I’ve smoked a lot of weed in that garage
Super sick bro. I want to do the blocks in the back for my tacoma, and I’m looking for a cheap, temporary way to drop the front. Hopefully I can get some lowering springs or coils in there one day.
Can’t wait to see this thing finished
Love it . Seems I could use 2nd gen rear spring hardware to flip 3rd gen axle . Thanks !
Overtime the truck will sit down even further at the springs start to settle…sometimes you make go down too far and not know until it’s too late
What’s your tire setup? Thinking about doing this kit with the ball joint flip. I do want to run 18 inch wheels from a Lexus is350 tire size 225/40/18. Think they’ll fit with this kit?
Hey if you don't mind me asking what's your tire size and is there any rubbing? Been waiting on my package 😜
So u install 2” spring lower in the front?
Wheels, are they 4.5 lug or how u did it? Mine are 4.75, and idk what to do
How much did you cut off of the u bolts? An inch or two?
Whiskey Diesel Parts is top tier
where did you get the blockes from?
Hey were your lowering blocks slanted or flat? Because I bought 4inch blocks for
Mine and they came slanted just wanted to know if I got the right ones before I put them on.
tapered blocks are way better for your pinion angle
Dope sack in top right corner at 8:54
Nut n’ bolt pack
Nice video, what bell tech lowering springs did you get?
The two drop ones from eBay for the 1996 Tacoma
A question out of the tama my steering wheel vibrates a lot what can I do
Go to mechanic or u got bad u joint
Idle air control bad …if that happen park
Can you list all the things your bought for this? It’s beautiful and I’m am gonna do the same I just don’t know where to start

Start here! And if you got old shocks replace them with KYB gas-a-just
Is that a six cylinder taco?
I have 4” lowering blocks in the rear of my 02 taco and 3” lowering springs in the front and I’m not happy with the height up front gonna flip my ball joints asap!
Bro I just dropped mine 3" from the rear sitting on 17" wheels right now. Planning to buy 2" belltech like this guys, but not flip the balljoints. Will buy new ones since I'm going to remove them might as well replace them but again not flip them heard its too much stress for balljoints
@@raulvazquez8783what block kit did you use and did it come with the u bolts?
@@iscogarcia1973 Belltech 6200 ebay I paid $100 because it was faster shipping amazon is a bit cheaper. Yes it came with u-bolts and did not have to cut them but I have to shave an inch or so on the bump stops
Belltech 6200 yes comes with hardware aka u bolts nuts and washers
@@iscogarcia1973 here
Hey I lowered the back of mine and for some reason the passenger tire sticks out about 2 inches do you know what might cause this
If it’s just the one side I would say leaf spring shackle bushing Fr
Both bushings tho
So is like a 4/4 drop by do the flip up front?????
you can do a flip or get spindle spacers thats what i did for my truck i got those same belltech springs i put djm shocks in the front and ebay spindle spacers and i have no gap with 17 inch wheels
@@kev818 I'd like to see that...
Fucking dope I need to lower mine I have an 01
I wish you showed exactly what to remove because I want to remove and replace the coil spring but good job over all
Upper ball joint, the. Push down on lower ball joints with spindle and then slide in the springs
@@juanadorno1975 I have the haynes book, seen other videos and you make it look super easy I will try your way, but I am still replacing ball joints and tie rod ends anyway will update you when I do it. Thanks for the reply
Also remove the strut/shock if not, you'll have a really bad time @@raulvazquez8783
@@juanadorno1975 will do! Once I order all parts and do it I will update, it's going to be a while still before I do this project
What lowering springs did you get from bell tech I can only find once that day for a v6 are those the right ones
Probably as long as the year Is right
That’s what I thought too but I realized the reason they specify for the v6 is because of the difference in weight. My 1st gen is a 4 cyl so it’s not heavy enough to compress the spring to where it needs to be. That’s probably why he didn’t get much of drop at first until he flipped the ball joints. I hope this helps because I figured it out the hard way.
u don’t need a spring compressor?
Just to get the stock springs out. You don’t need it to put the shorter ones in.
