As a life-long Seahawks fan I can confidently say that, outside of winning the Super Bowl, Steve Largent's revenge hit on Mike Harden is the single greatest moment in franchise history.
👆
I love that he clobbered him so hard that he fumbled and Largent recovered it, making Harden's interception count for nothing
Hehe wrong sorry that was so over rated Steve largent really isn’t that good
@@shortclix8740 He retired holding every single receiving record in the NFL. I'd say that's pretty good.
Agreed
i miss when lynch and sherman was in seahawks man
now wilson man
were*
@@rileyvonoy1853he’s washed now in Denver
@@rileyvonoy1853 how about now? Lol. I was the same way at first, but saw how horrible he has become
... when Lynch and Sherman were* in the Seahawks,* man.
Unreal how loud the Seattle crowd is. Sheesh.
I know right I literally can’t hear shii when I leave the stadium
Your ears ring for a good day or two after a game
if you say 12 that mean your loud but its only for seahawks
Got a problem with that?
Should have heard the Kingdome. I was yelling at my friend right next to me at the top of my voice and he still couldn’t hear me. My ears were ringing for a few hours after the game was over.
That greenbay and Seahawks game for the superbowl was basically the greatest come back in nfl history
I'm glad someone actually Acknowledge anything before the 2013 Super Bowl Season. There are some of us 12 Fans before they won it all...Go Hawks !
I’ve been around since day one, and there is little, other than Largent, I would care to watch, prior to 2011.
@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied Nah, there's a bunch of good stuff. Krieg recovering his own fumble then throwing a TD off of it vs the Rams, Efren Herrera's trick play reception vs the Raiders, Fredd Young blowing up people on kick returns and causing fumbles, etc.
@@imaouima Cortez’s entire career, Easley blowing up plays, the Blue Wave defense in the 80’s
@@imaouima no one said we didn't have good plays from time to time, but there's a reason we didn't get a ring until recently
@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied didn't yall go to a super bowl in 06? Lol Seems like that would have been a fun year.
When people say there were no Seahawks fans before 2012.. no, just that the rest of the league didn’t know that there was a team in Seattle before 2012.
Right??? Born in '82, I SPECIFICALLY remember my mom's Kenny Easley poster in my playroom growing up with an "Easley Srreet" sign, Kingdome and "Largent" on my pop Warner cheer card as favorite player. Just cause OTHERS recognized us late doesn't mean we weren't here ♡
Glad to see some older clips in there. Especially the divisional game against Miami in 83. Seattle was huuuge underdogs. Lost the championship to the Raiders but was still a great year. Oh yeah the Largent hit on Harden also. That was awesome.
The PETE GROSS calls are IMMENSE with the 4 pick sixes in a single game!
@@nomadbrad6391 I remember that boss! Insane!
Love that the game vs Dolphins was in Oragne Bowl, complete with paper trash blowing all over the field from trade winds.
@@Zorn76 Man I love the user name.
This may be the greatest Seahawks highlight video on RUclips
The voice of Pete Gross. I will never forget him. 👍🏻👍🏻
The PETE GROSS calls are IMMENSE with the 4 pick sixes in a single game!
I loved Walter Jones, Steve Hutchinson and Shaun Alexander! True power football baby
Did I miss it or was there not a single Shaun Alexander highlight? Criminal
Right! At least he made the thumbnail…
Absolutely agree - he was on the cover of SI and Madden for a reason - rushed for close to 2K yards in 2005 and had not one but 2 x 88 yard runs in his career. He was the reason they made the Superbowl in 2006 and the only Seahawk to ever be named League MVP.
@@jasonsheath3294 bro that was the O-line, but ya they should have some of those highlights so we can watch jones & hutch pancake ppl into their graves.
Largents revenge hit will be my fav of all time
I remember watching that game at 5:13…Thomas was killing us that day! He had 7 sacks and was going for the lone record of 8. Not only did he barely miss his 8th but it ended up being the game winning TD pass to Paul Skansi. What an amazing finish!!!
Krieg could really bomb it
@@enigma9971With apologies to McEnroe; you cannot be serious?
The PETE GROSS calls are IMMENSE with the 4 pick sixes in a single game!
I love how this video gets to the point and shows arguably the most important Seahawks play in history. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I'm just going to watch this video every Sunday afternoon for the 2022/23 season.
