Another good video,Ben,and how nice to see brown sauce used on the breakfast roll...Tomato sauce users should be lined up against the nearest wall...IMO.
Nice one, Ben 🙂 This was great to watch sat by my work laptop, a lovely escape to the coast and camp life. I loved the grin on your face when you tucked into that bacon/egg butty😂 The fire was a lovely addition "nature's tv" and I heard Bear Grylls (I think) say of a fire "look after me when I am small and I will look after you when I am grown" 😊
Thanks Kerry! Was a great camp and a great spot. Your Columbia adventures look amazing. Back to cooler weather for you both soon eh! Take care and speak soon - Ben ☀️😎
Loved that kuksa! And a stunning spot to camp, nothing like a wide open field sometimes. Couldn't help noticing the free advertising Mr CLB (Dan) got there, lol...send him a bill for it. 😂
Nice little camp Ben. Hope you enjoyed the book, I've recently read it myself, fantastic. I was out 2 weeks ago for a solo overnight camp in some nearby woods. I let the owls singe to sleep. Perfect
Very nice scenery Ben it looked very comfortable in there and fantastic camp ,there’s nothing better than a brecky in the morning delish take care buddy till next camp,👍👍👍
Nice example of coastal erosion there Ben. Possibly a good place to scrat about for prehistoric flint tools, etc.....if it's safe! A grand looking spot that. I really fancy a coastal camp this year. Hope you are well. Best wishes, Chris
Hi Chris. Many thanks for dropping by. Good idea about tool hunting. The cliffs were quite dicey and muddy though! Got your latest vid on my watch later list and looking forward to it. Cheers Chris - Ben 👍👍
I live 5 miles from the north east coast and we have cliffs rising upto 750 ft and I've never been to see a sun rise in my 62 years. Suppose I'd better go and have a look, 2 hours from the lake district and I ain't been there either. Great chanel ✌
A little Dickie Bird told me what place you were at on this one, Ben. I wished I'd known at the time. I would have shouted "cooeee" from afar. Nice tent that! That fire pit is really good, isn't it?! Nice and sturdy and the heat doesn't even affect the mesh. Plus, if you're careful, you could if needed move it about. Nice one, Ben 😉👍🏻
steady mate. the atmosphere of camping on the hill is indeed extraordinary pleasure. behind the struggle of unforgettable memories. pay attention before you leave the place. good luck buddy. greetings one tet. 👍👍
It's nice to hit a semi wild site now and again, as otherwise I wouldn't dream of a fire or tent as usually it's all about the stealth. Funnily enough after the hooped bivy a tent really is luxury. A lovely spot there if it's not raining and blowing a hooley. It's just good to chill.
Very awesome camping video, I just subscribe and like 👍 your nice video my friend. Very good video content, thank you for sharing your wonderful camping adventures 👍👏👏👏😃
Looks like a great place, nice video, I'm out Friday night to test out my new urban stealth camp area and am sooo looking forward to it... Take care Ben ATB Chris.
We really loved this video Ben! What a stunning spot for a camp 🥰🏕. Definitely something about camping by the sea. Nice and relaxed too being on permissive land, and all an hour from home, ideal😊👍. Really nice drone shots at the start!😊👌. We may have made a recent purchase in that area too, which p is still getting to grips with😊👏. Really cool fire pit, love that 👌🔥 . Also Pete absolutely loves your new kuksa!😊👍☕️. Lovely shot of the sunrise in the sunrise in the morning 🌄, and so nice that you didn't have to rush. Bacon and egg looked delicious! Really nicely put together video of a great camp, big like from us as ever, also totally agree with your sentiment at the end, we all should be getting out there appreciating what we have in these awful times for the world🙏, take care and have a good week, Shell and Pete
Hi Shell. Hope all good with you and Pete. I really enjoyed this one. The kuksa was a recent birthday present. Lovely to drink out of. Take care speak soon - Ben :-)
Great video. Nice to see the North Sea. I'm lucky enough to live 20 miles from the East Yorkshire coastline and typically don't visit as much as I should. I'm hopefully looking at doing a beach camp sometime this year. Not decided if it will be a tent or bivvy. Thanks again and look forward to your next one.
Can't beat a nice relaxed, stress free one sometimes eh Ben? Looked just the ticket. Out of interest, was there much scorching of the grass under the fire pit? I like the look of them... thanks for posting mate - here's to spring! 👍Rich
Lovely Views and so pleased that it was not to close to the edge and then noticed it was not a shear drop too, i use to love watching and was subbed to a quite a big channel then the person pitched right on the edge of the the cliff with a shear drop, even the papers picked up on it, i seen it and unsubscribed, such a shame as the person is so likably to watch as is you and your content, anyhow my 6 year old grandson watches a lot of them with me and loves walking and camping with me and i don't think its very responsible. You are inspiring many people i think and even if not so many people enjoy your videos, i do read a few comments on each videos that i watch and people that are unable to get out, age or disabilities or just don't have the time it gives them the feeling of being out there and an escape from the normal day to day stresses Ste
Thanks so much Ste. Really appreciate those kind words. It means a lot when I know people have got out as a result of watching something on this channel. Thanks again! 👍
Great video! Haven't tried out the Sea to Summit meals yet, will have to give them a go.. Was good to see that fire pit in action, I've been looking at them for a while now but couldn't decide if they were any good or not.. Keep up the great work 👍 😊
Great video Ben. Up till now, my wild camping/bikepacking has been set piece trips to Dartmoor and the Cairngorms in summer. But now I’m tempted to venture out in colder climes. I’ve just got myself a Klymit Insulated Ultralite, so hope I get on with this better than you. Best wishes, a fellow Londoner.
Hi Geoff. Many thanks for watching and commenting. I’d love to do the Cairngorms and will be doing Dartmoor soon! Always good to explore different places and mix it up a bit. I’d be interested to know what you make of the Ultralite. Thanks again. Ben
Great video and the setting looked lovely but I have to question the eggs/brown sauce combo? Just wrong in my books😝 Nonetheless you did seem to enjoy it. Keep on keeping on👍
Thanks Paul. Hope all well. Just need to ask about. Also there some semi-wild camping sites about that are nearly like wild camping. Quote good fo getting into wild camping.
Loved the intro to the video Ben, the drone shoots were amazing. Breakfast of champions, egg and bacon rolls, nice biscuit choice to LOL Though I recognised the fire pit from your last video, nice bit of kit. The thermorest sleeping pads are meant to be good ? Maybe your pad isn't supporting your lower back enought. Look forward to the next video Ben
Given the amount of stuff in your tent you must have had your car a few feet away or a bunch of Sherpa's at your disposal. It's hardly roughing it. I'm surprised you didn't roast an entire hog for dinner.
I don't get how campers pay through the nose for the named dehydrated meals. Find yourself a dehydrator, and make your own. Pat Dickinson has a very good video on it, I have been doing it for a very long time and I am no chef.
Gorgeous landscapes bud, that was so comforting to watch.
Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciate that. 👍🙏

Another cracking video. I have that foldable fire. It's a great bit of kit. Especially for keeping a fire off the ground. Used mine loads.
Hi Mat. I enjoyed this solo camp. Nic calm one. Love that fire pit.. I need to use it again soon.
@@benhikescamps yeah looked lovely. I'll have to drop you a message and find out where it was. I live near Dover in Kent.
Nothing more enjoyable than a couple of bacon and egg rolls , Ben, in a beautiful setting, great video.
