Inflation is crazy so please don't compare prices for current top players to old generation. Just because players like Haaland or Mbappe are worth 200+ million it doesn't mean they are really worth it. It's just inflation.
Messi during the quarter of his career not only ran a lot, but was incredibly effective off the ball. Often hounding fullbacks until he won the ball. He was relentless. The man has been playing for nearly 20 years. Let's not act like he's only been around for five.
Messi never refused to run Messi just refused to run aimlessly he style of preserving energy for the crucial runs and sudden explosive dribbling is something which should be appreciated its a genius idea But even if he has reduced running around foolish his one run dribbling is equal to 10 runs the energy and power u need the stamina the flexibility vision etc this all combined in one run where he dribbles 3-4 players and he does it several times in one game whereas other players do such runs once in a life once in season once in 10 games and even the they dont get close in results Messi is Monster who has stamina of a horse he is a wild stallion a wild running dog never getting tired flexible like a snake a lizard fast like a leopard eyes amd vision like a hawk strenght like a tiger his presence and aura like a lion hardworking like an Ant looking harmless like a cat leading caring for his team like a Wolf leads his pack and still this guy is so humble and soft hearted not showing off no useless and boasting statements
I know a guy who played with Messi when he arrived to la Masia (we are from the same small town) and what the video says at the beggining it's not true. From day one, all of his teammates knew he was the best player in the team. The reason Messi didn't `ñay at the beggining was because he hadn't the authorisation from the federation (international trades in minors are really difficult in paperwork) but he was well integrated and everybody in the club knew how good he was.
PELE WAS THE BEST EVER 1. He could score with either leg. He scored over 1,000 goals, goals of all types, colors and shapes. From outside the box, inside the box, volleys, scissor kicks, diving headers, soft, hard, over the goalie's reach, upper corner, lower corner. You think of it, he did it. 2. He was excepcional with headers. He would usually out jump taller defenders. He was like a fish in midair, able to get higher once he jumped. Observe carefully his header-goal against Italy in the finals of the World Cup México 1970. 3. Physically, he was impecable. Strong, fast, quick, powerful, with remarkable endurance. 4. Technically, Pelé was masterful. His control was awe inspiring. Pelé made it look easy, natural, joyous. He could dribble past a cloud of defenders like a hot knife through butter. 5. Tactically, Pelé had no flaws. He would move knowingly on the field, commanding his teammates, understanding where they would be, occupying spaces, opening the game as needed. Watch him control and blindingly pass the ball to Carlos Alberto for Brazil's fourth goal in the final against Italy in the World Cup México 1970. Simply delicious! 6. He was courageous. Most of the time, when he stepped on the field, Pelé was a marked man. Teams would have their top defender shadow him constantly. He played most of his career without the benefit of the disciplinary cards, they were instituted in 1970, Pelé's last World Cup. The referee's "culture" of the time, allow for much more rough play. Pelé learn to defend himself against tough defenders and never backed down. 7. Pelé played on fields that were not the best by today's standards. The ball would bounce here an there, responding to the unevenness and holes on the field. It was much more difficult to make a good pass, much more difficult to control the ball and yet, Pelé shone with the light of a genius. 8. Pelé won many national titles, international titles and the World Cup three times. He is still today the youngest player to play in a World Cup final (17 years old at Sweden 1958) and score (two goals). 9. Finally, Pelé was FIFA's best ambassador of the game. An example for the youth of the future and most decent human being. And who could beat that smile? I saw him score the most remarkable goal I have ever witnessed... Lima was all up in a buzz as the news spread like wild fire about the arrival of Santos of Brazil with Pelé. Santos was going to play against Alianza Lima the Peruvian champion. The excitement increased as Alianza announced the hiring of an Uruguayan defender named Souza just for the match. Souza's job, of course, was to shadow Pelé all game long. Alianza paid Souza the enormous amount (in those days) of $500 dollars just for the one game, all other expenses (travel, stay, etc.) covered. It was summer, so the game was going to be played at night at the "Estadio Nacional." As the game progressed, Souza, a tall, black, strong and agile player was doing a very good job of shadowing Pelé. Souza, being from Uruguay, was schooled in the ways and manners of their style of play. That is, all nonsense and as rough as the referee would allow and more. It was almost half time, Pelé was next to the touch line near midfield watching his goalie kick the ball long and high. As the ball fell towards him, Pelé smoothly chess trapped it and allow it to roll down onto the field in front of him. Souza jumped on the ball but Pelé was first. With his back towards Souza, Pelé heeled the short bounce of the ball over Souza's head. Fast as lightening, Pelé turned around, his eyes riveted on the ball as it was falling down passed Souza. He quickly realized that Villanueva, Alianza's goalkeeper, about forty meters away, was way out of his line. In a flash, Pelé volley the ball. It described a laser like parabola over the surprised humanity of Villanueva and into the back of the net! It was magnificent! Extraordinary! Amazing! An instant hush fell all over the stadium, as if all those human minds needed time to really process and accept was they had just witnessed. And then, then, everybody stood up and applauded and applauded and applauded. I still can hear them. Father, may you rest in peace, thank you for taking me that night to the stadium. Your loving son, always. Pelé, Pelé WAS AND IS THE BEST!
