    Awesome, been looking for some aftermarket exhaust slip ons for my Scout, for a reasonable price, and I think I found it...

    I thought the Radient GP shorty’s came with baffles that you can install or leave off.

    • @TayandKay

      As far as I know, they are extra. They may have a bundle online that comes with both, but mine did not.

    Any tricks on checking the coolant reservoir? Even with a flashlight nearly impossible to see through the yellowed polyethylene wall. BTW I installed the same pipes from radiant cycles. They are LOUD. But that's what I wanted. Cheap, loud and streamlined. The stock mufflers boring boat anchors.

    The slip on’s sounds bad ass

  • @tawaitai
    @tawaitai 3 года назад +1

    I wouldn't go that far to call it an exhaust, it's basically slashed tips. It would sound the same without the tips once you take off the oem mufflers, but well worth it, now it sounds like a real bike.

    • @TayandKay
      @TayandKay  3 года назад +2

      That's why I referred to them as slip-ons because thats what they are. Regardless they sound throaty and mean and for only around $100 they are worth it as you said.

      I bought these and there is a definite oddity to the way the bike accelerates now. Plus these pipes are louder than 'too loud' for me. I've had short shots on my harley's and they weren't too loud. These are pretty close to just running straight pipes. Not sure there is really any difference. You can see right through em hah

      I read they are around 105 decibels,..im going to get the Radiant Stealth shortys which have more baffles and are around 95 decibels,..more $$ but wont go deaf as quickly? I think these ones are just too loud. the company made the 'stealth' in response to people asking for quieter ones
