Ahora voy a saber los titulos de casi todas las canciones Disco que he escuchado en mi vida, desde mi infancia en los 80 hasta ahora. Gracias SRG, podrías hacer una lista de estas canciones en Spotify por favor??❤🇨🇱
There were some non disco artists who attempted at least one disco type song you missed, like Miss You by The Rolling Stones, Another One Bites The Dust by Queen, The Core by Eric Clapton, Let's Dance by David Bowie.
In addition to this wonderful music, 70s clothing is the best. It seemed for the first time that people enjoyed what they were wearing. God, that is ABBA, save the bell-bottoms.
Thank you sir for a very long compilation. Can't imagine how much time you invested in putting this together. This is pretty far from where I stand musically but it did remind me of a couple of things. Boney M was created by the same guy who made Milli Vanilli (and in both case... the male singers were lip syncing). The Thelma Houston song 'Don't Leave Me This Way' must be one of those eternal hit songs? It's timeless. I knew it from a version by Jimmy Somerville & The communards. (Really bizarre and creepy video). Would The brother's Johnson - Strawberry Letter 23 qualify as disco? Thank you again for the amount of work put into this.
I, too, like how the BeeGees had a lot of entries in this listing. It really shows the reason why radio stations back then were having no BeeGees Weekends.
I'm surprised at how many I even recognized [end of my radio listening days]. For all the talk of Donna Summer - I didn't recognize even one of her 'hits'. The other surprise - former R&R hits done in Disco style that I hardly knew it was the same song - if not for the words. Thank you. It's always fun to remember the music from back then.
Great video! Dance and electronic music is one of my guilty pleasure genres, including disco music, which was one of the music genres I grew up with! Thanks so much for this list. Knew 95% of them but every now and again, one would pop in that I haven't heard since those days. Pang of memories and nostalgia. :)
German born early 70s here, I grew up with this, still love it. And then had my teenage years in the 80s which were also pretty good. Best period was the transition 78-82, with the end of disco and the beginning of hip hop. Just a shame we didn’t have Soul Train on TV.
Grandes canciones inolvidables. Yo nací en 1994 y recuerdo que en los 2000s siempre hacia berrinche para ver vh1 Classic y mtv retro...y bailaba feliz con esta música.
Love it !:)✨ kung fu dancing came out the year I was born 💜my older sister had a crush on Andy💘 and I think she rollerskated to this tunes🛼 i like rock with you, good times and huge fan of Frankie valli and ABBA🩵 spectacular job, some random guy✌️💖🤩
Music is still awesome for anyone today; you just got old and thus started to get out of touch with newer music. Everyone has been saying this since Beethoven first became popular.
I would include on list also: Silver Connection-Fly Robin Fly Claudia Berry-Boogie Woogie dancing shoes Anita Ward-You can ring my bell Dee D. Jackson -S.O.S for love Otawan-D.I.S.C.O
I remember my older sister getting a bunch of these songs on 45's back in the 70's. "Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman)' you couldn't even have a title of a song like that today in this messed up PC world lol.
That was fun! Lots of classics and some interesting lesser-known tracks. Makes you want to get up and dance. I still love Stacy Lattisaw's hairdo, and Sarah Brightman has sure come a long way from "I Lost my Heart to a Starship Trooper."
Disco did not suck! And here's another handful of great tunes that haven't been mentioned. Change - Searching, G.Q. - Disco Nights, Oliver Cheatham- Get Down Saturday night, Loleatta Holloway - Runaway, Dreaming, Archie Bell and the drells- Soul City Walk. There are still loads more, you could probably do another 500!
[moved from reply to pinned comment] Rocking list... Queen of Clubs from KC and the Sunshine Band, #7 in the UK, is a missing one that stands out, but that's a quibble at best. I appreciate the work involved. This is the sort of list I'd put on an ipod for a roadtrip up the west coast [of the US]... I probably own at least 50% of these so wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to add the rest. As a teenager in the Northeast [UK] we would have Ottawan's DISCO on the radio as we sped to a night club out in the sticks. Except rather than the way the song goes Dee Eye Ess etc [DISCO] we would do the child pronunciation of [Dih Ih Sih Co Ohh]. Arms and legs stuck out of the windows. Not a care in the world [or a seat belt!]...