I didnt even watch football before 2010 so that was my first season and seeing beastquake at the game with my dad was something I could never forget
7:52 - Largent was the man for sure. Loved seeing him, Dave Krieg, Jim Zorn, and Curt Warner. Wait, did I see the Boz in there? Wow, those are some memories.
That was Michael Jackson. It was cool seeing him and Manu Tuiasosopo.
The BOZ ! Those were the days my friend!
That fourth quarter comeback against GB will always be legendary. I remember watching it live.
classic
What show is your pfp from
I’ve been a Seahawks fan for almost a decade. It’s painful to see Wilson go and the LOB to officially end no one from the super bowl era on defense is there anymore 😔
bruuuuuce
BRUUUUUUUUCEEEE
We got BWags back!
I think that locket catch at the end is the best of all time. , That or some of Baldwin's crazy one handers , also don't sleep on Paul Richardson that boy made some crazy catches
Would've like to have seen Efren Herrera's fake on the Seahawk's first MNF appearance, Nate Burleson's game winning punt return, Jacob Green's interception against Cleveland, Steve Largent's last TD, and so many more.
Probably hard to find good videos of those.
I still have that game on tape
Can't believe the drive against the vikings isn't in the video
I came to Washington a year after Mt. Saint Hellens blew off her top 37 years later I moved to Alabama (ROLL TIDE) and the Sea Hawks are still my team GO HAWKS!!
11 minutes of straight up serotonin, go Hawks!
Glad to see Mudbone still getting some love for that awesome win against the Chiefs 👏😁
This was awesome. So many more could be added but this was great.
I get chills just watching the prime of my team and realizing how great they were,go hawks💚💙
I got chills too but from this half a watermelon I had in the fridge and am eating with a fork. Was a trip down memory lane hearing those names being dropped. Could be slim pickings on the highlight reel this year.
This is the best mix on you tube! GOHAWKS
Seattle has had so many HOF players:
Jerry Rice
Devin Hester
Adrian Peterson
Franco Harris
Edgerrin James
Warren Moon
Lynch and Russ
Chancellor, BWags, Sherman, Thomas III.
@@jasondousett3620 kam will never make it because of his semi short career
@@BOOMERS._ I agree his longevity (or lack there of) will be his anchor but the same could be said about Earl Campbell, Kenny Easley, and even Lynn Swann. They all had shortened careers but still made the HOF. No one was as dominating as Chancellor during his time, and should get serious consideration into the hall.
I see what you did there. But come on, Largent, Jones, Tez, Easley. Pretty good group
I remembered most of them memories.
Good compilation. I was at the 4 pick-six game in '84 and the walk off FG block for a TD in '96. Watch most of the others on TV...that NFC Championship game vs. the Packers was the craziest and most stressful contest I've ever seen.
You think of all the great catches Steve Largent made, his greatest play was the hit on Harden. Poetic justice, hit was beautiful
Defense scoring record of 4 INTs for 4 TDs, long before the LOB arrived. Awesome!
Rip Pete Gross. Was one hell of a play by play announcer. Love all the clips before super bowl era teams
All of super bowl 48 should be in this video honestly
Both the Romo fumble and the Packers NFC Championship Game gave me ulcers watching them live
My day is not starting out the best and I have a feeling that this will make it go better
Good plays from all eras
10:00 dog I just cried, those were the days, man. What the hell am I doing up in New York, thousands of Kilometers from home back when Seattle were my superheroes and life was simple? Nothing gets me as emotional as this team man, nothing.... except maybe the Canucks-
If you asked any other NFL fan before 2013 "Will Seattle win a Super Bowl?", most of them would say "Impossible". And when 2013 hits, the impossible becomes the possible.
thats my home team baby whoooooo!!!!!!
Love it
So many memories flowing rn. That Seahawks packers game was amazing
Those were the days. Thank you John Schneider.
Greatest moments of my life
I miss everything about, especially the legion of boom
That Green Bay came was incredible. Nothing will ever top that game. That crowd.
It turned out incredible. But holy shit was most of it a nightmare for us, lol. Pretty story book though, so many interceptions when targeting Jermaine but for him to catch that last pass to send us to the SB, amazing.
W vid💙💚
People forget how deadly Leon Washington was.. and your missing a few big moments in the Hasselbeck era but it was a solid vid..thanks
Team of the decade
GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!
