What about a DLC where you customise your own Orc and build up your army. You can choose to side with good or evil
Conor Eiffe that’s a pretty cool idea so you could choose the class whether it’s an olog or uruk and the more you level up the better you become like you start as rare then epic and so on

Conor Eiffe There’s even that one Orc that looks and acts a lot like Talion. That could work for a third game. Maybe he’s rebuilding his old masters legacy.
*forgets to mention that you can also travel to Lithiad as Talion after you beat the DLC as Baranor
No the easternlings are not those guys who were on the "elephants" (aka mumakils) in The Return of the King. They were the haradrims who ride the mumakils. The easternligs are those guys who were in the The Two Towers they could be seen when Frodo Sam and Gollam went to the Black Gate.
Currently playing this and all i can say is this DLC is amazing, I want a WHOLE NEW game just like this based on creating an army and conquering fortress' but with a huge customization system of characters and even the fortress themselves, with the choice of being a Dwarf , human or Elven leader , maybe even the option to create a dwarven or elven army, it would be too cool ! i felt like the shadow of war story got boring after a while all I wanted to do was work on my army and thats exactly what we got in this dlc but a small version of what i truly want

Woah woah woah, easterlings do not have elephants, they are called mumakil and they are used by the southrons of harad. The easterlings have golden armour and this is situated, just north of khand and between mordor and a little south of rhun territory. Get your facts straight please

Those aren't Easterlings you are talking about, those were the Haradrim. The Easterlings are the ones marching to the Black gate in LoTR: The two Towers that Frodo and Sam saw.

I was hooked first time playing Baranor, and I think I like him and his toys better than any ring of power. One thing I love about the new region is more dangerous wildlife. Not only do you have were-wyrms to worry about, but you can also get ambushed by caragors, making the player have to be more cautious wherever he/she goes.
SpartanBlast I agree with everything you said , I actually like Baranor a lot more it feels more real , Talion just seems too OP at times lol

The Easterlings are the golden army fellas that marched at the black gates in two towers and was a back ground army in the return of the King when Minas trith gates were breached and the orcs came charging through lol.

*sigh* does guys with the "elephants" in the Lord of the rings are not easterlings. Easterlings are does guys that march on the black gate in movie two when Frodo and Sam is there. The guys with the elephants are Haradrim or Southrons. A people South of the easterlings.
Who cares, they are the equivalent of wildling men. I Know LOTR fans loves these minor details, but in the end, they are just discombobulated.
R, their not minor difference easterlings are Persians with cataphracts and chariots, haradrim are North African Arabs with elephants and desert tribes. The easterlings are so badass they almost fully destroyed dale and erebor by themselves, and would have had Sauron not died.
@@tylerellis9097 I'd say the Easterlings are more Turkish and mongolic actually than Persian, with some Persian but not as much as you'd think. The Variags are kinda based off the varangian guard and they're from khand, south of Haradrim, which would make the men of harad a little more like the north African and Arab civilizations and with a little subsaharan civs as well.
Shawn Knox Variags are not like the Varangian Guard in any way. Khand is north of Harad and between Harad and Rhun. Rhun and the Weaponry equipment of the Easterlings definitely sound more Persian to me but the Wainriders are very much like a Turkic Nomadic group so I can where your coming from.

The weapons that they use is even more like the varangian guard. I wouldn't put the rhunic people really anywhere near the persians, the Easterlings were mounted in most of the books they were no for they're mounted troops, an "evil" counterpart to the rohirrim. Sorry for the misspellings by the way. The Haradrim are definitely more subsaharan and Arabic in there military ways and what we know of their culture.

There is plenty of material to work with on the events of Balin and company.
I hope one day Ubisoft makes a real middle-earth game regarding the Lord of the Rings epic Peter Jackson's movies. With an awesome open-world roaming as a real adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy world and mythology!

This dlc was announced before god of war and origins came out lol.
Itsme M doesn’t mean in that time they couldn’t add to the game, I’m sure it doesn’t take a year to program in a few elements from other games and anyway gameplay showing the GoW shield came out at E3 2016 before Desolation of Mordor’s announcement.
Yea I highly doubt people are going to copy each other based on trailers, there was a hatejerk going on for GoW before it came out.

This was fun to play, and the replay value and self-challenging is a part of the fun.
@IGN The army of men riding "Elephants" ( Mumakil ) were the Haradrim. The Easterling's portion of the battle was cut from the film because their combat techniques were too R rated.
i think it would be cool if you wanted to fill a region fort with humans in the main game

It was way to short IMO. This story expansion is nothing compared to something like AC origins curse of the pharaohs, or one of the witchers 3 DLC . I had hopes for this game but they worked around lootboxes to much in hopes people would get sick of the grind and spend money. I love the grins to an extent, shadow wars shouldve never been the way it was they purposely made it to revolve lootboxes

I enjoyed more this dlc than the entire game, abilities in the main campaign sometimes can be overwhelming switching abilities during battles is annoying on the other side this dlc had enough abilities to make it enjoyable without affecting the game play. I want more of this
Story of Shadow of mordor is so much better.
All the stories (including DLC) are pretty dull & have no real payoff, everyone loves the Nemesis system but no one talks about the story at all lol Mordor tried but the villains aren't present enough Talion is just boring.
It’s really sad how this game turned out, this game was my #1 most hyped game of 2017 I even bought the gold edition for £80 and I never really get hype about games or buy special editions because usually they end up like Shadow of War did. At least it’s taught me not to get hype over games but no doubt it’ll just happen again at some point. *sigh*

Just Cause in Mordor. i like Just Cause but... this make no sense. It doesn't feel like Lord of the Rings at all.
Baranor seems to be an fusion between Marvel's Black Panther and Guts from Berserk, i mean he is a decent replacement to Talion but i'd wish to play as Celebrimbor in the game in his undead/wraith skin as seen in the final boss battle with Sauron in the game!

Wasn't bad. Short, but not bad. Still enjoy Talion more, But I loved basically one shotting the bosses with my glide stealth kill. Though seeing as you get so many upgrades, it's hard to die in anything but Difficulties above Nemesis.

Yes it takes a few hours to beat it... Unless you are on nightmare difficultly..... Then it might take days

Worst Season Pass I've ever purchased tbh. The problem is that the new DLCs don't freshen up or enhance the main game. They just add isolated stories that have little too no effect on the bulk of the game. So instead of coming back to a freshened up game, you come back to a long side quest that leaves the main game without any changes.

But what games do that?? Maybe fallout 4 and skyrim and AC:origins in a way that they add a new region but to me thats not what i was hoping for.
For SOW i think they are adding stuff like this new difficulties (Gravewalker and now - "brutal") and next month there is some slight enhancement to shadow wars that adds some sort of a story element to it.
I think they ARE trying to add to the main game in their new free patches.

We had this problem with the last game. The dlc are short and not all that interesting
Oh man, this game is so incredibly repetitive, I was exhausted after I finished the story. Had the guts to do all the grinding just out of curiosity... And it was horrible, lol I never try to go 100% in any game, I don't really care. But this time I did it nearly 100% because willing or not, the combat is very fun.. And I was on a college vacation, so why not? And damn, I regret that lol I can't stand even to look at this game anymore, I'm here to see if I could even look at some gameplay footage, but no lol And that even affected other games, I tried to play the Mad Max game and I was already bored at the first hour of the game. The Arkham series did wonders for the action/sandbox genre, but the overall "experience" is already exhausted, at least for me.