For me the classic disco era was from 1974 - 1982 beginning with gloria gaynor "never can say goodbye" to say imagination "just an illusion" but there are tons of other songs like shalamar "a night to remember"
Lots of great tunes in that list ... what about Linda Clifford "Bridge Over Troubled Water"? 🤔 that's not there and was a more popular disco-dance song than "Shoot Your Best Shot".
I love this THE some random guy... I didn't know that Jay-Jay Johnson's song "atomic lover" (2002) was a cover... Dee D. Jackson - "Automatic Lover" (1978)... Who not subscribed?! Subscribe!
That deserves a list of honorable mentions: Dschingis Khan - Dschingis Khan; Moskau John Lennon: Wherever gets you through the light Wings: Silly love song; Don't say goodbye tonight Kool & the Gang: Fresh The Rolling Stones: Miss you 👇

Dude. The song is QUITE LITERALLY a disco song. It’s in the style of disco. Just because a song is making fun of disco doesn’t mean it isn’t disco. It even says that “Disco Duck” is a *satirical disco novelty song.*

@@HaydenU Yes, I thought why not start at the end of the alphabet for once.
Some Random guy, you're still the best!! Just Some Random Girl who still loves your channel!! Thank you for it!! 💃🏻🎶🤍🪽
I might be a 1990s kid, but both my parents loves Disco Music, and I literally knew half the list by heart or by name!
Grew up grooving on them!
In addition to this wonderful music, 70s clothing is the best. It seemed for the first time that people enjoyed what they were wearing. God, that is ABBA, save the bell-bottoms.
I love how the Bee Gees dominated this list. They're the first band that spring to mind when you hear the word "Disco."
It's Abba who break barriers
@@lexkanyima2195Not just the Bee Gees or Abba, but Donna Summer too!! This was the time to be alive and to boogie!! Whoohoo!! 💃🏻🎶
And The O’Jays are practically the black Bee Gees that’s how much I love them both
Boney M and Earth,Wind and Fire scream dusco to me ❤
They were iconic during the disco era. Which is funny because they were one of the most popular bands during the British Invasion in the 1960’s.
You're on your Game sir, and Black Box in there somewhere too and the Buggles from what I remember!
I'm a a 90's baby/early 2000's kid, but I know all the songs since ever. Seems like the radios of my country never let go all these music =)
Which country is that?
I love most of this songs born in 1998. Just love the sound of disco. Donna Summer is one of my most favourite artists.
@@starkillerab1582 Guatemala. We have a lot of Retro radios here.
Same ❤️❤️❤️

I, too, like how the BeeGees had a lot of entries in this listing. It really shows the reason why radio stations back then were having no BeeGees Weekends.
Another Pure CLASS Collection, one after another, every single one Brilliant!
Im a child of the 70s and Teen of the 80s and this compilation is🔥🔥🔥 fantastic
Disco is criminally underrated!
Ridiculous how many of these I remember... I was a child of the 60s...
Wonderful songs you picked for this playlist!! I love music from the 1970's. Heck, I love disco.😊😊
Since obviously it’s so hard to fit 200 disco and funk songs into this list, here are 266 MORE singles that were missing or that could have been included, in the style of disco, dance and funk! These songs are also from the years circa 1974-1982.

In conclusion, this should be about 312 more disco, funk, and post-disco songs circa 1974-1982. Hope this helps!
Another disco songs that I remember:
Cher - Hell on Wheels
Celi Bee - Macho (A Real, Real One)
Clout - Under Fire
Dschinghis Khan - Moskau
Lipps Inc. - Designer Music
D.D. Sound - She's Not a Disco Lady
Greetings from Peru!
Wow what a video ! :) I'm from Quebec in Canada ! And almost all the songs there were popular back in time. Great songs, thank you man :)
Fantastic selection! Only recently discovered your channel and its nice to be reminded of tracks that I haven't heard for 40 or 50 years.
