    Roberto speaks the truth guys. Don't sell yourself short. 5 figure deals aren't far fetched. For instance, I had a brand that wanted me to refrain from promoting competitors for 3 months before and after their video... So that's a 6 month time frame that I couldn't put up content for companies like Ninja (one of my main views and income Generators). Also you have to take into account the amount of work you're putting in, and what they would pay to have a similar job done through an ad company, which would have far less reach than a content creator would. In that case, my price was $40k since you have to figure in lost income from other brand content. It seems like a lot, but it's not, given what they are asking you to sacrifice. Don't under sell yourselves.

    I have the problem that many in my niche don't want to spend money on advertising- they just want to give free products. So I'm currently trying to figure out how to find a brand to partner with that is outside of my niche (but related and appealing to my audience) and that is actually willing to pay. :s
    Love your videos. A goldmine as always!

      @RobertoBlake aside from affiliate earnings, not to my knowledge. I am one of the biggest influencers in my space and can't land a partnership within my niche that pays. Gifted or reduced? Sure. Money in the pocket? No such luck. 😕

    Hey Roberto, this is some great advice with a lot of parallels to freelancing! I'd like to know... what is your definition of "small RUclipsr"? Like, when should you start reaching out to brands? I've heard people say 10K followers minimum, maybe 5K for educational content in very niche areas (unless of course, you have doctor / lawyer / Olympic athlete etc. kind of credibility)

    • @RobertoBlake
      @RobertoBlake  Месяц назад +4

      If you’re doing UGC, reach out with strong samples of your portfolio and don’t worry about size.
      If you’re trying to get sponsored for mentions on your channel… if you don’t have a lot of reach, you need to be able to prove ROI, or be the right representation for the campaign…
      It wouldn’t hurt to be at a minimum of 5000 to 10,000 if you want an offer that doesn’t feel insulting for the effort you’re putting in…

    I've had brand deal offers but they always want to offer like $100 for a full vid which I know is bogus. I've had GFuel contact me about a brand deal and I thought it was great. I said yes, as they sent a contract and offered $2K but they never got back to me. I'm nearing 52K followers but I have no clue what my worth is. Anyone's suggestion besides Roberto's would be highly appreciated. Btw, thanks for the video this was very helpful. I've learned so much from you. 💸
