NPCs moving into their favorite biome sounds like something Re-Logic would add in 1.4.4 if you asked nicely enough

You can actually use a second monitor to rod of discord to, increasing the range of the rod. Which leads me into my myth I've come up with, you can rod of discord from ocean to ocean with enough monitors lol.
Might actually be worth looking into if you can find a way around the 50 monitor problem. You also might have to rebind the use key for it as well.

Have a solution for the monitors, there is a program to set custom resolution for a monitor so you can use that and set to 50*1920 wide

You probably don't need that many monitors
If you have the Binoculars or the Sniper Scope, it'll take some time till the camera resets so, if you change to the RoD fast enough, you can extend your range even without a monitor

Myth: Since the “projectiles” shot by the dark caster, goblin sorcerer, and fire imp are actually NPCs, you can bounce on them with a slime mount or gelatinous pillion

makes sense, since those are the only projectiles that can be damaged they would have to be NPCs

Myth: you can summon plantera by blowing up/clentaminating blocks out of bounds

@@adekin1090 he places a plantera bulb out of bounds with t edit, and breaks it with explosives
It worked for the queen bee larvae, but it was kind of weird, but the bulb is much stronger than the larvae, so it might act differently out of bounds

@@adekin1090 maybe when the block below the bulb updates, probably mushroom, it realizes "this is not right" and implodes summoning plantera
otherwise it could be just a dirt block and ebonstone block next to eachother with the bulb on top, since bulbs don't grow on stone it'll do the same

I didn’t even know there were favourite biomes my first play through. I just put them all in whatever their background was.
It's really interesting that shortswords are considered projectiles. I guess that's how they were coded to attack 360° like a spear. I wonder if they were considered projectiles pre-1.4.0.1, when they would only go straight horizontally in the direction you were facing.
They were.
Almost everything, meelee and non-meelee is considered a projectile.
Myth: if the projectile limit is one under the max, Zenith has only one Sword
Zenith is a projectile so this is immediately debunked.

Myth: there used to be a glitch when you used buckets of liquid that made it possible to transfer them into your coin slots by mistake, and since there are four types of buckets, you could theoretically fill all your coin slots with buckets. By replicating the glitch with inventory editing and holding a void bag, can you make the coins go into your void bag instead?

For the out of bounds mining one, you actually don't need laser drill
In some places at the very bottom of the world, hellstone patches can spawn out of bounds and you can actually mine them
7:08 Even more unfortianately, the party girl will take on average 42 days to spawn, because she always has a 1/40 chance of spawning per night, even if you already have her.
I got her the same day as my truffle
@@FireFoxie1345 Do you mean you were lucky enough that when all your NPCs died she spawned at the same time as the truffle instead of like 40 days lator, or do you mean you wer unlucky enough that it took until hardmode for her to spawn the first time?
@@Mo_Mauve I had made a mushroom biome on the surface before hardmode. I reached hardmode on about day 50

Myth: using a flail while being dragged by the wall of flesh will make the flail longer than usual
You can actually make a very long flail if you are faster than the flail i know this for sure it happened to me

Imagine a terraria challenge series where you’re always at the projectile limit

Worst part might be the chat in the bottom left constantly telling you that you’ve hit a beach ball for the 999th time
Other than that it might sound interesting at first but when it comes down to it this just sounds like a true melee playthrough but bosses have less attacks
WoF might be a problem (but also nights edge exists) but past that idk, especially since he doesn’t play master mode

It might be possible to download a mod to artificially fill up the projectile limit, which would remove the problem of having to place the beach balls every session, and having the messages appear in chat.
After all, tmodloader is updated to the current version.

Myth: if you summon skeletron post golem and survive long enough, eventually the cultists move in and you can have both old man and the cultists

Unfortunately it's hard-coded in a way that makes Skeletron a required kill for the cultists to down

The cultists can’t spawn while a boss is alive or an invasion is happening
Summons and sentries being projectiles actually surprises me. I would have thought they are an entity/npc/mob/creature of some sorts and count towards that limit. They should really switch places with the Cultist's attacks.
As a new modder, it confused me at first. Essentially, theyre projectiles with their damage tag set to "summon", and sometimes a few lines to remove invincibility frames.
You'd be surprised how versatlile projectiles are, any cool weapon effects are usually projectiles, and I think zeniths swords count as projectiles too

Myth: Wearing the Fish Bowl will make the Shrimpy Truffle mount move as if it’s in water
Fun fact: in the beastiary (or whatever it’s called), when you click on the npcs, the background they are in is the biome they prefer. No more needing to look at the wiki!
Myth: If a golden bunny that has transformed into its world evil counterpart transforms back into a regular bunny, it will still retain its golden form.

