmark I had previously saved for safety reasons in a random point of space and finally I could breathe again. Once joined the bookmark I de cloaked and signed off for the day. To be honest I was worried the whole night untile the day after but as far as I know there is no way to pinpoint a ship after you log out before it disappears from space (not enough time). So yeah, the day after my Tengu was still there with all my loot, and I managed to scan a high sec wormhole to get out of hell 😎 Only in Eve Online I had this real trilling experiences, always on the edge, what a great game it is. I hope to come back some day, my solo corp is still there… Somewhere.
I literally just started doing this but with a Myrmadon and a mobile depot so I don't have to go to a station to refit. This is really good money. Them campers were on it. Every death, a lesson.
Just started playing this game 12 days ago and I'm totally hooked! Glad we have an experienced RUclipsr to give us information that we need to survive.
Don't worry you will hate this game when you get your first Battleship spend millions upon millions fitting it out only to find out it does 1/3 the DPS your cruiser did. WoW WTH this game sucks.
You deserve a lot more than 5k subs, without your easy to follow tutorials, i probably would have quit eve instead of getting to understand it. Thank you for that.
@Guglis Amonopol ok, but you can use in game currency to pay for the account, and this gentleman has put out many videos on easy t1 isk making strats. you can easily get up and going with his guides.

Guys just as a tip from a relatively experienced wormhole pilot, I'm sure Ace won't mind me saying (or I hope not!) But he is a very experienced player. If you enter a wormhole do not be messing with fits yourself at the time of entry, or windows other than making sure your d-scan is visible and big enough for you to see what's there the minute you jump in. If you see anything nasty and you're not in a combat ship it will give you the opportunity to leave and try a quieter wormhole :)
You had 5k subscriptions and now you reached that 10k goal :) Eve have like 25-35k active pilots in space every moment. So 1/3 guys watch your vids. Nice!
I've been watching your videos for so long now .... before your video even starts I find myself saying out loud "hello everybody" emulating your accent 😂
This was a very enjoyable one to watch, glad you didn't have a surprise ending for us (getting ganked with all loot in spooky space). It was nice hearing your excitement for hitting 5k subs. You talked about your goal of getting 10k subs and would be surprised if it went higher. Here I am watching this for the first time at 15.5k subs, add one more. =) I started playing a year ago and you have definitely contributed to me sticking around in Eve. This game is not for the weak of heart. o7 Thanks you very much for your content, I attempted to stream a game several years ago and upload them to RUclips, it was more time intensive than I realized. I hope you keep up the great work, but no pressure. P.S. Please don't burn out.

You seal all entrances to a wormhole closed for up to 4 hours at a time. You do this by rolling the holes. The static won't create a connection until its scanned down and warped to or after 4 hours, whichever comes first. In the meantime you can rat relatively safe. If you do it in a C5 with a marauder you can make 500 million isk per hour.
Even after rolling the wormholes and not scanning the static ones, i.e. maintaining hole control; there may be some fleet waiting for you, cloaked or safe logged off. Our polarized torpedo fitted bombers got ganked this way by Wingspan while we were bashing the POCOs :)

I get what you’re saying about multiboxjng but 2 accounts is so damn efficient. You could have had one cloaked salvager eating those wrecks or whatever and with 2 clients you can still run max settings with a decent video card. More than that yes you have to turn down the settings. I run a freighter and an alt account for my scout/webber and it’s saved my ass so much.
I don't like that the game pretty much demands alts for some activity. I just settled that I will never multibox in any game, it kills the immersion and the fun, it feels a lot more like you are trying too hard to be successful in game. Nice video btw. IGN: Pirulitopolis Ciots
I love the game, but being I play another at this time - I cannot play now. I'm barely out of Capsuleer mode. I tried to get to Jita and got caught up in one of those bubble traps and was annulated. And got frustrated and kind of quit. But in 4k, and with all the details in the game I'm looking at the game again. But still... it's a tough game to figure out. And there's a lot of stuff still to learn. But EVE is a sharp game. One day I'll come back.
With enough time passed now, how do you feel about the game? Are you still playing it as much? Now, how do you feel about multi-boxing (personally I hate it).
Hey :) I still think its good obviously you can only play something enough and still be exciting hoping they develop more upon pve. But I still play you can see my vids. Not a big fan of multiboxing imo breaks a bit of immersion
Hi, I use couple of ships for c3 ratting: praxis 600mln fit ant it make 220mln/h, rattlesnake (i sold it) 2,1b fit and it make somethink like 400mln/h and paladin and it can generate near 600mln/h in c3 but fit cost 3,3b + implants :-)
Too expensive ships for C3 Tbh. You can easily match Praxis clear times with a 350m +/- Vagabond. It's cheaper and harder to catch. For C3 WR you will get same performance with a Confessors and that is +/-130m ship... And that Confessor clearing C3 sites in a C13, easily sits on +400m/hr.

Great content. Subbed
Awesome, thank you!
You should start streaming! Congrats on 5k subs
Seems like a great way to get ganked
I was hitting the DSCAN for you then haha..
Jimmy72nd Skyrim
Love going in a wh with a Rat. On the ganking, could you bring a mobile jump unit and whats the chance you could escape? love the content nice work!
How do you keep then from hitting your drones? Could a carrier do this in a c5 without them hitting your fighters?
Congrats on the 5k subs. Great wh vid IGN Yuri PrimeX
Congratulations on hitting 5k! Would love to be in the giveaway. IGN: Evier
I don't like that the game pretty much demands alts for some activity. I just settled that I will never multibox in any game, it kills the immersion and the fun, it feels a lot more like you are trying too hard to be successful in game.
Nice video btw. IGN: Pirulitopolis Ciots
couldn't agree more about the multibox thing
Is there same ship like this one for alpha clones? Pve, making isk purpose and also love the missile and drone combi.
As a newbro I got my first 10million doing WH exploration, your run seems more relaxing than mine anytime haha. Ign: Hemi Uvid
WH space for the win!!! Zartan Akiga
Hey bro, nice video. Do you have HG Crystals in this video?
Nope, I didn't use any implants
Well done on 5k subs

I want to try wormholes so bad. As a new player I find them very interesting. My IGN Troglis
I'm curious why you only used 1 combat drone. :) Good vid.
Curious to know how much is this fit worth.
I’d like to some wormhole ratting but I’m a new player with less than 100m Isk in bank.
Congratz on 5k, love the vidz! Ign: Ixo Alabel
