    Better than what it was, therefore worth the upgrade if ‘ya can’t afford other options.
    Nice one man! 😂

      For sure, being able to see definitely helps, I may still look at the full led change out, but the bike is nearly of drinking age so it may not be worth throwing too much coin at.

    Hell yeah. When i changed the stock headlight bulbs on my ruckus it made a night and day difference. Pun intended 😂

      +Small Bore & Two Wheels haha the punch is definitely appropriate!! it's an easy upgrade I should have done ages ago.

    There is a pretty big difference between the stock and the new one. Hope you have better luck with it than I did.

    Huge improvement - I went with the eBay special and its better than the stock, but doesn't always give you the confidence. Great Vid anyways!

      It's well and truly worth it, the gopro doesn't do any justice filming at night, but the LED is so much better.

    Hey mate, a couple of things, 1. I believe you can change the throw with those adjustment screws you were talking about at the start if the Vid, (maybe you have already tried this), 2. I was told by a mechanic that the reflector housing is made for halogen globes not LED's therefore you get a different throw (dunno, just what I heard).... Oh, and one more.... I had trouble with the fan housing on the LED being too big, I was able to find one with a smaller fan and housing (Ebay)..... But if yours fits.... then no probs........Cheers

    Definitely see an improvement in brightness. I wonder if you could raise the level up slightly since led lighting has such a sharp cut off point compare to the gradual fade of incandescent/halogen lighting. You might get away with that without copping some oncoming traffic flashing their high-beams at you.
    It’ll also be worth opening up the headlight nacelle after a few rides to see if the heat sink on the led unit isn’t rubbing against the wires or heating up and burning through the insulation. Have seen it happen. Worth checking.

    I told ya its bright but projection aint good unless you use like one of those projection lenses

    • @whatsstefon
      @whatsstefon 2 года назад +2

      Yeah. The main issue is that the reflector is designed for a certain style bulb. The LED module that’s in the assembly in situations like this really needs to be in the perfect position to fit the profile of the parabola of the reflector.

      @@whatsstefon yeh agree. looks like with the projection its alright but the cheap ones are just Leds all round
