I’ve had no issues on Xbox Series S! I’ve been playing Forza for years (since 2011) and all cars feel fantastic! I can even feel the tires losing traction or lifting on corners. I’ve just modded my first car (Supra) and it’s my favorite Forza game so far!
I like the old Gran Turismo's huge variety of cars. Most racing games have the same types of cars. Racing a 1933 Auto Union against a Ferrari, or, a Chrysler Pheaton against a modified 1985 Toyota MR2. It's a big part of why I can still happily play the same game over 2 decades after it comes out.
So I spent a few hours on this today...and you know what this Forza is the most fun I've had in a console racer in a long time. For me to hook up a controller and have a good feeling of driving with the assists off was a shocker. I get people's gripe about the leveling system but other than that I had a ball racing with my friends today.
This was a great video! I enjoyed your thoughts on Forza. It is a bit troubling about having to grind hours just to get parts for the car being driven.
Controller feels awful wheel feels great curbs dont feel at all i have to go by ear which is weird and i had a single game crash in the pre release.... otherwise everything has worked fine people need to chill out the game launched when i clicked the button. Thats more than a lot of games can say nowadays
Awkward because I'm running default controller settings and it is easily the best Forza has ever felt on a controller. Once you learn how each car drives, everything becomes a breeze. Idk if I can even go back to Horizon now.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I have no clue what you mean with the controller comment. It's one of the best racing games for controller feel. Definitely better than any other Forza. If you turn simulation on and all the assists off yeah you're going to slide a lot but it's still really predictable and playable. Forza has a lot of flaws with the new title but I would say the way it plays on controller is it's greatest strength.
No way, you actually took clues from my mockup thumbnail! Anyway, great video Yellow! I enjoy an opinion where its not just crapping on the game for not-so big issues.
I've heard good arguments for why people like and dislike the game. Personally speaking, the most important thing about this game, driving and controls are fantastic so thats great. I also don't really have an issue with the way the upgrades work and the leveling system. It's different, that's ok. My biggest gripe is with the PC port. It seems Turn 10 have spent the majority of their optimization efforts on the console and the PC is an afterthought. A complete 180 from how well Forza Horizon 5 ran on console vs PC. My 6800XT for example should be able to blow the Series X out of the water and yet even at 1440p I have trouble getting 60 with ray tracing enabled.
This game isn't perfect, but this game is so much more enjoyable than FM7 and I'm having a blast with it. I leveled up my Mustang to level 20 in under 3 hours just by doing the Builder's Cup introductory practice laps, qualifying, and placing on the podium for the few races. This is too easy. Plus, Free Play literally allows you to take any and every car in your garage, even locked ones and burn rubber on whichever track you desire. The hate for this game is flat out ridiculous.

Wtf, 20,000$ for a fresh Mx5 ?!
I can't even run it on my gaming laptop on low settings lol
PC optimization is an issue, as all games suffer nowadays.
You get people like black pantha or ar12 gaming who can't race anything that's not arcade. Acting like 5 year olds because turn 10 doesn't want limos or SUVs in the game.
I was less inclined to listen to your opinion once I noticed you have racing line assist and another assist that puts things along the edge (as if you can't tell where the track is?).
Huh?
@@202015spongebob this guy is just being an elitist never mind this person's opinion
?? Bro what?
..Having a racing line isn't bad??
You can call it whatever, but most players (even professionals) use it.
Its something to base yourself off, and modify as you see needed to gain spots.