@@lakaka9587 You are right! I did not watch the video. I didn't need to, I have followed Messi since at 13, he was acquired by Barcelona from Newell's Old Boys. I bet you did not read my whole commentary about Pelé. If you did, you will have to admit that Pelé was way superior to Messi. Messi is a great player but not the best, he has a character flaw. The Argentinians used to call him "pecho frío" which translates as "no heart" because he would not "show up" during most of Argentina's tough games. Yes, he corrected it in the last World Cup but not before. Pelé was right on from the very start. At 17, he scored two goals in the 1958 World Cup final against Sweden. Pelé was the COMPLETE player just watch him head the ball (Messi could only dream to head the ball as good), score with either left or right foot (Messi is mostly left foot it) and on and on. Thank you for your reply, have a great day!

Nowadays even no name players are being sold for 50+ million. Inflation is crazy so please don't compare prices for current top players to old generation. Just because players like Haaland or Mbappe are worth 200+ million it doesn't mean they are really worth it. It's just inflation.
Your commentary is deserving ❤🔥
Thank you so much
If Messi run , that's game over for opponent 😂
I love you narration. Its fun. I didn't even watch the vdo, just listening to u was fun enough. Amazing!
this have to be shown in all schools, i mean put it in the next space probe like the golden disk for aliens to find
Indeed
And he’s still dazzling audiences in Miami! GOAT!
Messi cured me from depression when i discovered him early in his career :)
Messi usually don't run..
but when Messi runs, nobody's there able to stop him 🔥
Messi during the quarter of his career not only ran a lot, but was incredibly effective off the ball. Often hounding fullbacks until he won the ball. He was relentless. The man has been playing for nearly 20 years. Let's not act like he's only been around for five.
I clicked because of the title of the video seeming stupid and it was confirmed because most of what we see is Messi running like a madman
great video!
Thanks!
Messi never refused to run
Messi just refused to run aimlessly
he style of preserving energy for the crucial runs and sudden explosive dribbling
is something which should be appreciated its a genius idea
But even if he has reduced running around foolish
his one run dribbling
is equal to 10 runs
the energy and power u need the stamina the flexibility vision etc
this all combined in one run where he dribbles 3-4 players
and he does it several times in one game
whereas other players do such runs once in a life
once in season
once in 10 games
and even the they dont get close in results
Messi is Monster who has stamina of a horse he is a wild stallion a
wild running dog never getting tired
flexible like a snake a lizard
fast like a leopard
eyes amd vision like a hawk
strenght like a tiger his presence and aura like a lion
hardworking like an Ant
looking harmless like a cat
leading caring for his
team like a Wolf leads his pack
and still this guy is so humble and soft hearted
not showing off
no useless and boasting statements
I know a guy who played with Messi when he arrived to la Masia (we are from the same small town) and what the video says at the beggining it's not true. From day one, all of his teammates knew he was the best player in the team. The reason Messi didn't `ñay at the beggining was because he hadn't the authorisation from the federation (international trades in minors are really difficult in paperwork) but he was well integrated and everybody in the club knew how good he was.
