- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic! Today I am attempting to speed build 3 flying vehicles within 3 different time constraints, 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 30 minutes. How different will they be?

This gave me an idea for Multiplayer Monday: build flyers with explosives on them and race through hoops or even some caves and tunnels
I think that would work well in trailmakers because then it would be easier to make a flyer.

Idea for the next Multiplayer Monday... I rewatchet your co-op franken trike video and that made me think... If you have 4 people next time,try building each a section of a car and then get 5 or so minutes to assemble those 4 pieces to a car and take those cars to race against each other

For flying and swimming stuff trailmakers is clearly superior. I would love to see you make automatic -v-tol jet in trailmakers.

He didn't make a vtol jet but he did make an osprey, which is basically a vtol

@@meoremeryaiman3714 It is a VTOL, it doesn't have to be jet powered to be a VTOL, even helicopters are VTOL.
doesn't VTOL mean Vertical Take Off and Landing? So, if it can do those, it's a VTOL.
Great video scrapman, you've done land ✔, air ✔ now ur next video should be the sea 1 minutes 5 minutes & 30 minutes build challenge.

Damn, I thought this was a multiplayer-monday! I hope this turns into a Multiplayer Monday! Build a scrap-mechanic flyer in that amount of time, then race with it on an obstacle race with moving obstacles. The build stages being 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes. And you have to start with a blank slate every time, and you're allowed to spawn things in, but just to look at them (i.e. for setting up a controller, or something). Suspension-stabilizers allowed, but limited to the number of minutes and capped at 5 (limited to maximum 5). Maybe have each stage twice, once with suspension-steering, and once without suspension-steering.

I loved this idea for a video. Seeing the evolution is like a progression map to help me learn how scrap mechanic physics works.
I cant tell you how satisfying I find the micro adjustments look, pressing all the buttons on the 30 min creation in the grand canyon bit.
I love the video; the next 1 minute, 5 minute, 30-minute video should be a sea based video, either a boat or submarine. Keep up the great work!!!!!

In the 30 minutes buod there is the background music that you usually use in trailmakers, i am so used to hear it on trailmakers that it hit me weird this time lol, anyway great video as always
This is neat! I think I've only ever seen this format with 10 second, 1 minute, and 10 minutes, but that wouldn't work too well for a whole Scrap Mechanic vehicle. It might be too similar to this video, but I'd be interested in seeing a different kind of flier done this way: propeller planes (using one of the wings mods)... ;)
Does anyone else just get super chill relaxing vibes from scrapmans solo videos?
I feel like another ScrapMan motto should be: "I didn't try to be in this position, but okay." Cause his dream job is to make epic songs as he is doing now, but he just got into RUclips and is like that meme with the burning house with the dog being like this is fine.

This would be a cool concept for multiplayer Monday where you have only a few minutes to build a drivable vehicle and at checkpoints you get more time to add additional parts to get thought the nest part of the race. Basically an evolution triathlon car/boat/flyer. Something like that.

You should do the 1 minute 5 minute and 10 in trailmakers with submarines on multiplayer Monday that would be cool and you could do like stunts with them and see who is better.
idea in trailmaker: make plane that fly in 2 way( it can goes forward or reverse, its even better if it can switch mid-air)
Fliers is all I've been experimenting with this whole month. Gotta say. A stabiliser glitch can take a rubbish flier. And make it good.
ok so this is dope and you could do that with a tank build, also the vehicle you just made reminded me of the star wars pod racers you guys should make a track or world and you race them for multiplayer Mondays
the next time you do something like this, you should compare the build that took the longest time to a similar creation you've built in the past

Try replicating your general flyer method, except in trailmakers (speed and angle sensors are your friend)

do this type with offroader. place a duck in a box with sensor to measure how high the duck got in while moving in an offroad track. slow but smooth ride with suspension complexity.
that 60 minute flyer would’ve looked better if the thruster flames weren’t there, than it would’ve looked like it was in 0 g

This concept I think could be used for a multiplayer Monday concept, maybe in conjunction with evolution seeing as it naturally needs more time with each phase. Idk you figure it out I just thought it could be used no clue how.

this should be a Multiplayer monday. something like handing over the baton. but the baton is the player itself.
people build a 1 minute flier, then a 5 minute flyer and then a 30 min flier and then race. the thing is, the fliers MUST be placed on the race itself, so you race one part of the track, then jump out from one flier, to mount the second and then you fly towards the 3rd.
all the same tier fliers should be waiting in the same "spot"

You guys should build pod racers and race for the fastest time through the canyon from one end to the other or who ever makes it the furthest, and put explosives on the racers so the explode of you bump a wall

Can you make something like this in Trailmakers? Maybe with planes this time becouse trailmakers as a superior game, has everything you need in raw code to make a flying vehicle.
Superior is questionable. Destructability means that some things are impossible, whilst Scrap Mechanic will break it's own self to attempt to make your dream a reality.
It's more of an apples and oranges situation, to me. One is simple but nearly limitless in it's small scope, and the other is complex with sensible restraint. One breaks hilariously when things go wrong, that's even a theme of building. The other can do *cooler* things, but if you fail, it just breaks your stuff and kills you. Different design, different tastes.

Trailmakers/Scrapmechanic multiplayer suggestion: Do the same with this video for each player and all race through an obstacle course
1 minute, 5 minute, and 30 minute build in Marble World? You could make a repeating track, a ramp into a basket, or maybe like a ferris wheel?

Since you used your 60 second time to include messing with connections I would say tighten the rules because you totally got this.
