For me it's no surprise that MasterChef Canada is by far my favorite. Back in my touring days playing music, I got to travel a little across Canada. It's not only epically beautiful, but the people were so amazing as well. This version of MasterChef kinda represents the way I feel and remember their wonderful country. I hope to get back up there someday.

If this was Hell's Kitchen, the contestants would never admit that their rivals' food was good. That's why I love Masterchef Canada. The contestants treat each other like friends or friendly rivals instead of hated enemies
my stepdad was from El Salvador. When he married my mom he introduced her to Central American food and flavors (she’s South American) But my all-time favorite addition from his country is Loroco. It’s a flower bud we can buy frozen here in the US. It’s a delicious rich herbal basil-ey flavor. It’s a staple in ALL of our tomato-based dishes now, especially our house favorite red pasta sauce.
Definitely try some ravioli! It is a great next step and you can’t go wrong with a good cheese filling! I bet you will find yourself making complex pasta dishes in no time at all!

Thea is such a one trick pony, She literally appeared in this video more than anyone else. All she makes is Italian and Mexican cuisines, Shouldn’t have made it to the finals in any season, idc if her flavours are great. A Masterchef should be able to understand international cuisine
