Hey Optimistic Bricks! Remember me? The guy that commented " Lucas Decker? Do a yo-yo video. I know it's you." On your biggest Mario sets video and you responded with "Working on one next!"
@@LucasDeckerYoYo I tried lubing one of my bearings with the shields on, but I couldn't get my pin inside of the bearing, should I just take the shields off? or is there another way? (thanks for replying fast on my last comment)
I like to add thick lube to unresponsive yoyos to make them responsive. This way I can do both unresponsive and responsive tricks. It's good for learning unresponsive string tricks bc when you mess up you can just tug it right back to your hand to start over. And you can gradually thin out the lube to make it more unresponsive. Responsive/unresponsive is not binary, it's a gradient.
Can someone please help me I just got a replay pro yoyo and it's supposed to be unresponsive but for some reason it is responsive I've been scouring the internet for answers and cant find a solution. ☹️
@@LucasDeckerYoYo i just cleaned mine and then did the lubing process. before i lubed it it was perfect, but then when a put a tiny bit of lube on it it just because responsive. people said do gyro and i did for an hour and it still did nothing to change. please help
why do you need a bearing? back in my day it was two pieces of plastic stuck together and a string with a loop on it. if you wanted it to spin you put soap or vegetable oil on the loop. this generation is SPOILED!
New Yoyo tricks require more spend time which requires a ball bearing. There are two types of responsive and unresponsive. You need unresponsive for complicated tricks DNA or Godspeed but you need to do to use an unresponsive yo-yo if you want to get it back to your hand responsive it’s more for beginners, which is easier to use. You don’t need to do the bind to get it back to your hand and so new yo-yo champions use unresponsible yo-yos they don’t use old yo-yos

You are just wrecking your bearing
It is supposed to be, you are literally destroying your bearing. And you can’t do, UNRESPONSIVE tricks with a RESPONSIVE yoyo.
