@@mid-misage3416 the turbo kit specs it improves horsepower by 60% Honda stock spec says 104hp so assuming 60% increase its 166hp at the crank. Both ghoul and beast mode are around 500 hp and the cf1 is 350hp i think?? And most of the other machines are in the 200s for sure. So the lable of "impressive" is hard to say when compared to the other built machines. Compare it to stock talon and the xp and x3 and then you could get a good baseline
And in an update doing some research a stock x3 turbo makes 195 and the rzr 168 the new xp is 188. The NA car is 110 for the rzr. The kit basically makes it a factory turbo car. The YXZ is also na but does not provide a hp rating. The x3 is now turbo only but to go from the bottom grade 120hp to the top of the line 195hp xds is a $6000 jump. Although it has other goodies thats just over the price of the turbo kit for the same power increase.
They used to speak fondly of the sound with the aftermarket exhaust, but have been running the stock muffler since the turbo went on. There may be an agreement on what they can/can't do with the turbo kit to keep the machine reliable. It can't feel that impressive when their other units have like 100 more hp but it does pretty well considering. I just wish it would sound good again.

Obviously the tuning is for stock exhaust.. but would it make that big of a difference at 8 lbs boost?? If the i4WD kit disables the ‘traction control’, since it has an open-diff, wouldn’t this result in a decrease in traction and performance (i.e., the classic ‘one tire fire’)?
I think the Talon is by far the most reliable and toughest machine in the fleet. She gets beat and still keeps on going. Those X3 blow up, RZR axle belts and engines troubles. If I dont recall this is still the factory engine after being completely sank in water.
Dude what are you smoking? The talon has a small turbo on it while those x3’s and razors have MASSIVELY turned up engines. When you make power like that on parts not rated for it, you risk all the moving parts, not just the engine. That engine is putting tons of strain on the belt and axles etc, and things are bound to break when you drive like they do and make the power they do. The talon does seem reliable but when comparing, compare apples to apples.

Who watches their speed when hitting jumps? Maybe I'm crazy but I go by the feel more than anything. That could be from riding dirt bikes for a super long time I guess and you don't have a speedometer or a tach to reference on a motocross bike. You just know what gear you're in and how deep into the throttle you are. That's why when people ask how fast you're going when you hit the jump, even in some of your guys' videos you say you weren't looking at your speed so you'll have to hit it again to see.

I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying. I definitely prefer my gages right in front of me but most of us aren't going for distance records or anything like that where we have to be at X-MPH to hit the sweet spot or even make sure you're gonna make the landing. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 That's why even in a few of your guys' own videos when someone asks how fast you hit whatever jump was hit, 99% of the time the guy being asked says "I don't know. They've never showed it in a straight up drag race with anything comparable so I'd say it can't be to impressive