Hope you had a great Day. 💕
Love your Videos. ❣️
Greetings from Germany. 💞
❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍
🎉Thankyou SRG for yet another brilliant playlist, absolutely love these songs, it was a great time growing up dancing to this music. ❤
You certainly pulled out all the stops on this compilation 😊terrific music, when music was music 🎶 👌 thanks for this SRG 🎉
Thanks so much for this list. Knew 95% of them but every now and again, one would pop in that I haven't heard since those days. Pang of memories and nostalgia. :)
Donna summer really dominated this list..i was born in the 90s but i fell in love with this sounds.. i grew up listening to it through my dad...
I for one was heartbroken when disco came to an end. Drinking 3.2 beer and dancing the night away at The Pub in Aurora Colorado.
Very good video selection. Amazing!!!
Waouh ! MERCI pour cette excellente compilation, que du bonheur ! 👏👌👍
I ❤ KC and the Sunshine Band 🌞
German born early 70s here, I grew up with this, still love it.
And then had my teenage years in the 80s which were also pretty good.
Best period was the transition 78-82, with the end of disco and the beginning of hip hop.
Just a shame we didn’t have Soul Train on TV.
There’s my jr high playlist. 😂 Such great stuff.
As always, thanks for for bringing it all back to me.
Good job as always 😊
Hopefully a triple CD compilation with all these songs. The '70s will be the biggest decade in dance music. And quality music.
I need this to be an actual playlist. Such wonderful music. I 🪩 DISCO! ❤️🔥🎶
Grandes canciones inolvidables.
Yo nací en 1994 y recuerdo que en los 2000s siempre hacia berrinche para ver vh1 Classic y mtv retro...y bailaba feliz con esta música.
The best kind of music!!!
Very nice, thanks!👍👍👍
Definitely Thelma Houston's hit is for me the greatest ✨Disco ✨ song EVER ❤
That was awesome!!!!
Another disco video like this came out on my birth month? I feel like I have a good luck charm for stuff like this 😍😍😍
do HI nrg, euro disco, euro dance, trance, ambient, RNB, funk, soul etc. well done amazing
The very best of the music😍😍😍🙌
Top list
Back when music was awesome...
Music is still awesome for anyone today; you just got old and thus started to get out of touch with newer music. Everyone has been saying this since Beethoven first became popular.
I would include on list also:
Silver Connection-Fly Robin Fly
Claudia Berry-Boogie Woogie dancing shoes
Anita Ward-You can ring my bell
Dee D. Jackson -S.O.S for love
Otawan-D.I.S.C.O
I remember my older sister getting a bunch of these songs on 45's back in the 70's. "Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman)' you couldn't even have a title of a song like that today in this messed up PC world lol.
Ojalá un triple CD recopilatorio con todos estos temas. Los años 70 serán la década más grande en la música de baile. Y música de calidad.
Donna Summer and the Bee Gees
1975 - 1982, best dance ever! 👍
From "that's the way" K.C. & the Sunshine Band, to "thriller" Michael Jackson.
Thriller wasn’t in this list although it would fit in quite well. The many Michael Jackson songs were from Off the Wall and prior
That was fun! Lots of classics and some interesting lesser-known tracks. Makes you want to get up and dance. I still love Stacy Lattisaw's hairdo, and Sarah Brightman has sure come a long way from "I Lost my Heart to a Starship Trooper."
Good
Muy buena selección de canciones.
I wore a white sweatshirt because Andy Gibb did. 🤭
Love this!
Those were the days, dude!

Rocking list...
Had no idea Bony M. had so many Hits.
I came here to say the same. 😂
Excelentes....por que no sabia que existian😊
For me the classic disco era was from 1974 - 1982 beginning with gloria gaynor "never can say goodbye" to say imagination "just an illusion" but there are tons of other songs like shalamar "a night to remember"
Saturday Night - Bay City Rollers belongs in this great list!
