I bought one of these sticks and was totally confused how to get the waxy stuff out. Your video just helped me figure it out. And I didn't even know about the slot for curling paper. I tried it with a piece of ribbon and curled beautifully. Thanks.
Awesome! Thank You MayMay! I typed in the product in RUclips search your video came up and wala! My quick stick now works!! The first one I got , I did twist it like you are suppose to, but it didn't work for me. This one was a breeze! I can't wait to use it! TY! 🤗👍😘
This had several great tips for us who do have and use the QuickStik! I didn't notice the paper curling feature until you demonstrated it for us. One more great use of the Quickstik!
Mine won't twist up. It gets tight before it starts pushing the green stuff up into the tip? Yours is up together, but mine has threads between the tip and the bottom.
I swear I have had this tool for at least a year and never knew it had those slits on the stick that slides into the barrel. That's funny. Keep making these videos it's fun to learn new things.
It took me forever to figure it out - wish I had this sooner, it would have saved me lots of frustration! Lol. I think lots of people need this tip! Thanks!
MayMay, thank you. I've had my QuickStik for at least 10 years and love it. And while I've known to not twist and the pokie and flat tools, all this time, I never knew about the slots inside, LOL. You taught an old dog new tricks today. Thank you!
Thank you Maymay for this tip! I bought this tool and did just what you said most people do. I twisted it thinking that is how the cap removes. I wish the packaging had these instructions on it.
I bought one of these and after the nib wore down I did exactly what you exhibited not to do. After fussing with it forever with no success I just threw it in the back of my tool drawer destined to the shadows forever. But I will get it out regroup with my newfound knowledge and get it going. Thanks to your little demonstration it’s now in a more prominent place!!!
Thank you so much. I just got one of these and no lie about 2 hours ago I was trying to twist it up just like you said not too. 😯 Well, now I know why it wouldn't go down. I'm a little afraid to go look at it now if it's still growing. Thank you for teaching me 😊
I have had this product for several years and never been able to get any more product out. It’s hard as a rock. I have been using the original amount but now that is warn out so just ordered a Crystal Katana. Happy yours is working.
THANK YOU so much for explaining that. The directions on the package are useless and I REALLY needed to see this video, so Thanks MayMay! You're awesome!
GREAT Tips & Tricks Share......OUTSTANDING TUTORIAL!! I'm thrilled to death that you did this because I have several of these Quick Sticks...reason being I keep forgetting I have one then buy another....and always forget to use them....so THANKS SO MUCH....Now Maybe...just MAYBE I'll remember to use them...LOL!! YOU SO ROCK!! Joan Smith
There was a reply to a question about this, but the ends of the part that pulls out can be used to hold things down or to place small embellies like rhinestones or jewels.
Thank you so much for the tip on moving the sticky tip up. I couldn’t figure it out and it is hard to twist up.. I was finally able to do it. They do not sell new tips so what do people do when you eventually run out of sticky. I suppose you could just put some putty on the top.
Thank you for this. I never noticed the slots for curling and I wasted all the putty because I didn’t know about slowly turning. I’ve had mine for about two years. Now I guess I’ll have to purchase a new one.
Thanks. I will have to try this. I got one for Xmas last year and in less than 30 secs of opening it my daughter destroyed the tip and haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it or if it could be fixed. I also didn’t know about the holes for curling! Thanks !
Good to know. I wish I had known before I tossed mine out because I twisted it to much. Got a new one so won’t do that again. Plus another tool with multiple uses! Thanks for sharing
@@wildathompson662 I have found a RUclips video. That shows you how it's done. You need to unscrew the turntop. Then pull out the back long part with a tool. But be careful it is difficult and it could brake. This is the link to the RUclips. Hope it helps. Kind Regards A3.ruclips.net/video/ZuhUZirYqyQ/видео.html
So glad I watched this!! I've had one of these for a long time and never could figure out the end with the sticky stuff. 🤪 Thank you!!! Oh and I didn't know about the holes for curling. Lol
I found out the hard way not to twist the cap to remove it.......and to only twist a little at a time to bring up more sticky. This is a perfect product demo and tip.
Tamatha Luehrs I wonder if somehow we could put some of the putty we use for hanging things on the wall in it. I guess it probably doesn’t open tho from your answer . I’m lying in bed looking at mine in a marker tin - and too lazy to check it out! Have a good week! How’s job hunting going!
Great video, MayMay! I didn’t know about the curling holes! I just learned that this can be refilled, do you sell the refills and know how to refill it-would be great if you would show how to do it?! Please! :) Thank you!
Thank you Maymay!!! I've had mine for a couple of years now and I didn't even know about the 2 hollow slots on the inside poker. I really didn't like the product because the sticky putty kept coming out. So now I know how to properly use it, I just might buy another when the putty runs out. Or do you know if there's a replacement for the putty? Thank you Maymay for product lesson! You and you Sidekick have a great evening!!! ~Liz~
Thank you for this quick tip. The instructions are vague. I never knew the one end came out and like others wasted product because I was trying to unscrew it.
Maymay, thank you for this video. I had no idea the other end came out to reveal the pointer. Once the sticky stuff is all one can the plunger be replaced or do you have to buy a whole new stick??
I made that mistake when I first got mine. Thanks I didn’t realize that that opening was for curling paper. I had mine for so many years and I just never knew:) thanks for the info:)
Mine doesn’t come out. It won’t turn but it’s full. I have had it a couple years but never used any other than the original amount. Thanks for the review. Guess I have to buy another. I have two other kinds but they don’t work well.
Great tip,I have one of these but didn't know about the paper curling on the end. What are the flat and pointy end used for? Thanks for all of the quick tips!! Keep them coming!!!
I have the QuickStik and when I received it, I did that very thing...I twisted it and the product came oozing out. I stopped using it because it annoyed me each time I used it. Now I can start using it again because I know the correct way to use it. I never even noticed those wholes for twirling paper etc. Again...thanks for the wonderful tip Maymay!!!
I bought one of these sticks and was totally confused how to get the waxy stuff out. Your video just helped me figure it out. And I didn't even know about the slot for curling paper. I tried it with a piece of ribbon and curled beautifully. Thanks.
Thank you for showing this. The company says they have a video demo on this, but they don't!! I am happy to have found you. Thanks for showing this!
Thanks! Got one in my Christmas stocking and couldn't figure out how to open it! Haha! The package was no help at all, but YOU were!
Oh my word I had no idea it had product to stick to paper!!!! Genius! I’m going back to Hobby Lobby tomorrow to buy all of them they have!! Thank you!

