Well done, I have a cage {myna x) and in the last 2 days have destroyed 17 Myna's.
There are 3 in the cage now, so it will be at least 20 in 3 days. Already seeing more rosella's and native parrots. Wallan (Hidden Valley Vic) Keep up the good work.

Great work Chris A plastic tarp with a hose connection & a draw string on the top. That was what the original trap designer had. All goodCheers

I have a major myna problem here. Love your vid, making a trap tomorrow. How long do u leave the initial ones in the cage before emptying?

Definitely one of the worst-made videos I have ever seen on RUclips, but it is informative and interesting. I have just bought a smaller type trap on line to use on my Minor issue at the moment. Hope it works as well as this one.

Awesome trap, love your work here.
Just wondering what the purpose of the red food dye is in the cat food? Have you found cat food to be the best for catching mynas?

since then another 20 + mynas 5 in my cage right now, and I will be making some other cages, to spread around my neighbourhood.
They love dry dog food, the more people know about the 2winged rat and what they do the more people will take part. keep up the good work.

Thanks Mate Good work they are cunning little mofos
just work the trap at night remember go nere it during the day and your done for weeks if not more
Yes these Mynas are a big danger to our Rosella Population!
If you have Rosella Nesting Boxes I have seen them in and Pushout Young
There is another trap for you to research It is a funnel with a net on the end
Say a 90mm stormwater pipe with a net at the bottom so they drop in
There you go build it and put it up on the TUBE
    Cheers Sly

Hi sly I have another 7 in the cage. The way I kill them is to seal cage up in plastic and a hose from the exhaust from my car BA XR8. Deisel does not work, only petrol and cold.
30 seconds c03 kills them quickly.
    cheers chris

Any motor other than a modern car will work better -- the catalytic converter reduces the carbon monoxide levels by a huge factor -- quicker to use exhaust from your lawnmower, generator, gas boiler, etc. if you can connect it safely.

Iv suggested to others, maybe let on go in the afternoon, then put the others down after dark. They are supposed to go and find others and bring them to the food but that one wont go back into the trap, however his mates will, >:)

    They are classed as Vermin
Yes you may trap and terminate humainly.
No poison just Trap and Dislocat by the neck
Grab there feet in two fingers and ther head in the other two finger and Jerk quickly very humane.
What are bulbirds My main aim is to trap and reduce Indian Mynas.
    Nothing Else
    Cheers Sly
