So as someone with a kid that has dreams of playing top flight football, what is really the difference between the level you play at and the bigger leagues? Your skills are insane. So it makes me wonder, just how much more skilled can the average top league player be? What sets them apart?
Good point, personally I think the main difference is maybe awareness and mindset. Don’t think with some players there is a big difference in ability and skill. Players learn at different times and there’s a lot of talent in the lower leagues still waiting for the opportunity 💪

I'm from the US so I'm not as well versed on soccer skill progression, but that's definitely my thought as well. I know skills will come in time with quality practice (he's 8 and just really getting into it the last few months). But I know the mental is the key part of every sport so I constantly preach mindset and being aware of what's going on around him. After all, can't decide what to do if you don't know what's happening haha

Definitely need a strong ankle. Wouldn’t concentrate on leaning forward just run up to the ball faster as that will naturally keep your body shape down
Maybe try on your follow through to drive your knee up towards the sky instead of your foot. Hard to tell when I haven’t seen what your shooting technique is like

Bro I struggle with it for 3 yrs and now I'm 15 it's ridiculous like I should get it RN but I swear that's the best I can focus on the contact point. Sometimes the I miss, the way I shoot the ball makes no sense sometimes it ticks me off
@@aarondavoes just work on ur technique that's ur problem, ur body movement when ur about to hit the ball , and also which part of the ball ur hitting, if u hit slightly to the edge of the ball it's most likely going to curve
No like it ends up hitting the side every time I tried to do a PowerShot like I tried so many ways and it just doesn't help It looks like I just have to keep practicing till I get it

Definitely focus on your contact point strong part of your foot and hit the middle of the ball. Probably coming round the ball too much 👍
