- Hello there! Today we are going to Totally Convert our Rimworld into the Star wars Universe! I really love star wars and I've had some of my most fun in Rimworld playing as the Clone Army and the CIS and I really wanted everyone to know about these mods so you can enjoy it too :)!
These mods will give you access to the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil Wars Eras + Tons more with these Extra mods! I hope you enjoy :)

I play the mod but keep wondering which weapon is which equalent. Unfortunately, the weapons don't show how much damage they do, or have I always overlooked them? Are the mods only overlays and the stats have been retained or do the weapons have completely new values? I noticed with the mods that Mandalorians and mechas are almost impossible to defeat because the blasters I use do almost no damage and I need luck and tricks to flatten even the smallest mecha. That's a huge problem right now.
@@ChNetrunner Hey mate, blasters don't do much damage to mechs and also probably Mandalorians because of the type of damage they do. They should definitely have stats still.

@@ChNetrunner normal guns mate, or High Explosive weapons. it does suck that the star wars weapons don't do much damage to it.
So, with the new DLC Biotech, this means we can truly have a Clone War on Rimworld... I really need to play this game again my god I miss it

The biggest mod in the pack is Outer Rim by Neronix. It would be nice to mention mod authors when introducing a mod, it takes just a second, and it encourages the person who made that mod endlessly. :)

Been looking in the past few days to get back into Rim and had an idea about doing StarWars but the mods I was looking at needed updating so glad I watched this thank you.

Hey btw disable mechanoids they're borderline immune to all star wars weapons
Hey Patches, You can do it before you land on the planet in the menu before you select where to land, I'm doing it at 3:45. They don't much damage because of they type of damage they do. Trandoshins have been know to use slug throwing Slug throwing weapons, so feel free to use a shotgun without breaking Lore :). I hope this helped :), let me know if you have any other questions :)
Well the rebels also had to bring AT launchers, grenades etc. To fight against AT-AT,s and AT-ST's

Someone just made a massive Hellsing Ultimate mod! Overpowered vampires, weapons, blood powers, and can play as Alucard and Police Girl! Look it up!

i was trying to do a star wars themed playthrough but failed due to mods not being up to date (they were even stopping my game from loading) but this video saved me with some new ones. thanks a lot, i've got my next playthrough guaranteed! (i'm just waiting to buy the royal dlc first, want a full experience with the empire lol)
Glad I could help Dilema :). If you are slightly into Rimworld The Royalty DLC is well worth it. Ideologies is also good but I don't really use it aside from the mods that need it :)

A total conversion would replace most or all vanilla stuff, this does not do that. Man I hope this doesn't lead to comments on the mods page about that.
Yeah I understand, Unfourtantly you cannot get rid of vanilla things in this game , but you can choose to not use them since there is all star wars alternatives and not allow any other factions to spawn
@@AussieBattleCat I choose not to remove them intentionally...I made the Outer Rim Galaxies mod lol, my point was it's somewhat misleading and could confuse some people.
@@Neronix17 omg sorry, mate the name didn't click. I think it's fair enough you didn't choose to remove it, these things can still be useful and wood does exist in the star wars universe along with stones ect :)
@@Neronix17 i wouldnt worry people get confused as what to wear in the morning :P , think most people installing mods have the basic understand its still rimworld , but the closest you can get to total conversion , also great mods and thanks for makeing mods :)

Where a find the Tibanna gaz deposits? The wiki don't say how to get the gaz.
You need to find them with a ground penetrating scanner :)

When I went to go apply the mods only some of them were like working. They weren’t able to plug-in all the factions and such
Hmm thats strange, what mods are working for you? and have you checked in the mod load order that? Need to make sure that any dependent mods loads below it's core mod.
Im not sure what it is, but a mod is making it so the head of the pawn doesnt load in when i take off a clone helmet.
Sorry to hear you are having that Issue mate, I havn't come across that issue though, Maybe try the mod load order? I have had Issues in the past where my character has been invisible but it was not specific to this mod
Quick question- what mod gives you the force chart and light sabers ?

Where can you get access to the specific armour sets like for Cody, Rex, the 501st members etc because I’ve checked JDC’s phase 1 and 2 mods and the outer rim galaxies 1.4 mod and I can’t find them
From memory they were the JDC's, otherwise there might of been a mod for that specific armour.
Early on, You ntion a tutorial You've made, concerning the content setup. I can't seem to see it in Your description though?

