I would definitely recommend checking out the books, theyre a great read. And theyre a different setup too, instead of like being told whats happening from like a third person pov, theyre written from Percy's pov, like he's telling you what happened, which can lead to some hilarious insight into his thought process "I'd like to tell you I had some deep revelation on my way down, that I came to terms with my mortality as I fell, that I laughed in the face of death, but really the only thought that was going through my head was 'AHHHHHHHHHHHH'"
@@TheNerdyverse-DannyReacts understandable. I'm adhd so I'm unable to just sit down for long periods of time to read. The audiobooks are alright, but the person reading does some voices that are just... weird. So they're kind of hit-or-miss for me. But based on this trailer, it looks like the series is in good hands. The Labyrinth of Daedalus is gonna be cool af when they get to it in season 4. It's easily the coolest location in the series. It's a huge underground labyrinth thats constantly growing, snaking its way under the surface of the earth like a second skin, and it's constantly changing. You could be going down what looks like a mine shaft, then suddenly it's gone and you're walking through crumbling underground ruins of some forgotten temple, or you narrowly miss falling into a bottomless pit straight to Tartarus that just opened up at your feet. On top of that it's full of skeletons of people who either came in by mistake or tried traversing it. The only way to get out, is to find the mark of Daedalus on the wall, a faint glowing delta symbol, and press it, which opens the nearest doorway to the real world
i cant waaaaiiiiiittttt. Seeing so many scenes and characters in these few minutes that were missing in the movie makes me beyond excited, i pray for it to be good and successfull so that we can at least have five seasons to cover the original series!
Disney.... race swapping, no surprise there! Let me guess.... Annabeth will be the actual main character with Percy is a bumbling moron... just like any other Disney production Alphabet community representation ?!...most definitely I hope this show proves me wrong but Disney doesn't have a good track record for a few years now.
i mean this wholeheartedly rn, please stfu. no one who's actually a fan of the books cares about any of this whatsoever. first of all, rick riordan, THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOKS, helped with the casting and guess what? the actors and actresses in this show had the best talent and chemistry out of everyone else so idk why tf youre complaining, especially since these are literal children and youre probably a grown ass man caring too much about wanting fictional characters to be white in a disney+ kids tv show about greek mytholgy being real. second of all, im assuming youve never even read all of the books in the series considering youre going on about some "alphabet community" when the books literally have MULTIPLE queer characters, including one dude who had a crush on ur fav main character percy. third of all, annabeth IS a main character. she's around percy af all times and is also a daughter of athena, AKA the goddess of wisdom. so u saying percy is gonna be a bumbling idiot is really not far off from what happens in the books, which you probable didn't understant considering all you focus on is how 12 year olds look. tldr: get a life
I mean Percy is kind of an idiot but a hero. Annabeth is a smart know it all but has her faults. I wasn’t the happiest at first but I have faith in Rick.
Disney didn’t do any race-swapping, Rick Riordan did-the author. It sounds like you’re just making assumptions based on your own biases. You should give Leah a chance because she obviously impressed them enough to win the role. And by alphabet community, do you mean the Lgbtq+ community?? Cause Percy Jackson has always had canonically queer characters lol

🤣🤣🤣 sounds pretty funny to be honest - I wish I enjoyed reading but I much prefer watching

I am sure they will do it justice 😁
@@TheNerdyverse-DannyReacts as of neo I have good faith that it will!! ❤️
The showrunners have made Black Sails. They're experienced, so that's a good sign.
super excited for this show and your reactions!
Yay, glad you are excited too 😊
Yup I loves God's tales.
