    Looks great 👍🏼 - I made cassava pone for the first time in years last week and I forgot about the “blobs” of butter on top. I remembered watching you do so now. Gotta remember the next time - thanks for the reminder

    This is the next of my favorite but because of diabetes I don’t make it anymore
    Just looking I feel satisfied like I had a taste
    You are an incredible cook and baker
    I don’t make too many desserts only if any of my family visit
    But since I moved away my daughter don’t eat a lot of sweet
    Thank you for posting all your delicious dishes 😍

      You replace the sugar with a brown sugar substitute like Splenda Allulose that does not spike blood sugar. I as well have diabetes but I love my cake so it work in replacement

    Hi Nadi, I used your recipe, so far it came out great.
    I ate it hot, so it was gooey on the inside. By tomorrow it will be set better.
    I was told to add a piece of pumpkin 🎃, by an old but beautiful Aunty from Trinidad.
    That's the only thing I added differently.
    But overall it was the same recipe.

      Thank you Sherene for your awesome feedback. My husband is from Trinidad and his sister made it once and she added pumpkin. It was good. I yet have to try it out. Have a wonderful blessed evening.💜💜

      Thank you.
      Keep me posted when you taste it with the pumpkin, really just a small amount.
      I came out Great, I like it gummy on the inside. I left in 15 minutes longer. Next time I will stick to the hour.

    Cassava pone is suppose to be sweet, not acid. Use the ginger and leave the black pepper out

    • @Sabitasingh11234
      @Sabitasingh11234 7 месяцев назад +1

      A little bit of the black pepper can go in

    • @MOE-gm3si
      @MOE-gm3si 23 дня назад

      I think black pepper is the classic way it's made. I love lots of it and it is sweet when I make it. It's a personal taste and can be left out. It's kind of like people adding pumpkin. I've never had it with it but I think it would taste great.
