The issue was fixed by replacing the Transfer
Control Module & the 4wd switch.
I only spent $97
These are the steps that I took to diagnose the problem:
( remember , start with the easiest )
1-Checking the Ground wire.
2-Checking the fuses
3-checking the Module and switch.
if all those things are ok, and the switch is stuck on
2HI or 4wd than it may be the Transfer Case Shift Motor .
I hope this video will be useful to some people.
and Good luck

Yes, I read that the battery should be disconnected.

My light on auto 4wd stays on and it says service 4wd. Feels like im stuck in 4wd cant tell which gear
When you first stared the truck would the lights on the switch come on and then go off ?
In my case it was no lights on the switch because it was not functioning and I had to replace it as well
Light OverdoZ I disconnected my battery over night and now it’s working fine. But idk when it’ll do it again
@@krcoutdoors4566 check your ground wire
Light OverdoZ I did the problem happened again but this time it went in neutral and now won’t shift into 4high or low
@@krcoutdoors4566 that sounds like the control Module...but before doing anything ,get a wire brush or a grinder and clean where the ground wire goes...sometimes rust and dirt infect the function
Is it diesel or gas
Gas
