What an amazing race, can't believe Paul Tracy had 2 flat tires and still won! I always considered Long Beach the pinnacle of CART, instead of Indy 500.
I personally loved watched the Champ Car and thought some of it was the best racing in the past few years. The cars were nice, the engines were great, and the tracks were historical. If Indycar has the Panoz DP01 with the turbo engines with the IRL ovals even - it would be a great series once again.
Yes, I remember them hitting each other at Cleveland and Loudon in '94 - the second one put them both out! Mario always said he respected Nigel as a driver, but not as a man. But take nothing away from Nigel here, to get the pole, and come third two weeks after the crash at Phoenix, whilst carrying that injury, (and having to race with neat anaesthetic injected into his back) is amazing!

The 1993 season was the best, I remember taht in 1994 was not competitive, every races the Penske team wining, actaully Al Unser Junior was the champion of the season, and using just 5 of the 6 gears, that was sucks... That is my opinion. After 1994 season for may ocupation and bussines I couldn't follow the every time like pasts years or seasons... or championships and was suck when in 1997 in place of indycar starts to call CART... I miss that races of those days, golden days.

Don't know Vancouver music, but this 1 is called Cliffs of Dover, and it was on Guitar Hero 3.
F1 is an open formula. In no ways is it spec. I agree with you on IRL and CCWS.

I wonder why they couldn't put an F1 race here - it's one of the better circuits in the US - aside from Road America and The Glen.
