This one's loaded, y'all! Prepare to stuff your belly as much as you're going to stuff your skillet. The beef base for these nachos would easily make a great taco soup (just add some stewed tomatoes) or as a stand alone without the chips. Whatever you do - just do it! Enjoy, y'all. xx
Get a printable recipe card here 👉 www.thisfarmwi...
    INGREDIENTS:
    1 lb. Ground Beef
1 packet taco seasoning (or chili seasoning)
    1 packet ranch dressing mix
Musket Powder Seasoning (order online through link below)
    1 small onion diced
A few small sweet peppers diced
1 can beans (pinto, black, chile or kidney- whatever you have!)
1 can yellow corn (or mexicorn)
    1 can diced tomatoes
Shredded Cheese (Colby jack, mozzarella and/or cheddar)
    Tortilla Chips
    Olive Oil
Toppings: Sour Cream, Olives, Jalapeños, your choice!
    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Brown hamburger with onions and peppers, drain
    2. Mix all other ingredients except tortilla chips in skillet and cook 5 minutes on low to medium heat until heated through
    3. Put a little olive oil in another cast iron skillet and layer with crumpled tortilla chips
    4. Layer meat mixture over chips, sprinkle with cheese and repeat layers beginning with chips again, ending with cheese
    5. Cook in 350 degree oven 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted
    6. Serve hot with additional toppings (sour cream, olives, jalapeños)

We do this recipe also. The combinations are only limited to what you have in your pantry. On different occasions we have added black olives, jalapeños, guacamole, sour cream and different beans and cheeses. Always fun to make. Never any leftovers.

Something you might think about...Pre heat your cast iron skillets with a little oil, butter, lard or some sort of cooking grease. I remember my Great Grandma, Grandma and Mama always did this without fail. Helps maintain seasoning and prevents food from sticking even bacon. I really like you're new channel. Hope you and you're family stay safe.
