So far you have been the only one that explains how to make the cassava pudding properly and for me to understand it looks delicious. Thank you for sharing. I wish I was eating it too. Looks delicious.
Hi Nadi good seeing you again the cassava cake looks moist and delicious I am definitely going to try this recipe never had this before I hope you and your family are keeping good
My friend that is surly mouthwatering and I’m sure the viewers will try this recipe I love it 🥰 only I can’t have these goodness but if someone gives me just a tiny bit I would be enjoying it You are always trying out different things I love it
Because of poverty cassava cake was made differently in my part of the Philippines. Bare minimum. Just grated fresh cassava , brown sugar, a pinch of salt could enhance flavor but not that even. Lacking imagination and flavor. Wrapped in banana leaves stuffed into a kerosene can , boiled in water on woodfire. As a child I grew up with that sweet treat. Now cassava cake has become sophisticated and delicious . Thanks for sharing your version.
I have eaten cassava pone but first time I am having cassava cake. I was surprised with d texture and taste. As d old saying goes “this one take d cake”. Thank u sweetheart enjoying every piece
This looks so delicious and mouth watering . I will definitely try to make it hopefully it comes out as delicious as yours , This was one of Mom’s favorite dessert ❤️🙏 Thanks for sharing 😘
This is an amazing recipe Nadi, I never tried it with cheese, but hey, you've just released a succulent piece of dessert, that I'll definitely give a try. Thanks so much for this idea
I never squeeze out the water and I add coconut strings - I also use vanilla extract- really makes it yummy. I find there is no reason to add butter. I coat my pan with butter .
I like the way you done this by squeezing out the excess liquid from the cassava, but two things I missed, the salt and spice,it's great but how much sugar I can used instead of the condensed milk
Hi,I just saw your recipe I am making it now ....I'll see how it will come out though I revised the recipe I use allulose for white sugar and swerve for brown instead of regular sugar and for condensed milk I use a Kremesada for less sugar content...
My daughter and I watched your video. She was curious about the addition of cheese in the cake. What does it add to the flavor or the experience of this cake? Thanks
Hi Dekya, I baked it at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 45 mins.. After topping bake again at 350 degree Fahrenheit for another 20 mins. Timing may vary. Once you see the crust is nice and golden brown then it’s good.. thank you so much 💜
Nadi please tell me how did you prepare the frozen cassava ... Did you defrost them first then mashed them up with a fork or blender or were you able to just grate them while still frozen??? HOW!!! Its easy for fresh cassava but I don't have a clue about frozen cassava
Hi April, you can definitely use the frozen cassava. They usually have the grated frozen packs. Let it defrost and squeeze the liquid out. You can then mix everything in. You can also use the fresh cassava and grate them. Either way works fine. Thank you so much 💜
@@NadisKitchen1 sorry again chef.... would you mind explaining how to prepare the frozen WHOLE cassava as you cant buy the frozen shredded cassava here in the UK??? I've never cooked with cassava before so would prefer to buy it frozen. What i really need to know is can you grate the frozen cassava or do you need to defrost it before grating it ??? Thanks once more

Looks delicious - I’ve never added the cheese on top but I see the Filipino cuisine does. I guess the sweet and salty combo is yummy 😋

Like your additions will definitely try that. But how do you prepare the frozen cassava???
Casava water is a poison. It should boil & reove or freshly remove water
i do the same but instead of evap i put all purpose cream
@@ninamartinez9228 I don’t put cheese in it either . I like it as a dessert , putting in cheese is kinda weird .
@@hamsa0123 I haven’t done that in 50 years, and I’m still alive .
