    I know this is an older video but I’m so glad I found it. I have wanted a miracle corner chomper for more than a decade though previous versions were so big and bulky. The small hand held corner rounder could never succeed with the heavy card stock… I saw someone use this in video today and went on a hunt for more videos - long story short, found yours which so brilliantly explains all the ins and outs as well as problems that occur when used improperly. I raced to nearest Michaels and found one - A MILLION THANKS! It cut like butter through 4 layers of Neenah 110lb - seeing you cut the packaging the tool came in won me over. This is truly a game changer for me - and I had a 20% off coupon! This is a MUST HAVE TOOL in every craft room!

    Thank you for this video. I just purchased all three crop-a-dile . The small eyelet punch, large eyelet punch, and the corner chomper. I have found that RUclips tortorial are far better than the instructions on the package. Your video had been a great help,

    Thank you so much. I have also waited a long time for my chomper. No instructions. couldn't figure out how to use or open reservoir. I had no idea the flaps came down or how far. Now I feel confident using it but will practise some more.

    Could you also show how you empty it. It took me a while to figure out how to open it and I’m still not sure there is a better way than slamming the side of it to knock out the bits and pieces. I’d love to see your technique. Thanks for any tips you might have.

      irene slobodin hi, to empty the punch just pop open the top center square area,where the blue picture is, and the pieces will fall out, thanks

    Thanks for the info. I’m confused, does this piece of equipment do straight and rounded corners or do I need ti invest in a 2nd one to get the rounded corners?

  • @kandrews6356
    @kandrews6356 5 лет назад +1

    It is true... if you punch aluminum foil with your punch(es), it 'sharpens' it/them. If you punch waxed paper, it 'lubricates' the punch and it will cut smoother. Usually you have to fold the foil and/or the waxed paper a couple of times to make it 'thick enough' for the punch to punch it properly (and not get stuck), but how many times you have to fold depends on the individual punch(es) and the type of foil (heavy duty or regular) and waxed paper you use. (Sorry about the foil phobia Maymay.)

    Not sure I can explain this well, but I have very good luck when punching a not exactly square corner by lining up one side with the guide and punching then shifting to line up the other side of the guide and punch again.

    Aluminum Foil does work for all your punches. I have used many times. Just fold it 2-4 times over before punching, as this gives it more stability.

    Maymay, no one mentions how to EMPTY all those corners that your chomped snips. My chomped literally can hold what seems like HUNDREDS!!!!!
    I have to get a poky tool and dig them out. SERIOUSLY, is this the only way to get out those collected corners?
    Thanks😢
