I am living in the Bay Area now, but when I was 10 I moved to Tacoma (30 minutes south of Seattle) from LA county, that was 2004. I became a Seahawks fan in 2005 after watching games with my uncle. Them going to the Super Bowl made it really easy to become a fan at 10 years old, but I have been with them ever since. It feels so good being a dedicated fan sticking with your team through the good, bad and ugly to finally watch them become one of the best teams. Every season since we got RW3 I always believe the Seahawks can make the Super Bowl. Before the 2013-14 I swear to God I called Seahawks vs Broncos, next year I called Sehawks vs Colts (Colts made the AFC Champ), 2015-16 I called Seahawks vs Raiders, the year after that I called Seahawks vs Steelers... lol I just always believe, even if its too much. I'm anything but a Seahawks fan, but wow - this is extremely well done. If the Bears ever have the sustained success the Seahawks have had, I would absolutely love if someone did something similar to this. I love seeing the process of an organization getting built from the ground up.
That one year with Jim Mora was perhaps the worst year in Seattle Seahawks football history. Really painful to have witnessed that in my 3rd year of being a seahawk fan but we weathered the storm and got blessed by the Pete Carroll era. 2018 may be the most crucial year yet for Pete Carroll in Seattle and i hope he stays around a while longer.
Were you not around during the 1992 season? Do you not know the infamous names of past Seahawks' blunders like, Dan McGwire, or Rick Mirer? Worst season: 1992 Next worst: 2008 Next one after that: 2009 Anyways... I'm looking forward to 2018! Anything can happen! Go 'Hawks!

Excellent documentary. Well put together and it captured the beginning of the Seahawks legacy we see today. Pete Carrol was the right choice at the right time. These were the seeds that grew into a Super Bowl Champion and team to be dealt with year in and year out. Carrol will go down as the best coach the Seahawks ever had. I've always liked the Seahawks. Their games was on here on the East Coast at least 3 -5 times a year. So I got to enjoy their style when the had Zorn, Largent, Smith, running trick plays, blocking punts, and that crowd at the Kingdome was always crazy. The Ground Chuck years was good, espescially when they knocked off Miami. Even though they lost the Championship game, it was understood the Seahawks are real and dangerous. So I liked them a long time and was very happy that they win consistently.
Great Episode! Beast Quake helped get that Wild Card Victory but it's easy to forget, in what turned out to be his final game in Seattle in a Seahawks uniform, Hasselbeck had one of the best games of his career in that game. After the early INT, which is arguably not on him, he played like a man possessed.
Thanks for making this! What a great history of the Seahawks and some of the pivotal people in Seahawks history. I really liked hearing the actual words about his life from Marshawn's own mouth. To go from nothing to everything it must be hard to handle.
🔥🔥🔥EXCELLENT Video, would make a die-hard fan become a Seahawk. Redemption, Unrelenting, Never Give-Up, Thank you🙏for reminding the world how incredible & life changing sports can be. Looking forward to Part 2
I'm a huge Pete Carroll fan I live in Michigan but absolutely love Seattle football Super Bowl 49 absolutely broke my heart we need a coach like Pete Carroll where I come from here in Michigan we haven't had a winning season since 1991 when Barry Sanders was in the backfield in my opinion a winning season is winning more than one playoff game in the last 20 years I've never seen a coach with more enthusiasm and love for his players who knows how to balance having fun and getting down to business when it comes to winning football games with the exception of Jimmy Johnson Pete Carroll is the best coach in Seattle Seahawks history again this is just my opinion
Pete got a unbelievably great deal with Seattle which included the rare Vice Pres position as well. People love to hate and say he left SC because of whatever, but it was a super deal that he couldn't refuse.
That last game is the kind of game you’re supposed to go to with a loved one. Games like that don’t leave the memory of those who experience it in person. I still remember my first laker game, where Kobe threw a buzzer on Dwayne Wade, and I’ve never forgotten it.
I’m just stopping halfway through this to say... this is sick! Great job producing this, William. Crazy to look back on the beginning of this era, makes you realize how fast time goes.
Seahawk fan for life. Born in Seattle Wa. 1967, Swedish Hospital. Doesn't any more Seattle than that. My family has strong Norwegian tree. The Vikings were my favorite team as a youngen'. I dreamt football from age 5 on. I begged for old early 70's jr NFL letterman's jacket for kids. Begged. It was the only thing I wanted for Christmas. Finally, aged 8, I finally got it. Then the NFL announced Seattle and Tampa Bay are getting new teams. Over the moon. I was so happy. Finally, we were getting our OWN team. But I was torn. I had this new jacket for a team I could no longer support. After all. How could I root against the home team? I prayed and walked along a creek. Then it hit me. I'll put it in god's hands. So, I found a sturdy stick and held my jacket, shivering and all, over the creek. A very deep part with steep 6 foot cliffs. If I was to stay with the Vikings, then the stick would hold. And it did. I accepted my fate, pulled the jacket back in and the stick broke!!!! When I got home, I was both exalted with joy for my new team, and dread for what lay ahead. My mother was upset of course. "Wait until your father gets home". Which meant dinner time. Oh, those long waits for dinner at times. The dread was horrible. I was already trying to think of ways to excuse myself. Dinner was fine. My older brother just smiled like wolf, savoring what was to come. My little sister was oblivious, mostly worried about whether her snoopy doll would get along with her new barbie. After the main course, before dessert, dad gave the big sigh. It was time. "I hear you threw away the jacket you have been asking for the last two years. Why would you do such a thing?' "um..... well dad..... Seattle's my hometown....and we have a new team and well Dad, I can't root against my home team" ........................................... Dad: "well mom, the boys got a point." No punishment at all. I remember it for two reasons. I realized how much I loved football but way more powerful, it was the ONLY time Dad took my side over Mom!!!!!!! ya. The NFL is a special thing.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I thank God for the Seahawk players.. Pete Carrol and the 12th man. ❤️you all...and thanks for reminding me what happens when you keep believing!

