I overheard our neighbours complaining that our garden was a mess so this summer we spent a few months sorting it out. We built raised flowerbeds and a huge pergola put a new patio in and a lawn. We spent a lot of money on our garden and hard work getting it nice and then the next door neighbours kid started throwing things over and spraying us with water when we were our there with family and friends. Now they are the ones with a messy garden their decking is rotten the glass doors on the summer house are smashed with broken toys all over the lawn which is overgrown and covered in dog poo and the kids run round with no shoes on.

I once worked for the city as a mediation specialist. I mediated conflicts between neighbors. Every time I thought I'd seen it all, someone would up the ante...

Even in unincorporated areas. Counties and Townships fear wild fires.

When done properly and **in accordance with** local ordinances, burning leaves and paper/wood trash is fairly common throughout New England.
Especially during winter when chance of an "out of controlled" fire is all but non existent.
Out in the dry and arid west, sure, it's a danger.
In the perpetually damp and green north east, not so much.
God, yes, especially in this day and age with wildfires everywhere.
If he doesn’t care what she’s doing that suggests to me he’s probably following whatever ordinance exists if one does. My county has one but every county that surrounds it doesn’t, despite being heavily forested 🤷🏽♂️
The lemon meringue guy was hysterical, but I'm glad he doesn't live on my street. We have one bad guy on our street and while we hate living next door to him, we're glad it's just one bad apple. Could be worse as your videos show.

There's more video of this guy. Eventually, he set fire to a truck in his driveway, burned the house and ended up in jail. If I remember right, this nightmare of the neighborhood went on for several years before it finally ended with the fire.
It's a crying shame with all the problems going on in this country, why people can't just try to get along with each other. Life is much too short for all the drama.

we had nasty neighbors, they sued us over the common drive they lost & moved, then even nastier neighbors moved in we sold, moved & have the nicest neighbors now😊

no plastic/ tarpaper/etc. Anything that produces noxious smoke/smells. Also has to be in a burn barrel with screening on top.

Mowing your lawn 4 days a week because you love your mower would be annoying as f. 3 different neighbors so he must be overdoing it.
I have had a neighbor with a ridiculously loud lawnmower and another that was in love with his gas leaf blower. He would blow his debris around for hours every night. (He was was on drugs so the situation resolved itself when the house was foreclosed on).
Could be worse, he could practice the drums 🥁 4 days a week 🤔 , or his mariachi band could practice there, or worse...he could be a mime....imagine that in front of your home....sometimes ya gotta look on the bright side!
No crying about the mowing is ridiculous, unless he is doing it at 6am or 10pm ..every 3 days is what is recommended for new grass seed or sod..and how long can it take maybe a hour 🤷
Sunday morning mowing is very rude, for some people it is their only day off.

Tbh I would also be pretty annoyed about some dude burning cardboard in the middle of a residential area. It both smells and smokes while also being unnecessary pollution. Cardboard is one of the more easily recyclable materials so bring it to the recycling station instead dude.

@@georgianasalter I know and it should be done by a independent state employee paid for 50/50 by the landowners so there's no bias. I was saying it's sad neighbors cant get along over two inches, there's always gotta be one bad neighbor.
That's typically why surveys are required before things are put up on the property line, to prevent disputes like this. Both parties and the contractor all get copies so everyone knows exactly where the fence goes.
And even with a survey some people are just plain aholes and always need an enemy. They’re just empowered today more than ever so watch out!

She seemed surprised that the light was his. It might not do any good but showing her the inside of the garage could have shown her the interior wall extended beyond the paved driveway and possibly wiring, etc for the light. She may have a 'problem' at her age.
I'm so thankful I live on 10 acres of farm land in a town of less than 3000 ppl .
Meanwhile our neighbors happily let us built a dense on our property, even let us use part of their barn to bring the expense down.
Our families have been pals with them for 20 years now, they’re amazing and get all sorts of Christmas cookies for it.