I love the Seahawks
“A” for effort, but a few big omissions:
- Any big moment from Seattle’s first Super Bowl run, either the Panthers or Redskins playoff game
- The 1988 season finale at LA, Seattle wins its first AFC West crown, with the biggest play being John L. Williams 80 yard screen pass for a TD
- Any of Largent’s record breaking catches (they’re on RUclips)
2:08
Announcer: Crowds silent now…
Crowd proceeds to be one of the loudest in NFL history
Could've put Shawn Alexander in where he torched the Raiders. Also, Marcus Trufants interception against the Redskins would've been a good one too
I have been a Hawks fan for 13 years now and I loved all of this but I don't agree with the intertouchceptiondown should be in here it was such a botched call by the refs.... I'm done bitching now this was amazing Thank you so much
You left off the run by Alexander where Walter blocked the guy 15 yards back to get to the first Superbowl birth, but that Largent hit is one of the best revenge hits of all time, Largent's career was nearly cut short by a dirty hit by that guy earlier in the year
Ay to could u do the best 49ers moments of all time
It's crazy that derrick thomas had the single game sack record that game but couldn't bring him down with the game on the line
You should do raiders best moments
Do a video of seahawks defense lowlights
Chancellor hit on Davis. Fred Young tackle. Kearse catch in the Super Bowl. Alexander’s record game. Galloway reverse field punt return. BJE pop up return.
2:18 was the peak of seahawks
Cmon man. U can’t have Shaun Alexander on the face of video and not have his 266 yards on Sunday Night Football against Raiders.
I didnt think you would get the KC Kreig to Skansi win (where Derrick Thomas pounded Kreig all game), but I REALLY didn't think you would get the Houston FG block runback (everyone went nuts in the Kingdome {i still have video of the days where Hawk fans clapped after good plays}). Well done.
2:10 show love to the running back 🥶
Fail mary shouldn't be on this list... still, great video!
wish i saw more shaun alexander runs but nevertheless this was a great video
No Shaun Alexander? Still a great real man, appreciate it
Largent with the hit stick
Seattleeeeeeeeee just for me
Missed one that I think should have been on there, and that is the Kam Chancellor 89 yard Pick 6 from Cam Newton. Also the DK Tackle of Budda Baker after he intercepted the ball from Russel Wilson. There are more I could think of like the doug baldwin 80 yard TD against the Steelers. Those are the top three I think shoudl have made the list.
This is cool, but no clips from our only MVP.
He scored 5 TDS in 1 half
Disrespect
Not a lot from 2003 to 2007 era had some good years in there
Yeah they even won the NFC championship in the Holmgren era.
@@CRMdrifter got cheated out of the SB by big ben and the refs too.
@@aarlavaan Bad calls in that game for sure but the Seahawks certainly weren't playing their best either. Shaun Alexander and Jeremy Stevens were both ineffective and the Seahawks had extremely poor clock management which cost them some points before halftime.
@@CRMdrifter which I agree with. but It still irks me that Ben got given a free TD by the refs for crawling into the endzone after he was down.
@@aarlavaan Yeah we could've won that game if things had gone differently.
Greatest Giants Moments of All-Time? :)
Good to see Largents payback on here
Cant wait for the season man...over here itching like a crackhead for some Seahawks football 🤣
i dont think people really know baldwin all that much, he was an amazing player for the time he did play. one of my favorite players. Go Hawks!
I was so bummed when he retired. Just an incredible player.
You forgot the game-winning field goal that ended the 49ers' undefeated streak from 2019.
The Seahawks crowd is crazy loud Jesus
There should be a lot more Lockette in here
randomly got this in my recs so just came to say have fun going back to being irrelevant :)
No juggle catch by jermaine kearse?
Worst injuries of all time
Sea Hawks named from the past to Madagascar republic..
Would anyone else have included the Metcalf chasedown or is that just me?
why did you stop posting?
ive been very busy with school but im finally gonna start posting again
@@sportshighlights3239 looking forward to it!
How have they only won the super bowl once??? ( D.K metcalf has some plays in there now too)
Seahawks lost to Steelers and patriots in the past. But am sure one day they will have a second super bowl win
Man I hate watching anything from before 2000. How TF did we even see anything?! I know theres some YT compression happening but JFC!!!
Good bye Russell.
69th comment
Babineax stopped Romo short of a first down.
Fun fact: you searched this
How u know?
Ya, and there were more great plays from the early, early days with Zorn.
Greatest u lost us the game moments
