Hi everyone.
Today I realized I've stopped doing something I used to do which I thought was very valuable, which is comparing monitors. At this point all I do is talk about the monitor I'm reviewing with some tiny comparisons here and there.
Why did I stop? I don't know. It's not like I just stopped because it was a lot of work, or to make a monitor look better. It's just something that faded away from my mind and I never realized it until just now when uploading this video. I didn't even want to make it public after realizing, but I guess this'll still help someone so I'm posting it anyway.
I'll make sure I'll start doing that again because otherwise you won't know how this truly compares.

It's the first time I've said something like this but I absolutely love your content and you definitely deserve to have your channel explode. Your monitor reviews always hit the points I and many others are looking for while other "top" reviewers constantly miss the mark, imo. Keep up the good work, it definitely doesn't go unappreciated!

Thank god this monitor is 32 inches. There are literally no 32 monitors with 240hz refresh besides the curved samsung. I am so glad they did not make this monitor 27 inches. There are literal millions of 27 inch monitor choices. Finally we are getting some choices at 32 inches.

Great review wish you had tested the HDMI 2.1 ports with either the Xbox Series X or PS5 would like to have known if the input lag and response times were still the same or better with Consoles through the HDMI 2.1 port.

Just picked this monitor up and no complaints wish the HDR was little brighter but other than that zero complaints. Xbox ran great on it 120hz no issues 9/10 IMO

Great, in depth and informative review Just picked this monitor up yesterday for mixed usage between work Mac and Xbox Series X and I must say I'm very impressed. My initial feeling is that I prefer the experience gaming on A monitor like this vs my 75" TV which has a dedicated game mode HDMI 2.1, 120Hz FreeSync Premium, VRR and ALLM enabled. The LG 32GQ850-B just seems more fluid and responsive in comparison to the point I believe it actually helped me perform better while paying MW2 / Warzone 2. I was wondering, is is this just placebo effect as its a new tech and I was excited to try it out or do monitors like the 32GQ850-B just perform better regardless of how game enabled a TV can be with its claimed response times, RTINGS test etc., I set the viewing distance to be comparable when playing on both TV and Monitor, using THX recommended 36 degree field based on screen size, but I feel the monitor is just faster even if the TV is equipped with all the bells and whistles when it comes to gaming features. Any thoughts toward my perceived obserrvation, I'd like to see a test of a high end Mini LED TV like the LG QNED 90/91 vs LG 32GQ850-B / 32GQ950-B.
Have the Acer Predator XB323U GX at 1440P. Really like the size, sure it's slightly more pixelated than 27", but at 51, I can see stuff a lot easier. Regarding higher refresh rates, I find my eyes get a lot less fatigued when playing FPS games. That alone makes it worth it for me.
have you tried this monitor though? lol nobody cares if you have some other monitor and havent tried this one
@@theravingchannel 🙄I wasn't dissing the LG, I was only supporting the fact that there is a market for 32" 1440P and that higher refresh have other benefits. One of which is reduced eye fatigue.

Bijan, Amazing review. Could you please spend more time in the response time area/graphs next time? I just picked this up brand new for $499 with extras in a bundle from an Amazon seller. Guessing they got the pricing wrong cuz it’s not there anymore. Anyway some people on the net say this can do 4K 120Hz some how? They called it a bug, I think it’s a feature worth looking into. Especially if it can do both 1440P 240Hz and 4K 120Hz. Also is this the fastest 1440P 240Hz IPS monitor yet? Thanks!

I play battlefield 2042 with overdrive set to fast and Mode selected as Gamer1 and I still notice weird input lag.

Coz as an example Im not subscribed with ur channel because m not into these thing too often however i love ur videos when i search for monitor and see ur video i get all the knowledge i need! Before me clicking on the video i saw 4 others and the final video was urs! If ur photo was in the thumbnail i would go for it from the beginning! Love your channel. Curious, is there any chance you could do a review of the best 1080p / 1440p monitor in terms of motion clarity for more demanding games like Apex or Warzone, where you're realistically not going to hit 240 fps with 30-series (or AMD-equiv.) cards? Thank you!
Apex is very easy to hit 200+ fps and warzone i hit 180 with a 3070ti get a good cpu qnd 30 series cards can def have fun with 200+ fps
I play cs go at native 2560x1440 on the Samsung G7. I can tell you one thing: you need beast of a system for that. The best GPU on the market and really fast ram and single core performance to reliably push that framerate in all your games.
It has competitors, and this one is late to the game. Check the Acer Predator XB323U. 1440p, 32 inch. I have the 270Hz. It's $900, and Vesa HDR600 as well. Almost same specs. I've been using one for more than a year now. (You weren't interested because you only cared about 27")

Have you ever owned/tried the Gigabyte M27Q and if so, have you ever noticed that or any other Gigabyte Monitors to have a lot of motion blur, and just look horrible when playing? My M27Q is awful but I have 4 other monitors I tried and none of them have issues, so was curious if you have seen this issue before.

