Man I keep all those containers that I got from delivery take out. I'm glad I did because now I can use them. I am forced to be on a budget and this is the best video I have seen so far. It gets straight to the point. No time wasted here. Thanks
I Always save my containers. From sour cream, butter, popcorn, jelly, jams, heck, even the peanutbutter containers. Lol. Never know when your gonna need something to store things in! Recycle and reuse as much as I can!
Usually takeaway containers are not reusable, just try to find a number on it and Google it if it's alright to reuse, otherwise it can be quite harmful using for long time 😑
You are the absolute best Janelle. I struggle a lot with my eating habits, but I really think these meal preps will motivate me to consume healthier foods on time and on a regular bases. Thank you so much for the time you took out of your day to show us every meal step-by-step. The price is shocking too! Aaa, thank you❤️
Omg Thank you so much for this video! I have Lupus and Kidney disease because of the Lupus and went from working out 6 days a week , twice a day to nothing at all. But I am now ready to get back at it even though I'm still sick and this meal prep I believe will help me a lot! So again I say thank you I am going to implement this into my routine!
Hi new viewers:) Since this video is getting attention again, I just want to let y’all know that this video is one year old. I’ve improved so much since then. I have a new and updated meal prep video coming! In the mean time check out my cooking on @fitwsis on insta 💛
my grocery list came up to $80 but I paid$60 something just so you know I was watching this video at 2am and went straight to the store and bought most of the stuff from Safeway ( no lebni, forgot mushrooms) thanks for the boost I needed my chicken is cooking now
Yo if you want to save money you can buy a lot of the protien on sale in bulk and freeze dat shit. Same with frozen veg if its cheaper than fresh or on sale buy that shit instead. Honestly all you need is a food scale and some creativity and your bill will go down because you will know what to make with whats on sale or in season.
I cooked all of these recipes and let me tell you, they are bomb af! They’re so delicious I hope you make more meal prep ideas.😁 The only thing I did differently was place the lettuce in a different bowl. That way I don’t have to take out the lettuce to reheat the turkey in the microwave. Other than that I would definitely give this a try! It did cost me more than $50 but that may be because I needed majority of the ingredients especially the seasonings! Lol
i have a question! what was the texture like on the overnight oats? it looked like there wasn't much liquid added for the amount of oats and chia seeds, so i was wondering if they were fully "cooked" for lack of a better word. also, i loved how you prepared this for you and your sister 💕
It will be complety soft and not raw after 8-10 hours, i make then with berry all the time, 45gram oats .. 120ml almond milk ,... 75 gram greek yogurt ,, berrys , salt .. chia seeds,
Thank you... you gave me a place to start. These meals actually look like something my husband would enjoy. We don’t eat shrimp, but it could easily be substituted with another protein. 🌹
This method is pretty popular -find more on youtube channels. I prepare oats in a somewhat similar way - I put 3-4 tablespoons of oats in a jar, half milk and half plain yogurt + "toppings" (dry cranberries/raisins and nuts; half of banana; apples and nuts, fresh or frozen strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, apricots, etc (seasonal fruits)..., cocoa powder or chocolate chips; sesame, sunflower or pumpkin seeds; coconut flakes, cut dried apricots or prunes... sugar, honey or maple syrup...). With different toppings you have different tastes. This is my favorite breakfast.
Don LuchiTv I normally cook 7 days worth of food. So what I do is I leave one day worth of food in the fridge, then I’ll put the other 6 in the freezer. I take the 1 day worth of food out of the freezer the night before and put it in the fridge. This way, my food stays fresh.
@@andrewpham2373 I have always learned not to save food for more than 2 days... I don't understand how you can save food for up to 7 days. I want to do this but I'm scared of getting food poison.
Nottia Jamison sometimes I’ll put thenlettuce im a separate bag so I can heat the turkey! Or you can just remove the lettuce or even cut the day of:) whatever is easier for you ❤️

Your meal preps look delicious...would it not be better to use another container for the salad because once I goes in the microwave for solids is like no good but other than that you do a very good job with meal preps.
I know this is a weird question (Lol!) but I'm not that familiar with Mediterranean cuisine. Trying different foods to expand my pallet and cooking skills at the moment. Anyhoo, how is lebaneh and hummus eaten with the rice bowl? Is it a dip or spread? Thanks in advance for replying. :)

soaking the oats is stupid, you have to cook the oats to get them to fluff up

Could you possibly at weights on the chicken and turkey? And also how many servings does each meal make?
Also a good way to to prep food for the whole week 🙃
