- In this video, I head off to the Norfolk coast for a wild camp with Hardy from Hardy Tempest's Wild Camps & Walks. The first day was very mild with great sunshine but quite windy. The rain then came in overnight. It was interesting being somewhere without any real hills! Such a stunning coastline too.

Love Winterton dunes you’ll defiently need to return in the summer and have another go. Hike, Swim,beer and laugh, the trick is to be down in one of the holes just behind the top dunes and then you’ll be out of the wind and more importantly WARM 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing

Nice adventure dude. The food thing... It's the main camping related brain teaser I'm trying to figure out. You save weight on the food(160g instead of 300g) but the extra water I'd have to carry surely weights around the same, so in your opinion, is there a noticeable weight difference? Space saving wise, the larger water bottle, does it make a difference in your pack? As always, enjoy seeing you out. Atb James
It probably all evens out regarding weight unless you are getting the water for the meal from a stream or something I guess. Cheers for watching James and the nice comments. Hope all is well with you and Mary.
@@benhikescamps that's a similar conclusion I had, we are all well. (now Mary has got over being sick after she came back from her travels.) Hopefully we'll be able to get out for a walk or something this weekend. Atb James

Nice location and yes I'm the same with winter camping. Still do it for the love & peace of it but oh so looking forward to when the clocks change again! Especially this week as winter takes a bite again.

Yep. All good here Ben. Enjoying make more videos which is driving me to do more walking and being outdoors, which I should be doing anyway, so working out well! I liked your use of slo-mo in this one BTW, I will have to have a think about maybe using a bit of that. I’m sitting here on a Friday night thinking about video ideas for the weekend so I must be hooked - cooking on a twigstove in 50 mph winds maybe? Well I guess nobody else will have done it so might get some traction? 🤔

@@My24hradventure Hi Jonathan. As this spot was privately shared with me by another wild camper, I would rather not reveal it's location. However, the Norfolk Coastal Path is long and varied, and will no doubt have similar or even better spots. Good luck with pitch hunting! Many thanks - Ben

This is great. my parents just moved to Acle in Norfolk (I live in USA) so Im looking forward to visiting them AND doing some overnights along the coastal path!