Messi is being talked about like some age old footballer from decades ago....
Bruh, where has the time gone?
He's really that good..✨️✨️and truly smart with his growth
PELE WAS THE BEST EVER
Maybe I will make a video about him too
You didn’t even watch him, Messi is the best player to ever grace the pitch
@@Footyheaven-v3s You should PELÉ was the best ever.
@@edsonarantes1414 So you're basing it off him not showing up during international games which isnt true in the slightest, how stupid are you, abilty wise, stats wise, trophy wise Messi is the best player to ever grace this planet, shit even Ronny is clear of Pele, lets not kid ourselves, those two footballers clear Pele and Maradona, stop forcing a stupid debate
Honestly, the under 20 World Cup win counts as a World Cup win in my book.
20:05 Goal scoring peak*
This storyline was perfect
excuse me, Pele is the best of all time, Messi is certainly the best of his generation tho
clearing up, Pelé is the best of all time, Ronaldinho is the most talented of all time and with the most potential (sadly he didn't care much about his career), Messi had the greatest career tho.
From "he's gonna be the next Maradona" to "who's gonna be the next Messi"
You don't need to wage war when you're a god.
He actually did run a lot during his prime, he would drop back to defend
let's ignore defending for a moment, he made so many runs in his peak years. a common misconception is that he's always walked as much as he does now. definitely not
I have a feeling that Real Madrid supporters were always afraid of Messi when Barcelona & Real Madrid were faced each other as every time he touched ball on the pitch, he always made defenders go crazy especially Ramos, who was always sent off in these sorts of matches.
Footy Heaven: How A Winger Who Refused To Run Became The Best Player Ever
Proceeds to then show Messi running like hell in almost every clip 😂
He didn't refuse to run if everyone is running then there's no room to notice what's going on and if a player can take the time to notice then protect them cause that's the kind of player that makes football great
The whole professional footballer acknowledge him as the GOAT 🐐
I swear to god there's 20+ videos on this exact same topic.
Show me...
Suarez fouled?
Looks like a dive to me
😂😂 Cheeky Suarez, king of the dark arts
Greatest comeback ever 🎉🎉
Your name says it all ,Doesn't it ?

But still to me Suarez dived in that match and I loved it
It made the match more interesting
I'm A Barça fan by the way
Well Chelsea, Barça, Nigerian in that order
@@BarcaFan_05 being a Kpop Fanboy doesn't mean I don't know football, I grew up watching and playing football and I still do 😊
Correction. Messis idol wasn't maradona. Tho it is true all or most Argentinian admire maradona, but his real idol was pablo aimar. He modeled his game after aimar.
Pls where do you get your full matches from?
At 31:12 in carrier mode he just never tried poacher mode , so he was inzaghi
Messi was running like crazy early days what are u talking about
this video is very high quality, i wonder why this video gets so few viewers and so few subscribers
Messi wasn't the one carrying in that game, Ney did all the work and got two goals and the match winning assist yet EVERYONE flocked to Messi and decided to glaze him so hard even the Spanish media were doing tricks on it
Photographic memory and intuition.
Ronaldo fans have been real quiet since this droppped.
Looks like you will have more likes than subscribers LOL. Sperb comprehensive Video Loved every second of it. I have subscribed as you deserve far more subscribers than what you currently have, and I suspect and hope you soon will
Thank you so much man! Working hard to get you more type of content just like this...
There are only 2 such geniuses ever in Football history.. First was Diego Maradona.. Then its Lionel Messi.. Probably in another 30 years Argentina shall give us another same kind genius
Great narrating.
This syndrome of not running spread to other talented players such as joao and ansu...the problem is that they are not messi..messi earned that
I agree on that!
31:50 mate he still played in the same club it happened to ronaldo in real AND he went to multiple clubs where it happened AGAIN and stop glazing him holy crap
Yep. Ronaldo joined other club's and actively made them worse after he left Madrid .

No chance he was ever written off as a young kid. He was always very special
There are only four Argentine footballers (in the forward positions) that I truly revere and will doff my hat for any day: Daniel Passarella, Mario Kempes, Diego Maradona, and Lionel Messi. Period!