Myth: If the Copper Shortsword is a projectile, can it be reflected by a Biome Mimic?
Don't ask how I found this out but it can not be reflected.

Oh hey, new playthrough idea:
How much of the game can you beat if projectiles are off/all taken by beach balls? As you said, pickaxe and a few melees work, but shortsword and some bosses don’t.

Myth: out of bounds Corruption/Crimson Blocks add toward evil percentage in the dryad menu
Great (i hope) idea for a challenge
So, there is a mod in tmodloader 1.4 that lets you modify the camera, and i think you can set the camera on another player, so you two could play on eachothers perspective, but you would be able to access your own inventory, map, etc
sometimes floating islands are all i GET of the hardmode biomes, my hallow LOVES to spawn inside of the jungle, ice, or astral when i play calamity. invariably one of my islands gets corrupted every single time so it was weird to see it being tested! i guess not everybody has as bad RNG as me lol
About correlates island - isn't it island with the crimson/corruption and corresponding chest? If not, i have no idea.

Fishing's quite an interesting part of the game, so here's this myth:
You can catch multiple biome crates from one lake (i.e., a lake in a corrupted snow biome or a hallowed oasis)
Myth: a mana crystal exactly between two players with the celestial magnet will go to host.
The best thing I learned today was that you can use the ice rod to build mi-air! This will really help when I make a space themed build!

The money one sounded pretty likely to me. I've actually found myself unable to *buy* stuff in modded runs when I managed to end up with over 999 platinum.

Myth/Fact: You can still continue to use certain types of weapons after being inflicted with the curse debuff. (Example being a Yo-Yo) Basically you gotta be in the middle of using them when you get hit

As for the out of bounds thing; my experience with TEdit showed me that there was usually a few things hidden beyond the borders of the map, so in a couple of playthroughs I was able to walk to the edge of the ocean floor, right-click with smart cursor on, and open a water chest that was outside the edge of the world. Free loot for me :D

already on the first myth I knew the answer. Recently, I was playing Terraria, and while killing the Desert Scourge (Calamity boss), it killed the gunsmith (he lived in the desert, his favorite biome). I've been waiting for him for about 5 in-game days, because I'm believed that he should again settle in a house in the desert. But for some reason he decided to settle in the jungle. And I'm waiting for him, and he was there all the time. Looks like he doesn't even care about the nurse, that is living in the desert.
The fact that Hallow and Crimson/Corruption goes through the whole world in different direction really displays how evil and light spirit got released.

Myth: if you try to summon a minion when you have the max amount of minions summoned, you will have one extra minion for a frame
I think this happened to me because i got the achievement for having 11 minions when i only had 10 slots
No it replaces the first minion you had. You probably glitched or got bewitchment.
you only need 9 minions for the achievement, not 11
Myth: Playing around more with the out of bounds blocks; "You can(not) be hoiked into or within the out of bound blocks". I saw you were able to build platforms there, so this time let's try a hoik elevator and see if the game still kicks us out.
I love how when you were placing houses in every biome you slowed down to place some in the middle of the crimson then seemingly thought better of it
tip for npc happiness, theres a mod called "npc happiness helper" or something like that, that puts their wiki likes and dislikes in the happiness window in a very readable way. might make it easier to set up specialized housing, which i personally use for the benefit of the pylon network

Myth: If you are using the luck mod bosses will drop the most amount possible of a item that has a random amount of a drop.
For example Eye of Cthulhu will drop 90 of the evil ore and 3 evil seeds. This could also affect the number of Servants of Cthulhu that will spawn as the Wiki says it will spawn 3-4 in Classic mode but this might be harder to test. Other bosses you could try it on would be Queen Bee with 26 Bee Wax and 30 Beenades and Moon Lords 90 Luminite.
Fun fact: npcs moving into their favorite biome was actually added in the recent update
When i first got the santa claus npc, he immediately moved into a house in the ice biome i had made, although there were free spaces in the forest and the jungle
And also when i did the pirate invasion the pirate actually moved to the house in the ocean although there were still other places

