I watched Jon in the 1956s at 4 yrs old .. I learned to draw before I could read or write . These lessons changed my life .
A quote to remember:
"Clowns are an interesting group of people".
A "clowng"? You should edit that.
I remember watching Jon Gnagy back in those days. I even had the art kit they sold.
It's like I just stepped out of a time machine!
i remember!
A real beatnik looking type guy.
Jon Gnagy made television history. He was one of the first people to have his own television series. He was the host of the program, “You Are The Artist”, which was broadcast on NBC from 1946 to 1950.
No sound?
What did he use to draw the clown?????Was it a pastel chalk???
FAC CartwrightsDealerFFL / he uses carbon., of different tones
@bhayes06 He's Hungarian!
So what was the thing he was going to tell us? He said it twice, and now we shall never know. Heck of a good clown though!
That's where they had a commercial ... a "word from our sponsor."
I think it's spelled Gnagy.
