I don’t ride and I’m thinking about buying one of these to commute to work. Would I absolutely need to do the upgrades like carb and gears if I don’t really need it for power? I guess what I’m wondering is does the bike work as is or will the stock stuff break?
The bike will definitely work as is! Just need to make sure every nut and bolt are tightened. And make sure the oil is swapped out when you get it. Also these bikes do not reach highway speeds. So if your commute involves highway/freeway speeds I wouldn't recommend.
@@darkowlmoto Awesome thank you. I will lock tight everything and change the oil for sure. Highway speed is not an issue. But I also don’t want a scooter. These look fun and easy enough to learn to ride. I really appreciate your quick response
it always nice to have the right plug in they should supply male and female set and plugs. it would be a easier sell for the company. iv got a clone but a grom wiring because of fuel injection for my 190cc. a fuel and mph adjustments are awesome i need to get one of these. the company need to change all there paper work they should no that there bad. also make people happy not having to call for it. less work for them. by changing a type o. great video. ps so 1-5 and n possible?
thanks for the repeat i notice wire what y0u went off a grom wiring going to be 5 not 6 to that means the other wire on the engine people are not quite sure were it goes to on the 190cc engine side im almost positive id have to try by adding wire for it to read and new dash. thats why there no videos no. no one got this working even with a after market dash that crazy for the amount of people buy new dash and sill cant get it to work on line and only in stand a lone reader. thanks you@@darkowlmoto
@@josephsaucedo8691 yup so this is a Chinese clone of the real Honda Grom dash. It has extra wires for 6 speeds. But you won't need two of them for a normal 4 speed clone. Also has extra wires for water temp and check engine light.
the new model real grom wire has the 5 speed trans a N but with the190 in you have to use the older grom 4 with N just like the clone only difference is fuel injection ecu electric fuel pump in a gr0m harness you can by pass its the only easy way to get a 190 fuel ejection old grom wiring swap ln a clone frame. wish the new grom wire swap work on the 190 it something to do with the ecu why it need the older model i was told'
I’d need to know where you purchased it from. And the brand as well would help. If it is an xpro you could always contact Xpro USA or you may need to contact the actual seller which would be more ideal.
Good stuff, looking into street tires as well for mine.
youll definitely notice a difference in a good way!

Seen part of the video, but why change the speedo when it looks like the stock one?
I explained in another video. The stock one wrapped out which they tend to do.

Yep! It has 6 gear wires only 5 are used for a 4 speed clone. So this can be put on any scooter or motorcycle.

Can you post a link to those turn signal indicators?
I'm not sure the exact link since the ones I bought are no longer sold. Just look up on Amazon "universal motorcycle turn signals"
What value did you use for the tire circumference?
I'd have to look at the sheet. That came with it just cannot remember exactly.
How did you mount? did you make a bracket?
I used one screw and screwed it into the original spot on the bikes stock mount. I believe I show in the video
Did you get the speed correctly adjusted?
I did!
Can you do a video on how to adjust
where you get your mirrors?
Amazon
@@darkowlmoto would you be able to provide link?
@@Seeerton the ones I bought say unavailable. Just look up universal motorcycle mirrors on Amazon and look for them.
Can you point me in the direction of actually contacting the manufactuer via email? I need modified mso bso