Great video as always my man. Do you plan on reviewing Alienware QD Oled? I am really interested in that one. It is not available in my country what so ever thought seems like they were really popular and models didn't even get the chance to get to poorer countries in Eastern Europe. Also i want that aopen/acer 390hz but that one is not here either.

I am planing to do the same, but have read about people having problems with those monitors. There is a bug that switches the video signal to 4k 120hz in fullscreen mode somehow and now i am afraight of buying them. Have you had any problems like that with your triple setup ?
@Patrick Durka they have been working flawless for me I have them in 1440p 240hz and never let me down.

@@taxi615 thats great to hear man! The internet is full of people having that weird 4k bug, its like the monitor would think its a 4k 120hz panel. Specs are great, but i really dont want to have that problem on 3 screens. What graphics card are you running? Looks like most people having that problem would be nvidia users.

Have you noticed any advantages with the new LG's using Advanced True Wide Polarizer ? I bought a PS321QR based on your review a year ago so I won't be updating anytime soon, but LG reviving "old" tech ; ATW Polarizer; is interesting.
Do you know if it's on this monitor? If it does, I didn't notice it being different.
@@BijanJamshidi LG mentions this in their key future as "Nano IPS Display with ATW" so I assume it does. It's supposed to handle "IPS glow" better, especially off-axis glow, but I have yet to see a 32GQ850 or 32GQ950 in person.

How long until LG do oled at 27" 1440p 240hz with a super bright panel with a heatsink so BFI can be 160nits and can do it at any refresh from 60-240hz with low input lag for that god tier crt replacement for AAA gaming. Until then my Samsung G7 odyssey 27" isn't going anywhere.
It’s super frustrating that this panel is $900 and doesn’t have one overdrive mode like the G7 or panels with G-Sync hardware. This would have been an instant buy from me but I’m not going to manually pick and choose overdrive setting based on game.
I have the 32gp850 and i leave the setting to normal for vrr, i mean the G7 has one overdrive but has much more blur or ghosting so it's no sense, in my opinion.
You think you can use normal to this too?

Got it for PS5 to play 1440p. Without the upscaling to 4K everything is crystal clear. I kind of like it better. Not sharp like 4K but much cleaner to look at then 4K.
It runs in 4k? Is it a true 4k?

The new Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 has 1000 more for a similar price. It's still an eye watering £900/$1000 insanity level monitor ... but at least it's up there.
To the video maker, I doubt you'll see my comment, but I'm not saying any of this as criticism, by the way. But increasingly viewers looking at HDR monitor reviews are looking at this specification, so I think it's now a known thing with mentioning. If I were to insert a purely personal critique: I realize that reviewers like to either obfuscate things like price and key bullet points so people watch the whole video, but I'll always watch good content if creators get the meat and potatoes up front.
i see the brigthness is falling a bit down on the right side in your review, got mine today and it has this on both sides and also a reddish tint, which is distracting when surfing the web on white sites .. is this reddish tint normal for this panel ?

Tarkov has their built in Post-FX which works better than pretty much every monitors black EQ and color saturation I've seen. So choose whatever monitor you want for everything else and use Post-FX for tarkov.
hi, i just bought same monitor, but when i set it on 2.1 pc it doesnt show signal. when i put it on 2.1 av i get signal but 144hz why cant i use 2.1 pc and get 240hz?
I personally see advertised specs’ such as 165hz screen (over 144hz) as HDR600 …. Just a show for numbers sake… to achieve those speeds 99% of the times means image sacrifice!
hi i wanna ask why my settings are just input (hdmi 1/2/dp) and game mode 123 thats it the rest are not showing up like its just those two. i already updated it to the latest firmware using the usb cable that comes with the package altho i downloaded on screen control but its totally different from what i saw in youtube videos showing all the settings options.. anything that i might be mssing? tia!

One issue I've found with my unit is that in fullscreen mode the monitor will max refresh at 120Hz, but in windowed fullscreen it will hit max refresh. Curious if this happened with your unit.

@@BeastBlood4life any game I’ve opened. I don’t play Warzone, but I did test it in MW, Cold War, and Vanguard, so I’d assume the issue would carry over to Warzone.

I can't decide between this monitor and the 32gp850 monitor and the Samsung monitor g7. For me, the brightness in sdr and hdr is very important. I want it to be bright. I think the best is the gq model, but I don't want to have local dimming and be on black screens when the mouse moves. . Let us know what you think and they are waiting for your answer and help
I bought this 32gq850 i tried the g7 but it had many bleedings so i returned and get the 32gq850, the best monitor i ever had

Did you have a problem with this monitor going to 4K res instead of native 1440p? I set to 1440p 240hz open a game it’s running at 4K 120hz not native.
You need to down load CRU and do this tweek ruclips.net/video/k3r9kJNPmXE/видео.html
For some reason the EDID on the monitor forces 4K120hz on some full screen apps, the info is there for the benefit of consoles. With CRU you can delete this info within windows so pc game will ignor it but it will still work ok with consoles.
Man don't know what to go with between G70a or this.
I'd never get a 32 inch because of the pixel density.
