I love your demo with voice explanation as i have wanted to try this. I am a beginner so please don't take this video down before i can get the supplies to try it, thank you
Ok, you make a loose knot in your tail end of thread. Then, cut your new length of thread and pass it through the loose knot. Then you pull the loose knot tight, sliding it down so that it sits snugly against the last bead added. Then take your two tail ends and knot them together a couple of times to secure. If you are using nylon, a small dab of glue helps to secure it. This method works for any size beads. I hope this helps.
@KaylaKay810 Hi Kayla, I would say start with about a metre of thread, otherwise it will get in a tangle. If you go to just past 9 minutes in on the video, Jane shows you how to attach a new piece of thread. Hope this helps.
Thank you. I have just had a quick count and there are (roughly) 200 x 6mm beads, 840 x 4mm beads and 40 rocailles (seed beads). This is approximate as it depends on what size you make it. Hope this helps.
thank for the video ma, your works are beautiful, and your explanations are good, what if one can't get the nylon thread should one use the available one, like 0.30 above, pls ma I need your reply, thanks.
I have watched this several times and tried to locate Rock I beads from your web site but cannot find any of them anywhere. The picture does not show what they look like close up so could you please let me know of an alternative or send a picture of what they look like in case they are called by a different name. your explanation was very good and slow enough to follow but could do with some help with above as I've noticed that I am not the only one that hasn't heard of them before.
Hi..this is very beautiful necklace.. :)... but when i'm making the same..the shape of the necklace is not stiff..can you please let me know which type of beading thread you have used.
I didn't understand completely how to add more thread, can you clarify please? I've made one already just by doing normal ties but I'm now using smaller beads that the knots wants slide through.
Beautiful choker :) Got one question though. Can the beads be different size to the ones your using or do I have to use the exact size which you are using??????
lovely but couldn't make out what you were saying for list of supplies, etc. so couldn't watch the whole thing knowing I wouldn't be able to do ....would appreciate slower speaking and clearer pronunciation for us mainland folks
That is the most gorgeous necklace ever!!!

I like how your beautiful work do not require a needle awesome
Beautiful! I've used the 'horizontal
l netting' stitch in a watchband. Thanks for the inspiration - I'll now try the vertical stitch :-)

Hi great tutorial, how many beads for this necklace. I am a beginner
Why did you come back down the fifth time on the opposite side? Does it make a difference which side you go down?
I didn't understand completely how to add more thread, can you clarify please? I've made one already just by doing normal ties but I'm now using smaller beads that the knots wants slide through.
