one of the prettiest necklaces I've seen and VERY easy to follow - you do great instructions unlike 66snotty I didn't have any trouble seeing the string but a darker board IS a good idea GREAT JOB
Amazingly easy to do. I watched this video once before I tried it. Looks very impressive. Unfortunately i didn't have ebough beads to finish so had to modify the ends of the necklace. it would be helpful to have some idea of how many beads would be needed for the one you are making her. My husband thinks it's the best thing I've ever done!
Thanks for your comments. I have just had a word with Jane about the quantities. For future reference she said: The 7 row necklace is approx 34cm long and uses 150 x 6mm faceted and 300 x 4mm faceted. I hope this helps.
at the bottom . if you ad one seed bead same color as blue and go back up ob lue and one black the thread will be hidden and the dangle will look nicer.. just an advice..
Your work is very beautiful but a few times your fingers and hands kept covering the beads you were stringing. Also, it would be great if you could have used a counter top that was colored so we could see the white string.
I like the beaded part of the necklace but the clasp looks out of place. A wider clasp would look more professional. Perhaps a tutorial on how to attach a multi string clasp to this necklace?
Yes, sorry about that. It's quite difficult to arrange them so they are as out of shot as possible. This is quite an old video so hopefully I have improved with practice. We have used a grey beading mat but a brighter colour may be a better idea. Thanks for the tips.

11 years later, I'm still rocking this design, in fact, I sold a couple. thanks so much!

Thanks. It does look stunning, as does the 5 row version. I had lots of compliments on it even before it was finished.
