Manduka Pro Lite yoga mat review

- The Manduka pro lite yoga mat is a popular crowd favorite for yogis traveling from home to studio. The mat is easy to transport while still offering a lot of cushioning for joints (very helpful for yogis with sensitive knees) and is easy to clean due to its closed cell construction. In this review, I go over the specs and features of the yoga mat, give first impressions and review that mat after practicing on it without going through the break in process of salting and sunning the mat. Let's see if the mat is too slippery to practice on without breaking it in!

My Prolite is currently being shipped. I bought a Manduka Pro many years ago, and broke that one in by placing it in front of the sink and stove for a few weeks and treating it as a normal kitchen mat. Despite some stains it's better than ever.
I needed a new studio mat so I got the Prolite. Has virtually all the support and stability of the Pro, but it's three pounds lighter. If this one is very slippery, I'm going to try scrubbing it with a magic eraser, which acts like ultra-fine sandpaper.
Hope you're enjoying!
Thanks! Mine comes tomorrow so this was very helpful.
Happy to help! Hope you enjoy the mat!
The Manduka GRP Adapt mat is my favorite, and I've been looking for a lighter 2nd Manduka mat (like the Pro Lite) for my yoga and hot yoga practices. Thanks for the thorough review.
Thank you for watching! Happy to help!
your reaction to the salt...hilarious. (rightly so)
😂 right?! Sun, salt & good vibes 👀🤷🏻♀️😂
Hi looking at lots of RUclips videos everyone always sprinkles salt on the mat then lightly rubs it into the surface as manuka says due to the manufacturing process their pro mats have a slight residue left on the surface ans removing it does make it more gripper, I would have thought you being a RUclips creator that you would have checked out what other RUclips videos say about it