Amazing epoque😍😍😍😍😍👍
Non ne scarto una 👍 super like
Lots of great tunes in that list ... what about Linda Clifford "Bridge Over Troubled Water"? 🤔
that's not there and was a more popular disco-dance song than "Shoot Your Best Shot".
Barry White, Donna Summer and the Bee Gees owned that era!
Ty Królu mój… 😎🤫
I love this THE some random guy... I didn't know that Jay-Jay Johnson's song "atomic lover" (2002) was a cover... Dee D. Jackson - "Automatic Lover" (1978)... Who not subscribed?! Subscribe!
The Freedom Land of the seventies.
That deserves a list of honorable mentions:
Dschingis Khan - Dschingis Khan; Moskau
John Lennon: Wherever gets you through the light
Wings: Silly love song; Don't say goodbye tonight
Kool & the Gang: Fresh
The Rolling Stones: Miss you
👇
The Weather Girls: It's raining men
Tina Charles: I gotta dance with you
Clout: Under fire
Además de esta música maravillosa, la ropa de los 70 es lo más. Parecía por primera vez que la gente disfrutaba de lo que se ponía. Dios, o sea ABBA, salve a los pantalones de campana. 😂
VIVA A ERA DISCO 🥳🎉🎶🎵💿
Shiny disco balls
Earth Wind & Fire and Kool and the Gang ❤❤❤🧡🧡💛💛
Is the great zambiepier on here?
(I'd politely volunteer "I'm so excited" as a glaring omission... )
I think that was post-disco
❤❤❤great
Really incredible some random guy, very long video😂😂😂😂 very bored long video i like short videos, king of upload youtuber videos
🎧🥁🥁🥁❤️👍🏴
People really lived in the moment during those time, because Almost every song is about going dancing at a disco, doing drugs and having $ex.
so the songs are sorted from Z to A
The fabulous Bee Gees
Missing: A la carte, Arabesque, Luv', Maywood, Snoopy
There's only 5 members in Village People , not 6 !
The front man, the cowboy, the construction worker, the native, the biker, the serviceman. Amazing that I remember that after 45 years.
The serviceman doesn't exist in my history
Anda la osa papá... ah jajajaja.
(sin darme cuenta, casi toda mi secundaria escuchadba la gran mayoría de canciones de este video. No sabía que era disco)
Quite a lot of these, especially Barry White, are more soul than disco
Boogie was the "word" bavk then ;)
i still think KC is a time travelling ashton kutcher
Lots of good tunes here. But there is a lot of garbage as well.
It’s a shame Boney M never made it in the US.
Boney M WERE popular in the U.S., but not to the same degree as in Europe.
Disco Duck!
Xanadu doesn't fit here, it's much more than a disco song, it can't be compared to the rest.
Faltan Anita Ward..Karen Young..Celi bee., Jackie, Foxy, DD SOUND..JOE BATTAN..DAVID NAUGHTON , THE LOVE MACHINE..DAVID LONDON..Y MUCHOS MÁS ,SI YO SUPIERA CÓMO CREAR UNA PÁGINA ,COMPARTIRÍA INNUMERABLES TEMAS DE LOS ,70'S Y 80'S..TANTO DISCO CÓMO POP ,ROCK.ETC..
HOT SHOT DE KAREN YOUNG..MESTIZO DE JOE BATTAN..AMÉRICA DE THE TWO MAN SOUND..DISCO MACHO DE CELI BEE..UNDER FIRE DE JACKIE....SHOPPING BABY DE D,D,SOUND..MAKIN,IT DE DAVID NAUGHTON..ETC
Disco Duck wasn't a disco song... it was a song making fun of disco music.
Dude. The song is QUITE LITERALLY a disco song. It’s in the style of disco. Just because a song is making fun of disco doesn’t mean it isn’t disco. It even says that “Disco Duck” is a *satirical disco novelty song.*
questa e musica non quella che c e adesso .........a io l ascolto ancora adesso ......
Obviously not U.S. specific since I hardly recognize any of these.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥹✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻💙💛❤️🎸
No doubt Donna Summer was the Queen Of Disco in the 70’s!!!!!!!!!
Los 80?
Por q todo repetido
444
To much Europe.
