@@landfound They sometimes do, yes. But I think the most valuable part of this exercise is that the players communicate. I insist that they shout out loud when they want the ball and they usually do the same in match-situations.

Nice drill. However, the same players on the diagonal corners are always doing the overlap - be sure to switch directions !

just a comment having done this with my team tonight, the drill is a good concept but the rotation doesn't work. The players who receive the ball and attack the defender before jogging to the opposite corner are stuck in a continual loop, never getting to be the runner. I ran this drill for twenty minutes before the boys mentioned it. Great drill, needs to be tweeked
