I didn’t really like Miranda’s character all too much in the show, but this really proves that if she needs to get serious in a challenge she will do her best. She was very talkative towards the customers and kept a lot of people flowing to Green team, ultimately winnin by 8 quarters. I’m impressed and I have a different view of her now
The problem with Miranda is that she can get way too ahead of herself at times, which is clearly demonstrated in the new Canadian feast challenge where she dictated literally everything and the 5-ingredient challenge where she completely screws up her flank steak and gets eliminated. She lets the power get to her and it doesn't really reflect her more fun and quirky side. She seems like the kind of person who always wants things to go her way, considering she wanted the final say in every dish as team captain and continuously complained about being out of her element throughout the competition. The irony is just so strong when she gets eliminated while finally being in her element, according to her, at least.

you can't have a medium-rare burger, it's made from ground beef. originally, it,s a cut of meat, but as it gets mushed up the bacteria get inside. However, on a steak, the piece of meat stays intact, therefore the bacteria cannot burrow inside. This is the reason it's ok to have medium-rare steak, but not medium-rare burgers.

I think that Aron should've been a bit more considerate because he's cooking burgers, not a steak. Most people enjoy a well done burger because it just shows more of the meaty flavour and in my opinion a burger should always be well done to medium well
At the very least Miranda and Justine got along a bit better by the end of this challenge. Justine even admitted that she felt that Miranda redeemed herself from where she didn't work as well as a team player in the previous challenge. Obviously, I doubt they're best friends. But I reckon they're at least acquantances with no hard feelings. Perhaps even good ones.

This kind of gives a great example of something I've said more than a few times. If you are wanting to be a Chef, or even running a kitchen. There is nothing more important than learning how to be in the trenches. That takes team work, and a skill you just can't get over night. Making a fancy dish is one thing, and yes I do like to see something new, and bold from time to time. But if you can't pound out 50 of those dishes in a shift, and know how to work with everyone to get that done. you won't have a spot on my team. Although to be true, a lot of people, especially those coming from culinary school, are not really taught combat training. That's a term only the best of line cooks know. it's not for every one. In a situation at some great B&B places or others where is reservation only and limited seating, then yeah, take your time to do your thing. But if your restaurant is in a populated place where you need to make a lot of dishes. That team work is more valuable than anything. But that's just my thing.
With the complaints on the red teams burgers being “underdone”, Aaron is right, not everyone likes it medium. Solution to that would be designating a grill or at least part of one to well done burgers and then the rest being medium and so on, feedback is important but listening to it is just as!
The unsalted meat in the beginning of the clip was a weird thing to complain about, salts breaks down proteins in the beef and leads to a chewier less tender burger, any good chef would know to salt your meat right before it hits heat.

Quick proof that God is real: if there is a building that you see, but you don’t know who built it, then the logical sense is to assume that a builder built it, and it didn’t just show up out of nowhere. If there is painting, then that’s proof that there’s a painter who made that painting even if they have passed away a long time ago. So, if we have creation- Earth, the sky, grass, flowers, animals, us, etc, then isn’t the logical sense to assume there is a creator?
Have you ever used God’s name in vain-like a cuss word, lied, stolen, hated someone, gossiped, lusted, etc(see more in the 10 commandments)? This is called sin and we’ve all done at least one of these. Now, sin is basically doing something against God’s will. Now because we have done something against His will, it’s good to note that He is Just. A JUST judge wouldn’t look at a guilty criminal and give them a non-guilty verdict for what they’ve done. And if the Judge is Just, they wouldn’t let the criminal go if they had said that they had done something Good. Our actions are way more serious and cannot be paid off of just because I did something Good. (So good works cannot save us) This is exactly How God is! He’s so just that He looks at us, and He has to send us to hell. Scary right? But HERE’S THE GOOD NEWS!! Usually, there is bail- a payment that someone can do for a guilty criminal so that they can be set free- legally. Now here’s JESUS, who is GOD and takes our place for us THROUGH DYING ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS- to basically pay off the price that sin created. If we believe in Jesus and repent (turn away from sin) then we will be saved from our punishment. But we must continue this relationship with Jesus!
It's a sales and money challenge and you decide to have "made to order food"? The red team deserved to lose. Trevor and Thea are usually so smart they should have guided Aaron on how utterly stupid that strategy is.
This proves that every team member needs to be a strong cook to win. Red team having both Trevor and Thea ( Winner and Runner-up) was failing because of Aaron who made weird decisions.

@@phiphi2209 Yeah, his biggest mistake was his idea of quality over quantity. A good burger doesn't need to be over complicated to be great. That bit them in end.
I liked the idea doing to order. As a chef it is satisfying to you, and to customer from your point of view as he/she gets complete fully juiced burger, but yeah, in THIS case, he should have thought of numbers aswell

I think that Aron should've been a bit more considerate because he's cooking burgers, not a steak. Most people enjoy a well done burger because it just shows more of the meaty flavour and in my opinion a burger should always be well done to medium well

At the very least Miranda and Justine got along a bit better by the end of this challenge.
Justine even admitted that she felt that Miranda redeemed herself from where she didn't work as well as a team player in the previous challenge. Obviously, I doubt they're best friends. But I reckon they're at least acquantances with no hard feelings. Perhaps even good ones.

This kind of gives a great example of something I've said more than a few times. If you are wanting to be a Chef, or even running a kitchen. There is nothing more important than learning how to be in the trenches. That takes team work, and a skill you just can't get over night. Making a fancy dish is one thing, and yes I do like to see something new, and bold from time to time. But if you can't pound out 50 of those dishes in a shift, and know how to work with everyone to get that done. you won't have a spot on my team. Although to be true, a lot of people, especially those coming from culinary school, are not really taught combat training. That's a term only the best of line cooks know. it's not for every one. In a situation at some great B&B places or others where is reservation only and limited seating, then yeah, take your time to do your thing. But if your restaurant is in a populated place where you need to make a lot of dishes. That team work is more valuable than anything. But that's just my thing.

With the complaints on the red teams burgers being “underdone”, Aaron is right, not everyone likes it medium. Solution to that would be designating a grill or at least part of one to well done burgers and then the rest being medium and so on, feedback is important but listening to it is just as!

The unsalted meat in the beginning of the clip was a weird thing to complain about, salts breaks down proteins in the beef and leads to a chewier less tender burger, any good chef would know to salt your meat right before it hits heat.