@@jasonriley2650 no they were not.
The Detroit Lions in 1982 made the playoffs, lost to the 49ers 24-23 when Eddie Murray missed a short FG attempt.
The Interstellar soundtrack. My god. I didn't realize how beautiful it made that moment.
This was great. I was all the way in my feelings..so proud of so many, thankful for so many great memories. So many great human beings who have given blood, sweat, tears, heart and whole bodies..as a fan..this has covered the true road of where we have been and where we have to go..#12forever.
Wassup pretty lady
So beautifully put. WE ALL WE GOT! WE ALL WE NEED!!!
I'm anything but a Seahawks fan, but wow - this is extremely well done. If the Bears ever have the sustained success the Seahawks have had, I would absolutely love if someone did something similar to this. I love seeing the process of an organization getting built from the ground up.
As a Vikings fan, I see a lot of what happened to Seattle repeating itself with Chicago.
N M Espanola N.m junkies are coming to the NFL soon chimayo 4 life... Free needle day c soon
@@plzfixwolves955 i thought the same thing last season, guess we werw wrong
@@marked4death076 Lol yep.
So weird to see Pete coach without Russell. And also, im so glad they changed their color scheme to the navy and action green!
Worst season: 1992
Next worst: 2008
Next one after that: 2009
Anyways... I'm looking forward to 2018! Anything can happen! Go 'Hawks!
He literally just said he had only been a Seahawk fan three years prior to Mora...
Don't Get Mad Get Glad 1992 man, Was absolutely brutal, all we had to root for was legend #99 Cortez Kennedy......2 and 14!

Relax, dude! The internet would be a much better place if there was some decorum and level-headedness. Dude didn't seem to give a shit that I made that li'l mistake, so cha-cha-cha-chill, buddy. Gotta keep that blood pressure down, yo!

I'm always happy to see and hear about how new 12's (newish, in your case) became 'Hawks fans. How did you?
Bro this made me tear up multiple times. I love this team and Pete Carroll 💙
Poetry. Your work is absolutely poetry.
This is a wonderful tribute to a wonderful owner. Well worth watching.
Am I the only one who had goosebumps throughout my whole body when watching the beast mode run
This is a work of art, a blue and green tapestry woven with 12 shades of emotion. Amazing job!!
incredilble. as a seahawks fan who started when pete came to town this gave a tear to my eye. absolutely beautiful
Top notch productions values. Great stories within a larger great story - compelling, deep interviews.
Great Episode! Beast Quake helped get that Wild Card Victory but it's easy to forget, in what turned out to be his final game in Seattle in a Seahawks uniform, Hasselbeck had one of the best games of his career in that game. After the early INT, which is arguably not on him, he played like a man possessed.
its so cool watching this as someone who started watching the hawks in 05. What a ride
I have binged this series 4 times
Go Hawks! Can’t wait for the next Super Bowl we’re gonna win🖤🦅
Looking at this video now makes me sad that we are going to repeat this after this year when they go 2-15
I could care two figs for the Seahawks, but this is a pretty interesting and entertaining doc.
super bowl 40, most rigged super bowl I've ever watched
Thanks for making this! What a great history of the Seahawks and some of the pivotal people in Seahawks history. I really liked hearing the actual words about his life from Marshawn's own mouth. To go from nothing to everything it must be hard to handle.
🔥🔥🔥EXCELLENT Video, would make a die-hard fan become a Seahawk. Redemption, Unrelenting, Never Give-Up, Thank you🙏for reminding the world how incredible & life changing sports can be. Looking forward to Part 2
Its amazing to see all the pieces come together for teams 💙💚
"Saints came to the wrong field today"
Masterpiece. Can't catch my tears
Man this is great...that saints game was so hard fought good times to be a fan!
Pete got a unbelievably great deal with Seattle which included the rare Vice Pres position as well. People love to hate and say he left SC because of whatever, but it was a super deal that he couldn't refuse.
This video gave me appreciation for Mike holmgren, even though he didn’t win the super bowl he really helped turn Seattle around in the early 2000s
Bam Bam Kam in still is one of the best steals in NFL History! If he played at least 4 more years I believe he’s a H.O.F
john schneider probably the best thing to happen to the seahawks this decade
52:01 ....I miss Marshawn.....nobody ever ran harder....
My compliments on how well you presented that amazing and immortal moment.
Still gives me chills
YOU READY!!!!???!!!!???? Here we go into Atlanta!!! One GAME!!! THIS GAME!!! NOW!!!
Why would you do such a thing?'
"um..... well dad..... Seattle's my hometown....and we have a new team and well Dad, I can't root against my home team"
...........................................
Dad: "well mom, the boys got a point." No punishment at all.
I remember it for two reasons. I realized how much I loved football but way more powerful,
it was the ONLY time Dad took my side over Mom!!!!!!!
ya.
The NFL is a special thing.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I thank God for the Seahawk players.. Pete Carrol and the 12th man. ❤️you all...and thanks for reminding me what happens when you keep believing!
I got goosebumps so many times
Great work on this series. I think all Seahawks fans need to watch this.
Jim Mora Jr is a terrible coach
i dont watch this sport but this documentary was cool