Hey mate, To make the force work, your pawn needs the force sensitive trait and over time they well start to "feel the presence of the force awake within them" once it has awoken they will gain skills points to put into force powers. I hope this helps mate :) I can do a video on this in the future but it might be a while off :)
Love mods like this but, never sure how to make a scenario that make sense to me of why they're building town as elite warriors. Especially with 40k mods.
There could be a ton of reasons. Maybe they are clones who have fled. It happened a few times in the clone wars. Maybe they crash landed. Who knows :p
@@AussieBattleCat if there was mod(might be I havnt looked yet) that adds like regular supply drops of food and ammo if you stay in an area long enough/build a spot for it as well as drops reinforcements every now and again would make a very cool FOB holding out play through as well as making attacking enemies bases to get more bases going would be awesome.
@@specrtre not sure if there is a mod but if you are ok with it, you can always make your own story like that with the help of the dev menu

How do you get the game to run so well with the force mod? It drops heavily in gos whenever I select a force user
Using the rocket man mod really helps smooth the performance with all the mods. If you arn't using that give it a try it's awesome, just make sure you put it at the bottom of your load order :)

hey I havn't personally tried to do it multiplayer so I can't help sorry. Just make sure you have the Exact same mods in the exact same order for best chance to make things work. Best of luck and let me know how it goes I would love to hear :)

Damn how did i not think about doing this before? I didnt tried out the mods yet but is there any cloning mod? For the clones obviously. And are there clone types wich would actually make difference in battle? (Commando. Arc. Etc,)

There is different training levels for the clones which will affect their skill levels, the Clone armour has different qualities as well so will also effect how buff they are :).
@@AussieBattleCat Thanks that really sounds great. I always liked the clone wars more than any other era. I dont know much about old republic and the Empire got littearly beaten by teddy bears with wooden spears and a bunch of rebels so i think Republic had not only the best looking but also the best working army.
@@Darksypng Totally, My favorite era is also the clone wars, but the Old republic is a really cool one to check out. there is a game series called Star wars: The knights of the old republic. It is the basis of the old republic era and it is VERY AWESOME. If you are looking to check out a new star wars game I can't recommend that one enough, it adds a lot of depth to the star wars universe. :)

Just a suggestion for future videos. When your doing a mod list... list all the mods, not just a core and collection list.

I wish they added HK-47
There is HK-47 in one of these mods i thinks its 021 from memory. Currently on a road trip so i cant look into detail. İf you get all the mods in the list you will have HK 47 to destroy all the meat bags :)
@@AussieBattleCat yeah I found it, thank you very much, I have an idea for a Rimworld mod thing, there are a bunch of dr who mods like Cybermen and you can convert colonists into cybermen to fight for you and also there are Daleks which have custom voice lines and blasters, there are a few Dalek mods i defo recommend them.

Check that there are no existing mods with incompatibilities, change the load order of the mods making sure the important ones like the 021 framework is close to the top of the list and it's dependent mods are below it. Try these and let me know how it goes :) I hope it works for you it's very fun to play :)

Hey Mega, you could totally start with this mod if you want to, but I would also recommend just getting the hang of the basics first. It's up to you, this is your story, just enjoy it :)

oh also I downloaded and activated the total conversion pack on the description but some mods werent compatible with 1.4 and I had a system crash while I was choosing my colonists. Do you know why?
@@yegti hey, I'm not sure, since 1.4 alot of the mods won't work unless updated by the modders. but check your load order aswell. if something is required by another mod make sure the prime mod is at the top.
Anyone knows a updated star wars modpack? Tried this one, as also several others and for some reason don't work, not all the factions show, world is pretty much empty at creation... dunno what doing wrong. I really want a fully SW experience in rimworld

Hey mate, I believe they need time for them to learn the force. you can always use Character Editor or Prepare carefully to speed up the process and just pick what you would like. :)

Hey, Welcome to a larger world. The way to think about it is, if it is required by other things like a toolkit which changes the functions of things in rimworld which the 021 toolbox is, that should go up very high. but if it adds things like characters, weapons, things that I are items it can go lower on the list. You should also Download Rocketman from my performance mod video it will help your game run better and needs to be at the very bottom of the load order. if it's hard to figure out you can always press autosort. it might not be the most optimized but it should work. if you would like me to take a look at yours and help you order it send me a message on discord. I havn't included some mods that are required to use those mods but the steam workshop will tell you that you need them. Damn that is a long answer. if you want to have a chat about it just send me a message in discord :)
Did anyone else experience the inability to pick up weapons I made sure that they were capable of violence
Hey BlondeBoy, Sorry that's happening. I have only experienced it when they are incapable of violence. are you playing as a certain faction? are you able to equip them with a weapon using the Character editor?
@@AussieBattleCat i figured it out.. Apparently dual wield hates these mods. If your pawn cant pick up guns its most likely caused by dual wield clashing with something
Man I play version 1.4 and I have a lot of difficulty with mods, could you put this list of mods in a folder with a download link? I ask this with all due respect and without wishing to abuse your goodwill too much.

Hey deadmone, im currently on a roadtrip so i cant look into it too much but from memory there is an 021 wiki page which the mod author has explainingt it. İf you cant get it to work though you can just build the tanks and go into the dev console and fill up the tanks when you need :) i hope this helps, enjoy star wars rimworld :)

@@00DEADMONE00 damn, sorry mate Im still without house internet so i can't have a proper look. I remeber though if you start with one of the pre set outpost landings you base does come with blaster turrets connected to tanks of tibanna and also possibly pumps. If at the very worst though just jump into the dev console and set your tanks to full.
