Agreed. The average person knows very little about these cards. Kwetu Nairobi by Hilton is such a unique property which you feel as soon as you walk in.

It sure is. Meet up? I haven't done such a thing. I often run into subscribers but never a meetup.
One thing that I would like to be answered is the progression for sign up bonuses. I'm no beginner when it comes to credit, however the SUB is where the best deals occur. But if I go for the big boy, the platinum, that means I can't ever go back and get the SUB for the gold if I understand this correctly. How deep does that go? Do I have to start with the every day and then green and then gold and then platinum if I'm working my way through the SUB chain? Is there a point that ignoring the low end cards and their small SUB makes more sense than getting them?
Think of it as a progression within 3 groups. The Cash cards, the Everyday MR cards and Green-Gold-Platinum.
SUBs within each group do not impact SUBs in other groups.
So get the Everyday before you get the Everyday Preferred.
Get the Blue Cash Everyday (BCE) or Cash Magnet (CM) before you get the Blue Cash Everyday Preferred.
Last I checked, the only oddity is that you can't get the SUB on both the BCE and the CM.
Of course you already know about the Green-Gold-Platinum progression.

I’m really looking for the most points I can get on groceries and gas. I’ve got a CSP and the bilt card. Looking for one that can fill the gap of gas and groceries. Not sure if the starter Amex’s would be a better choice than a capital one card.

Are the everday cards credit or charge cards? I have the Hilton Am Ex.
The EveryDay cards are credit cards. They even have $0 APRs for the first 12months on balance transfers as an introductory offer. I tend never to cover balance transfers because I don't want folks get into the habit of not paying statement balances in full.

@@De_Guatemala I took in city life for this trip. If you do go, plan out your trip we'll. I usually just muscle through and randomly just roam the streets and mix it up locally. It's my favorite thing to do.