As you mentioned in the video about the enemy counter, Myth: if you try spawn in a boss with a summon with maximum enemy limit the music will play, the boss bar would show up, and it would say that the boss has awoken in chat but the boss wouldn’t spawn
Myth: The arms dealer will sell silver bullets in a tungsten world if you add more silver ore than there is tungsten. (Or vice versa)
Myth: All types of glowing moss can spawn in an world if you're lucky enough.
If that doesn't work (it probs wont) you can try generating an XL world to see if it changes anything.
Myth: Using any slime mount (Slimey saddle or Gelatinous pillion) you can bounce atop dungeon guardian without dying. (You can also use any slime mount to bounce on dungeon gaurdian and reach the top of a world)

I love the Gerudo Town themed desert build! It’s nice to see how BotW music and themes has spread across all gaming.
Myth: the phantasm arrow (from phantasm bow) can still deal damage to moon lord's eyes even if they are closed
Myth:If you use a slime mount you can use explosive bunnies under the mount to make it fly (you could use it to get to islands)
Myth: You can successfully store a key of light/night in the deerclops chest pet without it turning into a biome mimic
Myth: If you somehow manage to use a magic mirror, Recall potion, ect ect ect on the same frame as death, you will not go through the "You Died" screen, instead it will look like you teleported to spawn. (Note: This happened to me on Nintendo Switch, which i know is infamous for its glitches and bugs.) Love your video's, keep up the good work!
Myth 1 - hoiks can prevent you from being pushed by WoF;
Myth 2 - conveyors can push you in hoiks
For the npc moving into their favorite houses, this happened in my current playthrough, it's modded though, the arms dealer moved into the house in the desert right after I placed a torch, same with the nurse.
Myth: You’re honestly one of the best Terreria RUclips’s out there and make such awesome and entertaining vids.(might be hard to debunk this one)
In my most recent modded playthrough, I included the effects of each of the seeds including CelebrationMk10. It was probably some mod that let the Princess sell it, but the Resonance Scepter completely broke pre-hardmode for me.
For the 117 block wide world, try creating a box that you can use the Rod of Discord to teleport into and see if it still pushes you back in bounds. It probably will, but it would be interesting if it doesn't.
Myth: If you delete the whole world in TEdit it and leave the Temple in and use a teleportation potion you can sometimes get in.
Myth: if DeadBug interacts with the guide while Canadien summons WoF, Deadbug can still see the guide's text.
When being pushed back inbounds after going out of bounds with the Rod of Discord, you will clip through walls to get out of bounds. (extra: if you can clip through walls from the out-of-bounds push, clipping into a hoik would enable the hoik.)
Myth: Eater of world's segments despawn individually, not all at once
might be hard to test, you could use golf cams

It actually shows the NPC’s favourite biomes in their beastiary entries. It will be their background as well as actually say what biome they are found in (prefer)

I think for the DCU it has little thingies appear on the sides to fire the extra shots, and those are projectiles

Myth: the three chosen hardmode ores are tied to the seed (or maybe pre rolled during world generation) instead of rolled when altars are broken.

Myth: If you put the diagonal world in the right place, it can get taken over by the crimson/hallow
1:09 actually you can tell what biome they like by checking their bestiary entry. It's listed as what biome they originate from but in this case it's what their fav biome is
I wonder if you can get out of bounds for more than a frame in the 117 block world by lining the wall with blocks either so only the two out of bounds blocks are available or so those 2 and 1 in bounds block are available to tp to
myth: you are also unable to sell things with full coin slots if your inventory is blocked with an encumbering stone
Mith: can you activate a preassure plate in the single frame that you are out of bound (rod of discord on area out of bounds)
Tip, try some very fragile blocks such cobweb too
Myth: You can stay out of bounds after the Rod of Discord teleport if blocks are filled in such that it has nowhere back in-bounds to shunt you to.
(Or at the very least, you can get shunted a ridiculously long way if almost all blocks are filled...)
Myth: if you ask Re-Logic for a 1.4.4 idea to be added nicely enough they’ll add it
