Hey can you link replacement parts like the fan and actual fly wheel?

I did exactly what you did when trying to remove mine but my flywheel never came loose do you have to use something with a wide diameter like you’re piece of wood?

Not nessicarly, you just need to put pressure on the back of the flywheel so that when you hit it with a hammer, the tension from the back and the impact will knock it free. There are a whole bunch of ways you could do that in the video. I use the wood to create tension, but you could also use a pry bar. The only issue when using a pry bar is not damaging the block. So make sure to use a strong portion of the block or use something to protect it. Another thing to consider is rust. I've seen on some motors that it can be tricky to get the flywheels off because of the amount of rust. So if you have like some penetrative fluid, put some fluid in between the treads and the flywheel. That should help free it up. Even if their isn't rust, you could also try fluid as well. Let me know if you need clarity on anything I said or if you have any other questions.

On my brand new 212 there’s a screw that came loose inside and was rolling around near the flywheel. Any idea on where it coulda came from?

It may have come from the flywheel shroud on the front, right side of the motor.

Do you not have to hold the other side of the shaft when you go to tighten it back up?

sir it is pointless if you change the flywheel and ignition coil to racing coil and racing flywheel if you dont change the carb? what gives the engine more power the carburetor or the racing flywheel or the racing ignition coil

i have genuine questions because i am still learning . i am ordering a 10krpm flywheel do you reccomend getting the ignition coil also? and do you also think that upgrading the connecting rod and springs will help with hp (i already have a jetted carb

I would start with the flywheel for safety reasons. You don't want the stock cast iron one to explode once you start running higher rpms.

@user-cc1tm1bh7w once you start adding more hp, you want to upgrade your engine parts such as your connecting rod, flywheel, carburetor, etc. Just to make sure that nothing blows apart on you.

If you got a business card, that's a perfect gap for your coil. Their is not a certain way to install the flywheel. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Troll... why don't you show how you stabilized the flywheel before hitting it with that socket? Why edit that part out? Does your sponsor sell the part you'll damage doing that in the wrong spot?
