What a wonderful video! I discovered the Blackwing 602 some years ago. As a picky ball-point pen person, I never thought I would get excited by a pencil, but the 602 changed my mind. What a joy it is to write with. I noticed right away that the proprietor agrees with me. ;)

Air Traffic Control has used "contact" as a verb for decades as in "Contact departure on 132.9"

That tattoo had an impact on my opinion of the proprietor.

I use the word "affect" as in "This video had a curious impact on me so, in effect, you could say that I was affected by this video."

Oh, dear Comma Queen, you might have done your friend and her shop a favor by giving the ADDRESS on Forsyth Street!

I think the cringe-worthy "impactful" has gained popularity because of effective-affective confusion.

don't know about Mr. Hard(t)muth, but Mr. Budweis, but the latter's name hints at a male ancestor who came from the same place in Bohemia where the GREAT "Budwar" beer is brewed -- and which was purloined and, dare I say? -- BASTARDIZED by the US's disgusting-tasting "Budweiser" beer. Someone who comes from Budwar is called (in German) a "Budweiser" (like Frankfurter and Berliner). By the way, no one in Germany calls a sausage a Frankfurter, but a German donut with a jelly center is called a Berliner!