I've used one of these for years and never knew about the holes. I love to learn new things, even if they're small things. Thanks, as always.

Question:. I got this Quickstik and did exactly what you said to refill the tip but mine won't work. Any ideas??

I just found this video of how to use the tool, and now I find that mine is dried out too. I'm not a fan of We R MK right now.
Thank you so much for this quick tip!!!
Wish I had this tip when I bought mine. Thanks for sharing.
Are there refills for this? I've had mine forever and didn't know that clear part came out. Thank you for showing this. Much love, Rhonda

Learned the hard way with mine!
I found out the hard way not to twist the cap to remove it.......and to only twist a little at a time to bring up more sticky. This is a perfect product demo and tip.
I did learn the hard way! TFS.😊
What happens when you use all the putty, buy a new whole unit or are there refills?
Catherine Jackson hi, unfortunately they don’t have refills, you will need to purchase a new one, thanks

Thank you very valuable
How do you refill the green product?
I see a lot of sticky goo in the end piece, however, mine doesn't come out any more. Is there another way of pushing goo up..
Yes, I have wasted so much product trying to twist it. Didn’t realize there were the two slots inside. Who knew??? Thanks for sharing.
Mine doesn’t come out. It won’t turn but it’s full. I have had it a couple years but never used any other than the original amount. Thanks for the review. Guess I have to buy another. I have two other kinds but they don’t work well.
Thanks nice tip
I followed the instruction but can’t get any to come out at all. Does the sticky stuff get old?
