  • This how you do a forced, sometimes called parked, regen on a LS Tractor with a LS tier 4 final engine. If you have a tractor with a Shibaura tier 4 interim engine the only way to do a force regen is with the laptop. This video applies to the XG3100, XR3100, XR4100, MT2E, MT3E, MT3, MT4 and MT5 series tractors with the LS Mtron engine which either is a 1.9L 3 cylinder or a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine.

Thank you. I recently took delivery on my MT357HC. Saw the light flashing and knew it was the regen light, but had no idea if it was happening or going to happen. Eventually it did start, then saw the regen temp gauge and I was questioning if it was too hot or needed to to be hotter. Came across this video and now see all is good. Dropped it to an idle after the temp regen light shut off, then idled for a minute before shutting it down.

My regen light came on flashing once a second, then the light went solid, ran for a few minutes then turned off w/o the temp light going on? did a regen occur? Also, would the regen happen again after only 2 or 3 hours of operation?

If the regen temp light didn't turn on then a full regen probably did not occur. It probably started then a fault of some sort kicked it off. Are there any codes flashing on the screen?
