    those k turcks are well known for rust buildup under the ft wheel speed sensors and lifting away from reluctor. gm has bulletins on this....gm also know for terminal fretting.....good vid

      Thanks for the tip. I'm aware of the speed sensor rust jacking situation. Fixed dozens. Most of the time the sensor won't come out to clean it as per the bulletin. Also if its not an OEM wheel bearing some speed sensors are different lengths too so I usually just recommend to replace the whole wheel bearing assembly.

    I haven an 03 sierra 2500hd 8.1 gas, the 4x4 high sounds like engaging feels locked but the front tires won't spin. I have no service light or anything.

      Likely a problem with the front axle disconnect. You should hear the actuator motor run on the right side of the front differential when switching in and out of 4wd.

      @ I can hear the actuator, the front axel seems like it locks because when I have it in 2wd I can move it and when I put in 4x4 it locks. Would it be the transfer case? Big money to fix is it's the problem.

      @Sanriago98 I've seen a broken right inner axle sub shaft cause that. Try putting it in 4wd and park. Lift the right front wheel off the ground. Try to spin the wheel by hand. It should not turn. If it does then the axle is not locked, inner axle shaft spline is stripped or broken. Usually if the chain in the transfer case breaks it grenades or makes some noise. Also have seen the spline strip on a cv shaft joint. Good luck

    How could i get a copy of the schematics for the plugs at the tccm that you used?

      Try Alldatadiy.com. it's very reasonable in my opinion

    How much voltage is the tccm suppose to see ?

    • @PhillipBailey
      @PhillipBailey  2 года назад

      Should have full voltage from that 30 amp fuse. Unless you mean on the serial data circuit in which case you need a lab scope to see the approximate 7volt square wave.

    Put in a brand new actuator and for wheel drive switch.
    All the fuses are great. plugged in the new switch and the lights all came on but it would not go into 4 real drive and none of the Lights came on after the first flashing. Still no 4 WD. Just 2 WD

      Did you ever figure this out by chance?

      Only use OEM for the actuator. It doesn't pay to buy after market. It would have worked with replacing all the other items!

    Wow okay I have the same problem I was told it's either the 30 amp on the dash the 30 amp in the firewall the actuator motor or the switch I'll tell you another thing you won't be tearing my truck apart like that to fix it and if you do get better look like nothing ever happened holy cow
