Beautiful headstock... I don't know how to build guitars but the amount of meticulous work You put on your instruments is impressive !!!! and the result is on the same level 😊
I am so enjoying your videos! What fun! Your guitar is coming along so nice. You have added in some really clever elements. I can tell you have been influenced by Crimson Guitars but your own style shines through so strong. Very nice work! Looking forward to more.
Fantastic craftmanship and video production, a worthy GGBO 22 winner good sir. Ethan Meixsell is a monster player too so that's a double thanks from me!
So! That's where Gimli's axe went! As a huge LOTR fan (the book first, the movies second), you are so doing it justice. So well executed, I almost think Peter Jackson is a consultant!
Aragorn" "You have my sword" Legolas: "...and you have my bow!" Gimli: "and you have my axe....just in case you need a bit of help carving a neck. The necks of Orcs, of course!!!"
@@adairguitars Enjoying the approach here with this series of videos. Visual, and simple. No need for explanations, we can see clearly what you are doing, and nice to hear some original music....guessing some of it is yours? Also good to see is your sense of humour, too. The guitar is coming along nicely, and the whole thing is going to look really gorgeous. Looking forward to the finished article.
Thanks Tim, I try to do each build series a bit different to keep things interesting. Unfortunately not my own music. For this series it’s royalty free music that I think fits the theme. I’m keen to get stuck into the body now. 👍
could your name get any fancier? when dotting your 'i's just isn't enough. Absolutely loving it. I may also have to try the axe to carve a neck, you got some lovely clean facets with that rusty blunt blade. 😂
As I watched you hack away at that neck with Gimli's axe, I heard Treebeard's voice in my head saying "Now, don't be hasty, Master Adair..."
😂 that’s too good! I love it when people think of references on these videos that I hadn’t thought of!
Stunning craftsmanship!
Thanks Damien!
This guy is a legend at building guitars
Thanks, appreciate it! 👍
Myyyy preeeeecccious......it's just so puuuuuuuurrrdddy!!
We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious!!
Great video again, and top workmanship . That is one lovely neck for sure..
Thanks, I’m very happy with how it’s turned out.
Every episode leaves me wanting to see more. Great work 👍🏼✌🏼
Thanks John! I can wait to get started on the body now. 👍
Meticulously planned, skillfully executed, and entertaining to boot. What more could anyone ask for. Epic. 👌
Thanks Colin, I’m having fun making it. 👍
Beautiful headstock...

Thank you, very kind of you to say. 👍
Artisanally excellent, but I feel like this was a seriously missed opportunity to just make a 7-string instead of the free floating "7th ring"
I was very tempted to do that, but I knew I wouldn’t play it much as a seven string. Had to go for long term playing for me in the end. 👍
great job incorporating the seventh ring. the time you spent with the dwarfs has really improved your axemanship.
Thanks Jurgen. It was a long apprenticeship but worth it. 😂

Thanks again! Hoping to get a fair bit done on the body over the next few weeks, so hopefully the next video isn’t too far away. 👍
Absolutely beautiful neck workmanship.
Thanks mate. I’m very pleased with it.

Thanks Mark. It was an enjoyable experience building this one. 👍
@@adairguitars I also appreciate the design homages to vintage Yamaha's evident on the build t-shirt.
Thanks, I used that shape for one of my previous builds.
Great work. I love all the small details you add. Looking forward to episode 4.
Thanks, I’ll hopefully get started on the body soon. 👍
Excellent work bud 👍💍
Thanks Chris!
Logo really nicely done
Thanks Graham! 👍
Wow, that is absolute INCREDIBLE. Serious craftsmanship. Amazing!!
Thanks! I’m very pleased how it’s turning out.
Beautiful work!
Thanks Patrick!
Hi from a Kiwi in the States.
Beautiful work mate.
Seeing the mountains of mordor was making me homesick though.
Look forward to the next adventure.
Thanks mate, New Zealand is on my travel list one day! Glad you’re enjoying it. 👍

Cheers! Trying to fit in as many references as I can, even if they’re subtle. 👍

PS looking sharp and neat, that neck. Nice work.
Nothing wrong with a bit of orc neck carving! Thanks Tim. 👍

“Lord of the Strings”
I like it! 👍
beautiful work.
Thanks!
Fun video.
Thanks Justin. 👍
Exceptionally clean work man. Good clean hatchet work too :D
Thanks Scott. It’s a precision Luthier’s tool. I don’t know why more people don’t use them! 😉
@@adairguitars I mean, it’s as smooth and subtle as a draw knife…
Awesome guitar! Also, you have the same name as ma grandma. Her name is Adair Silveira
Thanks Gabriel! It’s a good name to have!
could your name get any fancier? when dotting your 'i's just isn't enough.
Absolutely loving it. I may also have to try the axe to carve a neck, you got some lovely clean facets with that rusty blunt blade. 😂
I might fill the brass tube with gold next time to make it even fancier! Thanks Anthony. 👍
not sure I've seen that neck carving technique before... seems a little... enthusiastic?? great result though!!
I would definitely recommend a more gentle approach! 😉
Who needs a CNC when you have a hatchet? lol
Everyone will be using one soon! 😂
So that’s obviously not how you shaped the neck, but it was fun.
I don’t know what you’re talking about! 😉 always trying to make things a bit more interesting. 👍
Awesome, but I kept thinking, "this would make much more sense as a 7-string." Like...why not?
Thanks, I did consider that but at the end of the day I wouldn’t play it as much if it was a seven string. 👍
琴头设计的优点像 john cruz 的琴头哇!!!!!!呵呵呵
So.... you put Tolkien's symbol on the neck of a guitar?
Sure did. There will be lots of other references as well.
You fucked up. Dwarves play Bass. The Nazgul are the shredders.
Of course! 🤦♂️ It would have to be a short scale bass though.
Cease and desist
是从你的上一个视频 tele 电位器那看过来的,说实话感觉那个功能设计的稍微有点不方便,呵呵呵!感觉的用处不是很大!!!!在看看这个
Too much music. Couldn’t finish watching.
No worries then.
