I have a Cybertruck, Aptera, Metacycle and a Splach Transformer ordered (all except the Cybertruck paid for). I’m a small guy and the SurRon is a good fit. I’m 79 years old and I want to have fun while I can. Thanks for the videos/information. I’m going to have to watch your other videos.

I made friends with the security by picking up trash first and introducing myself. I’m 64yrs young but feel like 25 again. I raced expert in the 70s -90s. Just please wear as much protective gear as you feel you’ll need. 60 mph getoffs are really going to set you back at least 3 months.

@@hcildwold1751 I wonder if the cops harass you for riding on it? Technically you don't need a license for it since it doesn't have to be registered with the state. Doesn't need plates. But what if you have a suspended license? And a cop decides to be a dick and pull you over?
@@wombat5252 it did have the option of pedals. I wanted them so it will technically be a bicycle. But looking at it right now I don't see the option anymore. Thinking about getting a Hemingway and adding a stronger motor on the front wheel instead just to avoid problems with the police.

2 tips: 1. Even though the metal valve caps, you installed at you sheel look cool, I would advise you to change them to plastic ones, as these are know to corrode over time 2. Maybe you should shorten you steering tube of you fork. By that you can reduce the needed spacer wich looks way cooler

Apple makes an "Air Tag" which is a tracking device ($30). If your bike gets stolen you can track it and get it back. Tile makes tracking devices for other phones.

It's not an ebike in most states in the USA due to it's speed and lack of pedals, it's an E motorcycle. Even Segway's clone is marketed as an E dirt motorcycle. Technically you are supposed to have a motorcycle license, tags, registration and insurance to drive these on the street. I realize most cops wont know the difference and wont hassle you, but be aware of your legal obligations if something goes wrong.

If/when I get more money I'm definitely getting a sur Ron and moding it out like this. Why even have a car and pay for tabs, plates, insurance, gas and upkeep?
If I had a bike like this, I wouldn't need my car anymore for short trips around the city. A Sur Ron alone in its stock configuration has a maximum speed of 50 MPH. Either way, I'd save me a lot of money on gas if I had a Sur Ron as a daily driver. I think the only drawback would be that I might end up being a cop magnet for those thinking a Sur Ron is a gas powered motorcycle and not an electric bike.
