Just a small mention, but Mr.Night mentioned in an interview that the aliens didnt know they would react to water the way they did since they never experienced it before. Its believed that they never felt or touch it before, so they wouldnt know it could harm them. Love the reaction tho!
I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I still remember how many of my friends were mad that this was a 'bad alien movie.' I suppose as highschoolers, they were not willing to look beyond the obvious or whatever. Honestly, to me, this movie has always been about faith and the whole alien thing is just the backdrop if you will. It's still one of my favorites, I even liked 'The Village' no matter what anyone else says. 😊💕 Btw, your comment about wanting to give the little girl an uncontaminated bottle of water made me laugh just as I was about to drink some water 😂😂
I’d never in a million years call this a bad alien movie!! It was superb. And yeah I completely understand what you’re saying about the aliens being almost a sub-plot compared the losing/regaining of faith arc. Just a great film all round 👌🏻
People have their opinions about M. Night and I can understand some of them. But, he has a vision for his movies that are apparent and they are usually simple but have a message. The Village is a favorite of mine as it is both simple and beautiful as well and the music is so lovely. Jaoquin is also in that movie. I do agree his earlier movies are the better ones.
As a longtime fan of this movie, I have my own personal theory as to why the aliens have trouble with wood doors and run around like animals. You notice that the ones on the ground only make the trills and clicks but never once do they make the high pitched droning sound that we hear on the baby monitor. This has led to the theory that the aliens that we see are just the slaves of the actual invaders, used as pawns to take over a planet for the real threat who pilot the ships and invented space travel. Could I be reaching in order to fix a plot hole? Maybe. But that's just my personal theory.
A'hoy Cap'n! You should definitely check out The 6th Sense if you've never seen any movies by M. Night! I also really enjoyed his latest one "Knock at the Cabin".
@@CaptainTinny Totally should!! And Die Hard is a great idea for Christmas time! And if you've never watched a Willis movie, that means you haven't seen Pulp Fiction or Armageddon, both also worthy of reaction!
Lionel Pritchard & The Wolfington Brothers are back👽

Yeah Joaquin is an absolute weapon, he smashes every role I see him in. Just finished reacting to sixth sense and it was pretty good as well
Thanks for the reaction I forgot how much I liked this movie I’m definitely watching it again
Been looking forward to your October vids!
